We are a multidisciplinary ďŹ rm specializing in design. We believe in a design approach to solving problems and we apply this thinking to all our solutions. For over 20 years we have designed and created innovative new enterprises, brands, products and product lines, marketing programs, value chains, business models, corporate turnaround and modernization initiatives, events, communication and brand collateral, publications, work and living spaces - delivering highly innovative and customized solutions to speciďŹ c requirements. Brand and Communication Design It takes a clear and compelling communication design strategy to make a visual impression, to create a distinct recall – and it takes a complete understanding of each dimension of business to create and apply design in every area to create a total image. A new generation truck body In 2002, we developed a whole range of sleek commercial vehicle bodies, that have become a common sight on Pakistani roads. The new bodies are sleek, mount on original fittings, lightweight, and rattle free, and made of composite materials.
Sustainable Transportation Out of a childhood dream, the product design and development exercise spread over 1991-1999, a modern, lightweight, and futuristic vehicle was realized within the limitations of a developing country. From a clean sheet of paper concept to fully working concept prototypes – powered with Lombardini engines form Italy – we developed, tested, and exported fully developed prototypes to our engine partners for application testing – as one of the few successful attempts at automotive design in the country of Pakistan.

Heavy trailers
In 2001, we designed a sleek, lightweight cargobox for TCS. It replaced the heavy and noisy metal fabricated box. It also introduced our patented easy on/off roller-latch-lock system and enabled TCS to modernize its entire courier riders team. In due course several thousand of these boxes were produced.
In 2011, we designed a full range of heavy road trailers and tank trailers. We also developed double deck trailers – an industry first for Pakistan.
Disaster-response housing and fast-track construction In the late 2005 earthquake in northern region of Pakistan, several thousand housing and public buildings collapsed. We developed eight-eight® prefab construction system. Made of man-portable 8 feet by 8 feet panels, the kit-of-parts building system allowed fast track onsite assembly of buildings in various configurations. Factory based offsite production meant that several hundred buildings could be made in a short span of time, and over 600 were deployed in a short span of time.
Product and Industrial Design It takes creativity, innovative thinking, and deep understanding of the form, function, the technical and engineering dimensions to create new products. In the period spanning over 20 years, we have created a range of new products working on own and client’s ideas. We will be rolling out our product and industrial design services in year 2015 through our Dubai based studios to global market. Global Expansion Strategy and Roadmap - 2003 This roadmap visually identified all key assets and leverag-able assets for TCS's global expansion plan. The plan was used for the subsequent expansion to Middle East, Europe and the Americas.
Value Chain Visual - 2010 This visual chart identifies the key activities by each function in the value chain of a pre-engineered steel construction enterprise. The scope of this exercise included entire business process re-engineering and business process documentation. It also included creation of all business forms and templates. The completed exercise created over 90% of framework for subsequent SAP B1 implementation.
Point of Contact 2001 Under this ambitious program, conceived and designed by us, in 2001, TCS modernized and revamped its vital service touch points with customer. As a large and geographically spread organization, with over 3500 employees at the time, the effective delivery of POC plan meant its wide internal marketing to change the service culture and assimilate the innovative new technologies. The program was marketed with a signature infographic poster showing the essential building blocks and innovative new features in every area. The successful implementation of this plan brought TCS a 40% year upon year revenue growth for next three consecutive years. The firm has also since grown to 10,000 employees by year 2012 and still retains all key building blocks built during the implementation of this POC plan.
