VPC Construction Updates! In preparation for the new HVAC system, including proper soundproofing for new sound system, extensive excavation of ductwork trenches was required. Demolition is done, and soon installation of new ductwork will begin. Concrete pads are placed in mechanical yard, ready to accept new chiller. Kiva Elementary School drop off and parking information Monday-Friday, 8-9AM & 2-3PM The new school year starts tomorrow! If you plan to come to VPC during drop off or pickup times during the week, please be aware that traffic entering the shared Kiva/ VPC parking lot on the west side of campus is one-way, going south. Cars entering from McDonald (by the Chapel) will exit out VPC's south parking lot (by the Sanctuary). We recommend parking along Quail Run to avoid the shared parking lot during these times, and remember to drive safely and keep an eye out for kids!

Women’s Ministry: Freezer Meal Prep* Saturday, August 10, 10AM-Noon, Landes Kitchen Cost: $10, Sign up: vpc.church/women, RSVP by August 7 Make the start of the school year a little less hectic by having some dinners you can just pull out of the freezer and cook. You can assemble three or four meals that you can take home and freeze for later use. *Childcare available (0-5)

Within our classic Sanctuary something new is emerging. The presence of children in worship is a gift to all of us. Children ages 3 and up get to worship with our whole church family on August 11. NEW SERIES STARTS SUNDAY, AUGUST 11 We are all under construction. God is refining and shaping, chiseling and hammering, sanding and polishing, until a masterpiece emerges from our flawed marble. God sees something in each of us that is beautiful and eternal, and he is determined to release it. No one is meant to be the solo designer of their own life. Unless God is allowed to be the Designer and Construction Manager, all the work will be in vain. His work in us is not yet finished, and the construction begins from the inside out. -Pastor David Joynt
