Faithful Life takes faith.
Find daily inspiration with Pastor Joynt's Devotionals READ PASTOR JOYNT'S DAILY DEVOTIONAL! To coincide with each sermon series, David writes daily devotionals that expand on the ideas and inspiration of each Sunday's sermon. Devotionals available in Worship Centers and online: vpc.church/devo Here's an excerpt from today's devotional: “FAITH TRUST” HEBREWS 11:1-2, 8-12 Hebrews 11 is a catalogue of OT saints who exercised faith, in a variety of amazing ways. The word faith does not appear in any of their narratives, save that of Abraham, and then only once. These men and women demonstrated their faith by trusting God in remarkable ways. Their sacrifices and great deeds find their final meaning in relation to Jesus, whose life is a culmination of the hopes and dreams of the Old Testament, giving a new context to every previous institution, practice, and figure.
Faithful Life takes faith.
Abraham and Sarah, for instance, had faith in God’s promise of a son and a new home, though there seemed no reasonable way to conceive, and they had to travel to an unknown and unseen land. Their trust in God’s promise anticipates the NT trust that through Christ we have an eternal home and a new citizenship in heaven. What promise of God are you trusting?

SINGLE WORSHIP SERVICE, SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 Worship: 9:30AM, Sanctuary Festival: 10:30AM, Sanctuary Plaza Celebrate God's work in Malawi!
For over a decade, God has been at work through VPC in Malawi, Africa. Working with Ministry of Hope and Villages in Partnership, we’ve been able to feed and provide medical care for thousands of orphans and people around the country. Wells have been dug, houses have been built, and children have been educated through your support. Work is also being done to build a school, which will allow students to stay all week at school, eliminating what is now a 10-mile each way daily journey.
Worship Celebration, 9:30AM, Sanctuary
We are thankful for all that God is doing in Malawi! There are several ways we'll celebrate the work that has been done and is yet to do. We’re excited to be joined by: • Liz Heinzel-Nelson, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Villages in Partnership • Helen Zimba, Board Member, Ministry of Hope • VPC Chancel Choir & Worship Band • Oasis Kids! Children’s Choir • Valley Day School kids, led by Sunshine Peterson
