But they urged him strongly, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening, the day is almost over.” So, he went in to stay with them. When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognize him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

Hereiswhatarecentguesthadtosay: Open Door made all the difference in opening our experience at VPC. We showed up not knowing anyone and left with new friends and a new association with the Kaleidoscope community group. We definitely felt God’s hand moving through the event and felt welcomed. In fact, we never moved from one place while people came up and talked to us. After attending Open Door, we KNEW without a doubt that VPC was our new church home. We are so encouraged to be part of this community.
