RWU WRESTLING

TRAINING FACILITY

RWU Wrestling’s incredible 30-year history is a journey of becoming a regional and national powerhouse. Our student-athletes now regularly compete against the best in the nation, adding the titles of 8 All-Americans and 1 National Champion to RWU’s distinction. In order to build upon our legacy of success, we must continue to recruit the best and brightest in our sport to become a Hawk, and one of the critical program elements to attract future students is having excellent facilities for them to train and compete. We can achieve that with your help in building a wrestling facility that RWU can be proud of, where student-athletes can develop and hone their skills using the best-designed space. The importance of superior training facilities cannot be overstated. Our students will spend countless hours training together and forming a lifetime bond, transforming from young wrestlers into seasoned athletes. They will learn the values of hard work, perseverance and resilience that prepare them to succeed both in their sport and their academics – core values that will also enable them to thrive beyond their time at RWU, in their careers and personal lives.

We believe our student-athletes deserve the best, which is why the Department of Athletics is building a dedicated wrestling space.

With your contribution to a new practice facility, RWU Wrestling will have all of the key ingredients to achieve our vision of consistently competing for NCAA Championships.

The 2,700-square-foot facility will include wall-to-wall mats and provide a dedicated space for Roger Williams University Wrestling to call home.
