Hai! I think we have something in common! You love nature too, don’t you? My work is an ode to nature and I design products for everyone who is also touched by it; a robin in the garden, a hedgehog on the lawn or a woodpecker in the forest. I try to capture those nice moments for other nature lovers. I do my best to work as environmentally friendly as possible. In the day-today running of my business, we find it important that we think about the materials we use. I hope this love for nature is reflected in the colorful products I design. In this catalog you will find our wholesale collection that’s all made in the Netherlands. Hopefully you will get some inspiration to bring some more nature into your home. Have fun.

Drawn by hand All illustrations are hand drawn. The Blue Whistling Thrush is the result of more than 9,000 strokes. I work digitally in which paper and pencil have been replaced by a drawing tablet and stylus. I like detail and with this method you can zoom in far to add a lot of detail. Feather by feather the bird gets its color.

The process We all purchase our materials in the Netherlands and work with people who each add their expertise to the plates and tiles. A special transfer is made with the image for each design. We can only fire with a full kiln otherwise the kiln will be damaged. We therefore collect enough orders to fill akiln. When all materials are in, we start decorating in the studio in Eindhoven. Each item must of course be made with care. The plates and tiles have to dry well, so that also takes a few days. The tiles are very porous and if you heat them too wet they will break. We then take everything to the ceramist who has her studio nearby. She fires everything for us. It takes a few days because the oven has to heat up and cool down! It is more than 800 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately, things can go wrong on many points, but that’s just part of handmade stuff. We will collect all the plates and tiles again and we will send your order from the studio! Every order is different and we pack everything with love so that it arrives in its entirety.

How to display Several ways in which you can display your plate. You can hang them, set them on a shelf with a strut. We recommend using sturdy hangers that have been proven solid and won’t come off. We use Leeds Display hangers and struts and we can supply them, but you can also buy directly from them. We can also install the hanger on the plate for you for an additional fee.
Season’s designs We also regularly make new additions that match the mood of the time. Here you see a collection with winter illustrations that I made for Dutch nature conservation organisation Natuurmonumenten.

Tiles Our tiles are handmade and can withstand a good cleaning. You can put them down, hang them or even use when tiling a wall.
Dutch tiles The type of tile we use is also known as friesian whites. Each one is also made by hand. Each tile therefore has a rustic and vintage look. The glaze of the tile is bright white. This makes the colors of the tile splash!
They are also made by hand in our workshop, just like our plates. The tiles come without a hanger. But we recommend hangers and struts from Leeds Display that you can order yourself for the best price. We can can also supply these and install them at an added fee.
They can also be installed in a tile wall. Contact us for the supplies of the white undecorated tiles.
