THE VALUE OF your RWU DEGREE

NO ONE CAN BETTER EXPLAIN THE VALUE OF AN RWU DEGREE THAN OUR ALUMNI. HEAR FROM RECENT GRADUATES TO FIND OUT HOW RWU PREPARED THEM TO BE ROGER READY UPON GRADUATION. VISIT RogerReady.RWU.edu TO HEAR FROM OUR ALUMNI We know that choosing a college experience will mean an investment of time and resources for you and your family. That is why we are committed to providing an excellent education at a cost that our families can afford. An RWU degree provides students and families an exceptional value throughout your college experience and beyond.

FUTURE-PROOFING YOUR DEGREE In today’s marketplace, professionals can’t just learn one set of skills and be successful over a lifetime. They need to present their ideas, understand the context of problems and integrate knowledge and work across teams in order to design solutions that work. Your degree at RWU provides you with the breadth and depth that will keep you marketable and adaptable no matter where your career takes you.

BUILDING A DYNAMIC RESUME Still deciding on your major? Maybe you want to balance your major with a minor in another discipline? Our coursework allows you the time and space to follow your passion without delaying your graduation timeline. In fact, the majority of RWU students graduate with either a double major or major/minor combinations because of our flexible curriculum. So as you are securing internships and thinking about jobs, RWU will support and prepare you for a successful career and a fulfilling life.

96% OF GRADUATES HAD JOBS OR WERE ADMITTED TO GRADUATE

PROGRAMS WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF GRADUATION. AFFORDABLE EXCELLENCE

To hold the line on college costs, in 2012, RWU launched the Affordable Excellence initiative which guarantees that your tuition rate and the financial aid you receive will not change over the course of your degree. Our price stability provides you with the added piece of mind that you can create a financial plan for the next four years with us with confidence. Compare this pricing assurance to average annual tuition increases of 3-5% yearly at many other schools, and the value of an RWU degree becomes even more evident.

your RWU EXPERIENCE

No two pathways through RWU look alike. The courses you will take, the clubs you will join or create, the majors and minors you pursue and your goals beyond your degree will make your RWU journey unique. At Roger Williams University, our collaborative work will prepare you to become a lifelong learner, an engaged professional and active citizen. While your RWU path will be your own, the experiences below are what all students can expect.

ENGAGED LEARNING

ADVISING AND SUPPORT

RWU will challenge you to solve real-world problems throughout your academic career. Our dedication to experiential learning guarantees that you will tackle community projects, complete internships (locally and abroad), or conduct research with faculty across any major you choose. Further, as a primarily undergraduate university, RWU students have access to faculty, facilities, and opportunities that are usually reserved just for graduate students at larger universities. These opportunities provide you with an advantage in your future job searches and the graduate school application process.

You are never alone at RWU. Tutors, career advisors, peer mentors, and accessibility services staff provide you a range of resources and support from orientation through to graduation. This personalized approach is designed to keep you succeeding in the classroom and on campus.
