transmitters Fixed-Input Temperature Transmitter TRN ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
Low cost 2- or 3-wire output line connection High resistance to electromagnetic disturbances ZERO and SPAN adjustment In-head and DIN-rail versions IP65 box and Ex housing available
COMECO's current loop transmitter TRN converts the signal from a temperature sensor into standard current or voltage signal that can be safely sent over long distances to remote indicators, data loggers, or controllers. In addition to the most common thermoresistance and thermocouple sensors, TRN may convert linear analog input signals (current or voltage). The transmitter is based on high-tech integral circuits and has fixed input range. Two-wire- and three-wire-output variants are offered. Both are available in case for mounting inside sensor protection head, in watertight box with high protection class, in case for mounting on a DIN rail, and in case prepared for mounting in Ex housings. TRN can withstand considerable electromagnetic disturbances and is a perfect low-cost solution for general-purpose applications.

transmitters Transmitter with Selectable Input TRA ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
Low cost High resistance to electromagnetic disturbances Up to 10 selectable ranges for Pt100 sensors Up to 10 selectable thermocouples In-head and DIN-rail versions ATEX approved version IP65 box and Ex housing available
COMECO's temperature transmitter TRA is a compromising solution between the analog transmitters with fixed range and the programmable transmitters. TRA allows on-site selection of input range and sensor type (for thermocouples) as well as transmitter reaction to sensor failure by the means of a group of soldering bridges (jumpers). The exact range is adjustable by ZERO and SPAN potentiometers. TRA is available in case for mounting inside sensor protection head, in watertight box with high protection class, in case for mounting on a DIN rail, and in case prepared for mounting in Ex housings. An ATEX approved version is also available, and when used with external Zener barrier, all other transmitter versions are applicable for Ex zones. Thanks to its flexibility, excellent resistance against electromagnetic disturbances, and low price, TRA is easy to use and very widely applicable.

Low-temperature remote measurement Object temperature range from -10 to 150 °C Field of view 7.3 ° Linear current or voltage output signal Serial interface available Local programmable indicator available IP66 protection class
The TRU temperature transmitter's operation is based on the principle of sensing infrared radiation, emitted from a heated object, situated at a certain distance from the sensor, at a 7.3 ° conical angle. The sensitive thermopile element comprises of a multitude of thermocouples connected in series and allows measurement of the object surface temperature within the -10…150 °C range. The incorporated electronics converts the sensor output into a standard current or voltage signal suitable for further transmission and processing. Moreover, the transmitter may be equipped with programmable local LED indicator as well as with RS232 serial interface for data transmitting. By the means of specialized software, the information about the object's temperature may be viewed, stored, and printed from a PC. TRU is enclosed in a robust plastic box with connector, both with IP66, and is designed to be either freely mounted or mounted on DIN rail via special brackets. The TRU transmitter is very suitable for these special applications that require non-contact low-temperature-object measurement.

pH/ORP Preamplifier PHA ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
Low cost 13 High input impedance – over 10 Ω Low output impedance Temperature compensation available Unipolar or bipolar supply voltage High IP protection class available May be connected to low-cost measurement devices
COMECO’s PHA preamplifier amplifies the voltage from pH or REDOX potential (ORP) probes through a special amplifier that serves as input buffer and provides the high input impedance necessary for normal operation of pH/ORP probes. The low impedance output of the preamplifier may be connected to a standard indicator, data logger, or controller. Two PHA variants are available: - variant '100' with low IP protection class that needs bipolar supply voltage; - variant '150' with high IP protection class and single polarity supply voltage. PHA100 serves only as a high input impedance buffer; no change of voltage signal is performed. PHA150 shifts input signal so that the output voltage has single polarity (its polarity does not change), and allows temperature compensation measurement via an additional Pt100 input. Variant '150' is designed for wall mounting, while PHA100 is to be either left to hang freely on its wires or mounted by the means of a bracket. Both variants are applicable in cases in which there is a need to connect pH/ORP probes to measurement devices without posing special requirements to devices' input circuits and connection cables. The fields of application include biotechnological, chemical, food, and other industries, and research.

Input signal from SENSOREX, INGOLD, or compatible probes Temperature compensation input Built-in source for probe polarization voltage Rechargeable battery for probe polarization voltage Standard current or voltage output signal Isolated current output available Polarization-control front-panel switch
PHO2 is an electronic transmitter of dissolved-oxygen measurements. It transforms the signal from a standard INGOLD® or SENSOREX® probe for dissolved O2 or a compatible one, provides the polarization voltage necessary for the INGOLD probe operation, and performs measurement temperature compensation. A built-in rechargeable battery maintains INGOLD probe polarization even in absence of power supply, while a front-panel switch enables turning the polarization voltage off. The PHO2 transducer provides a standard voltage or current output signal that allows connection of any standard control, data logging, or indication device, with its field of application including the biotechnological, chemical, food, etc. industries as well as research.

transmitters AC/DC Current Transmitter TRT ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
Low cost 100% 2-wire AC/DC transmission Case for mounting inside current transformers available Reliable and accurate conversion High EMS suppression Input isolation option ZERO and SPAN adjustment In-head and DIN-rail versions
The current-to-current transmitter TRT is designed to convert alternative current signal coming from current transformers into a standard 2-wire current signal, which is more suitable for transmitting. Together with a current transformer, the TRT unit forms an AC/DC current converter suitable to measure big AC currents up to more than 1000 A. The 4...20 mA output can be used for measuring, regulation, and registration in special control systems. The TRT transmitter is based on modern integrated circuits and is a fixed-range transmitter. Its input ranges cover most popular current transformer output signals (0...1 A, 0...5 A) and customer specified inputs as well. TRT is available in a casing for mounting inside a current transformer, in 2 casings for DIN-rail mounting as well as mounted into an IP65 protection box, as the latter 3 versions can be equipped with an optional input isolation. TRT is an easy-to-use, low-cost, and EMSprotected device. Its application area includes power stations, electrical equipment, and electricity production and distribution. This transmitter can also be used as sensor transducer in various industrial control systems and everywhere, where AC to DC current conversion is desirable.
