You are not alone!

Deacon Sunday Many thanks to all who have prayed for our Deacons in Action, or volunteered in so many ways to help the continuation of our Deacon Ministries. Without your generous financial support, our amazing care ministries could not function. Your gifts are most appreciated. Thank you again, Pastor David Turner

You can get your own daily devotional in each worship center or online: vpc.church/devotional. Devotional: A Pure Heart Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Purity of heart is far more than the capacity we can have to avoid certain kinds of bodily deeds or mental pollutions. It is less about avoiding thoughts and actions than it is about the ability to have a singular, overriding purpose, a driving direction which unifies your whole life. Soren Kierkegaard, Danish Christian philosopher, called it being able to “will one thing.”
