INSTRUCTIONS Dear applicant, Congratulations on taking this 1st step and welcome to a journey you shall never forget. I know some of you are afraid or worried and that is totally normal, however, I would love to ask you just one question, what do you stand to lose by trying? It is important to constantly remind ourselves that leadership equates to influence. But, leadership is a calling. Leadership comes with a heavy price and a significant sacrifice. Many times leadership is confused with position. No, true leadership requires sacrifice. Being a leader means a lot of things, but one of the most important things being a leader means, is that the y ou are placing those y ou lead ahead of your own wants and needs. This has been an amazing and unforgettable journey for me and I believe it would have not been what it was if it wasn’t for the incredible team I worked alongside, all the wins we had and all challenges we faced. We have grown and become young leaders who inspire change and act to ensure positive impact. I would love to ask you to join me in this journey in making our entity the best and most impactful LC in Africa and together we will leave legacies that will inspire the next generation. So, as y ou apply, believe in yourself and I hope that this will be a great learning experience for y ou. Remember, you don`t h ave to be great to start but you have to start to be great! Dennis Tugee, Local Committee President elect 2016, AIESEC in University of Nairobi. AIESEC in UON EB 2016 APPLICATION
