There are many reasons to support A New Heart for the Valley. Hear VPC members explain why in their own words. What excites you about A New Heart for the Valley? JIM: VPC is a significant part of my life. I think by bringing the two large worship services into the same building, we’ll enhance the interaction. When the two services are at opposite ends you have churches within a church and you’re not seeing a lot of the other members on Sunday. Creating a heart for the campus, a focal point for all the generations, families and individuals, children and youth….to get everybody back in the same general area will certainly enhance the interaction and community.
It's not too late to sign up for this great study. Women of all ages, explore God’s Word in a small group setting. We provide a light breakfast, fellowship, teaching, discussion, and prayer. Bring a friend!
You are not alone. Did you know? As medical knowledge increases, and as more people are coming forward about their own struggles with mental health issues, including athletes and celebrities, there is less stigma associated with having a mental health disorder than was the case even a few years ago. There is, as there should be, more open discussion about mental health disorders. Information: vpc.church/mentalhealth Elizabeth Weiss: esweiss1231@gmail.com

KATHY: I’ve been a member of the choir for the last six years. I really feel the music is a big part of worship- no matter what service you’re in. I think the ability to be able to share the Sanctuary for choir or band, along with the other changes, is going to be wonderful from a worship experience and from a music performance perspective. Why have you chosen to support A New Heart for the Valley? KATHY: I support A New heart for the Valley because I feel that it will further the growth in our church and also leave a legacy for VPC. JIM: For me, largely it’s because I’m trusting the leadership of the church who themselves, have strongly supported the campaign. I am excited that we’re remodeling the sanctuary to be able to support both types of worship and many other things such as concerts and events. And I believe that it’s also an investment in my future. Read more testimonies or make your own gift/pledge of support: vpc.church/anewheart. Pledge commitments can be paid over three years. Making your pledge by September 30 will help our Session plan the scope and budget of the initial construction. Pledges can be made online, mailed to the office, placed in the offering plates, or call Kris Bahr at 480-991-6424 ext. 112.
