Forget-Me-Nots have branched out!
An essential support service for dementia patients and their families has branched out to Aboyne. The Forget-Me-Not Club held its first session in the Community Shed in July and runs on Mondays, 10.30am to 13.30pm. The Banchory-based charity offers trained support and makes no charge for its services, relying on donations, grants, fundraising and support from Aberdeenshire Council. The new group enjoys friendly chats, games to gently challenge the mind and body, and lunch. There is currently space for another couple of members at these sessions.
