The family is joined by almost two year old son, Julian for the occassion. A move to Valparaiso was on the calendar, but the family comes back to St. F/COL each week for the Baptism and Masses. HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY TO GEORGE MUSZYNSKI AND HIS BAND OF VETERAN BROTHERS: The hall in Lemont was filled with veterans and their families for the 80th birthday of the legendary George Muszynski, at center. George was honored by the military for his efforts/feats and then he went on to pursue his amphibious talents at the Shed Aquarium in Chicago; his snorkeling expertise and getting up close and personal with the big fish in the bigger tanks at the Shed. And, George can happily report none of the fish chose to nibble on him rather than the fish he proffered. Pictured with George here are from left Hank Kazmierczak, Omar Medelin, Larry Kutz, Cody Anderson, George, Allen, Bud, and George Winski. Larry is President of the Southeast Vietnam Veterans and George is Vice President. Next up for the SSVV Veterans will be the annual Lou Novakovic Chili Contest, Sunday April 30, 2023 at The Shed Saloon, starting with the judging at 1 pm. Chili served at 2 pm. Donation is $10.
