ABOUT - BIOGRAPHY
BIOGRAPHY The second-born out of three children, Yasmin Nadhirasari is a pop culture connoisseur who has a knack for good design. As of 2014, I’m currently entering my fourth year in my effort of attaining a bachelor degree in graphic design at Bina Nusantara International University. My interest in arts has been developing since I was a child, while my interest in design grew bigger when I discovered the world of minimalist movie posters back in 2010. I always aim to create a highly functional and communicative design that not only looks great, but can also successfully convey its message to its audiences. I believe that a good design is integral in life, as it is not only just about making a brand looks good, but also about making life easier for us all. Presented in this book are some of my best works. 4

To support their effort in opening their first official store, I was commisioned to create a brand identity that will show their Japanese-Chinese roots in the most elegant, simple, and enticing way. I was tasked to create the logo, menu, print ad, and packaging to complement the brand. I drew an inspiration largely on the owners’ ethnical background.

D ES I G N C U LT U RE N OW UNIVERSITY PROJECT This poster and postcard work was done for Typography III midterm project. The design was built around the grid system, as I made use of it to create a typography using only rectangles and circles. I left the visual of the grid to give the idea of design construction into the work itself.
