News from your Co-op store It’s been a long summer, says Gemma Massie “It’s not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain”... Dancing through the rain is exactly what we’ve been doing! We have been facing some tough availability issues lately but we are slowly getting back to normal. We thank you all for your continued support and patience during these times. SAMH – mental health matters: We are continuing to raise funds for SAMH. We have a few fundraising weekends in the pipeline so watch this space. Our total is currently sitting just under £4,000. Long service: Kyle and Gemma recently received their five-year service awards. Community involvement: We love supporting our local community in any way we can. During the last few months we have continued to support Aboyne Fareshare with monthly donations. We donated water and snacks to Deeside Community Learning for their free family activities during the summer, provided two local girls with baking ingredients for their bake sale which raised £564 for Young Minds and more recently we presented a cheque for £200 to Aboyne Nursery towards new resources.
