AIESEC is the world’s largest student run organization built to impact the world through leadership development experiences. AIESEC has been facilitating youth activities for over 65 years developing a global learning environment across 126 countries & territories.

AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. AIESEC in Kenya was founded in 1970, with AIESEC in UON as the first local chapter in 1978 and has engaged and developed 30,000 young people. Currently AIESEC Kenya membership is of 600 young people nationally, who are present in 15 universities and campuses in the country. Last year AIESEC in UON had the second most number of exchanges in the African Growth Network.

OUR PROGRAMS AIESEC in Kenya also gives the chance for companies and organizations to satisfy their HR needs for their CSR initiatives by providing international volunteers, with a global mindset, to take these CSR projects to the next level. 6-12 weeks

We are expanding our Global Talent program to provide startups with the opportunity to connect with high-potential talent to help businesses grow and expand across new markets. Offering startups a chance to connect with some of the most promising young talents. 3-4 months

FINANCIAL LITERACY & IT FORUM

The purpose of the event is to showcase the various products of what AIESEC offers; Exchange and Leadership, the relevance of these products in modern worlds and how these products create an impact within our society. It also serves as an informative session for those who would like to go on exchange during the summer holidays. Financial Literacy and Information Technology (FLIT) Forum will be a three day conference (Wed – Fri) in which the delegation, consisting of young students across all campuses in Nairobi, will be advised and guided on financial sustainability by key note speakers and influential companies. Seeing that the path through which the world is heading is laden with Information Technology, FLIT Forum is a platform for the youth to learn about the different ways they can benefit financially from this tech-savvy wo

DAY1 Frank Ireri Mr. Frank M. Ireri, EBS, has served as Group Managing Director, Executive Director of Housing Finance Ltd. since July 2006. He is Banker. He joined from Barclays Bank of Kenya where he was Head of Barclay Card Africa, covering Kenya, Botswana, Zambia, Mauritius, Seychelles and Egypt. Prior to this, he worked with Citibank and Commercial Bank of Africa. During his banking career, he has had international exposure in Poland, Sri Lanka and Zambia. He is a Counsel Member of AIESEC and previously held the role of Chairman to the AIESEC Board of Advisors. Between 2001 and 2002, he was Chairman of the Kenya Institute of Bankers. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a CPA certification. Moreover,he also serves as Member of the Risk Management Committee, Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Member of the Board Strategy Committee of the Company. David Kinyua David holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nairobi as well as various banking and investment certifications. David is in infrastructure and real estate projects across the region. He resigned as Regional MD of Stanbic Inv. to run Esham Park to date. He started off his career with Citibank Investments in Europe before moving to Stanbic in a career that spanned 13 years. David will be sharing his experience as a successful entrepreneur and his journey to wealth creation especially in real estate and infrastructure. He is also an AIESEC alumni.

Rose Sang Rose Sang is a Board of Advisor member of AIESEC in UON with a vast experience in human resource spanning a rich career from KPMG, Finlays, KQ and Qatar airways. She has also consulted at Nielsen and EY where she is currently.

PANEL DISCUSSION: “Our Role in the Africa We Want”

We all have important roles to play. Major institutions from governments, business, academia and media increasingly take proactive measures to become change makers. In this session, we will discuss how totally different institutions: from corporates, stateparastatals, civil societies, industry leaders and Embassies take a leading role as change makers. Speakers engage the delegation on initiatives they have undertaken to bring about change within their environments.

He has received several awards, including the Best Agency Award in 2011 and wasnamed Top 40 under 40 Business Daily Award Winner 2015
