VPC has 44 active Stephen Ministers who are currently meeting and caring for those in need in our faith community. Stephen Ministers are called and trained members of the congregation who provide insight and a listening ear to help navigate life's challenges. VPC has 21 Lay Hospital Chaplains. These volunteers average five visits per week to nearby hospitals and rehab centers to connect with people from our community who are in dealing with medical issues. VPC's Pastors also make several visits a week to check in on those in medical centers.

Why do we give?
The North Valley Walkers raised almost $2000 this year to support educational programs for Mental Health Awareness in the Valley of the Sun. Thank you again for your support of the team, the members of our Mental Health Ministry at VPC, and for those suffering from mental illness.
When you give, reflect on the gifts God has entrusted to you. Taking even just a few minutes to think about why and how you use the gifts God has given you can have a profound effect. This is a powerful exercise to do with your family.
