In this 2-part series, hear about resources, monitoring care and providing meaningful connection for the person with late-stage Alzheimer’s and their families.
The Valley of the Sun is home base for internationally renowned researchers who are stepping up to the mound to strike out Alzheimer’s disease. Here are some best practices for all of us to stay healthy: • Feel free to greet others with an elbow bump. • Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently, scrubbing for 20 or more seconds before rinsing. • Use a napkin if you want to grab some delicious donut holes! • Stay home if you show any signs of being sick (e.g., sore throat, cough, runny nose, fever.) • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and then immediately dispose of it in a wastebasket. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community healthy.

W ho W e A re : Is God Calling you to Lead? In a church VPC's size, it's not possible for the All-Church Nominating Committee (ACNC) to know the names and potential of all the members who could be passionate and committed leaders. The ACNC is the team charged with identifying VPC members who feel called to lead in the church. We invite you to prayerfully nominate those members who could serve our church in leadership positions. You are an important part of this community, and we want you to participate in the nominating process!
Proceeds from this year's event will provide improvements to our core classrooms that support Valley Day School, Children's Ministry, Student Ministry, as well as our adult education. This includes upgraded video and teaching equipment, up-to-date security systems and a general refresh for some of the well-worn educational rooms.
