This 13-week program is DVD and workbook based. We believe recovery doesn’t come from knowledge, but from Christian hope, personal support and emotional release.
This workbook and discussion-based class is designed to give you the tools to recover and to hope again. We provide support for a spectrum of grief including suicide, drug overdose, death of a child, family-member alienation, divorce, and loss of a spouse. New attendees are always welcome.

VPC News
Church Office closed Monday, September 3 in observance of Labor Day. Welcome Jennifer, Joseph, and big sister Molly Hamm's new baby! Baby Jaxon Hamm, born Tuesday, August 21, weighing 9lbs and 21.5 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great! Prayers for their family are appreciated.
11:45AM Worship Service update
On August 21, Session, by e-mail vote, unanimously approved a Worship Committee motion to discontinue the 11:45AM Sunday Worship Service. The Worship Committee and staff noted that it is challenging to justify the pastoral and music resources needed for the service given the average weekly attendance. Additionally, Pastoral staff loses the opportunity to meet, greet, and connect with members and visitors after the 10:30AM service when the 11:45AM begins. Finally, they mentioned that once the Sanctuary has been remodeled, it will be crucial for the congregation to concentrate its energy to grow the 9 and 10:30AM services. At that point, it becomes difficult to continue the 11:45AM service.
