Founder’s Message With a single Bedford truck, we commenced our journey way back in the early 1960s. This was the time when transporting goods by roads meant driving through single carriageways. With the phenomenal growth in the infrastructure of roads, goods transportation by road has grown to over 90% of the total volume of the country. Bashir Siddiq Goods Transport Company has come a long way since, evolving into the BSL Group – one of the largest logistics players in Pakistan. BSL is testimony to our perseverance and adaptability to rise to the challenge of leadership. Thanks to our valued customers, BSL will continue to evolve as the single largest logistics group in the private sector. Looking back into our history, we believe there is one single factor responsible for our growth and success – our customer’s trust. Indeed, it has been our customer’s trust in us that has been fueling our drive, every single day. With an efficient and effective road distribution network, BSL is fully confident of not only meeting but exceeding our growing customer needs, With the biggest fleet deployment in Pakistan, we have diversified into key areas of logistics related operations: cold chain logistics, liquid cargo, storage and distribution. And engineering – the backbone that ensures reliability of our continuous operations. In all this change and progress, one thing remains constant as our prime mover and motivation – The trust that BSL has earned from you – our valued customer. Sheikh Mohammad Siddiq (Late)

The realization that professional supply chain management and its continued efficiency in deployment makes or breaks an enterprise’s success is at the heart of the BSL Business Philosophy. The first generation at BSL initiated a concept, The second generation realized it, and the third generation will advance it in style, confidence and through unbeatable service. Sheikh Mohammad Arshad
Half a Century of Local Experience… The story of BSL ‘s evolution is the story of evolution of road transport in Pakistan. A developing country in Asian context, challenged with life realities of underdeveloped infrastructure, a large population driving the ever growing need for vital cargo movement, concentrated industry and a vast expanse of distances to cover. The road transportation in Pakistan is rich in culture. Pakistani trucks with distinct hand made art, embellishments and decorative colors have been the subject of many publications and international exhibitions. A vast road network spread over many distinct regional customs, languages, and traditions means that travel through our land is going through a journey of rich experiences. It is in this time-honored tradition, deep rooted in the culture of roadside food, rest and constant toil of hard-working people and sounds of laboring machines, BSL has worked hard, created its place and gained acceptance as a capable, familiar, and road worthy name.
