In the late stage of Alzheimer’s disease, caregiving typically involves new ways of connecting and interacting with the person with the disease. In this 2-part series, hear about resources, monitoring care and providing meaningful connection for the person with late-stage Alzheimer’s and their families.
The Valley of the Sun is home base for internationally renowned researchers who are stepping up to the mound to strike out Alzheimer’s disease. This Spring Training season, learn from Heavy Hitter, Dr. Pierre Tariot, Director of Banner’s Alzheimer’s Institute as he shares progress in research and offers hope for a world without Alzheimer’s disease. It’s sure to be a home run! Presented by Banner Hospital and Home Instead Senior Care.

Is God calling you to lead? Is God calling someone you know to lead?
Here are some best practices for all of us to stay healthy: • Feel free to greet others with an elbow bump. • Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently, scrubbing for 20 or more seconds before rinsing. • Use a napkin if you want to grab some delicious donut holes! • Stay home if you show any signs of being sick (e.g., sore throat, cough, runny nose, fever.) • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and then immediately dispose of it in a wastebasket. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community healthy.
