Happy Teachers Day
MURLI MANOHAR SHARMA
Sanskar International Public School I Principal Nokha Bikaner, Rajasthan
In India, September 5 is celebrated as Teachers' Day to honour teachers for their contributions in shaping the life of students. September 5 is also the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna recipient Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was the first Vice President and second President of India post Independence. He was born on September 5, 1888. One of India's most distinguished twentieth-century scholars of comparative religion and philosophy, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan also worked as Professor at various Indian and international colleges and varsities like Madras Presidency College, University of Mysore, University of Calcutta, University of Oxford and University of Chicago. His philosophy was based on Advaita Vedanta, its reinterpretation for a contemporary understanding. He defended Hinduism against "uninformed Western criticism", contributing to the formation of contemporary Hindu identity. His reinterpretation of understanding of Hinduism earned him a reputation as a bridge-builder between India and the West.
Radhakrishnan also reinterpreted Indian philosopher Adi Shankaracharya's notion of 'Maya'. According to Radhakrishnan, 'Maya' is not a strict absolute idealism, but "a subjective misperception of the world as ultimately real." Dr Radhakrishnan was also one of the founders of Helpage India, a non-profit organisation for elderly underprivileged in India. Why Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday is celebrated as Teachers' Day? Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan believed that "teachers should be the best minds in the country". When he became the President of India (1962–1967), some of his students and friends requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday, on 5 September. He replied, "Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if September 5th is observed as Teachers' Day." His birthday has since been celebrated as Teachers' Day in India. On this day, students would organise special programs at school and colleges to pay respect to their teachers. In some schools, students of senior classes would take the responsibility of teaching junior classes in order to show their appreciation for the teachers. SEPTEMBER 2020 - 002

Educational Leadership SOME TIPS FOR SCHOOL PRINCIPALS WHO CURRENTLY FACE THE CHALLENGES AND COMPLEXITIES OF THE ROLE, AND THOSE WHO MIGHT BE THINKING OF STEPPING UP. School principals are bombarded daily with the constant attack of urgent demands and pressures upon their time, energy and resources. The challenges and complexities of principal ship, and the demands of standards, school reforms and accountability require exceptional coping skills and can tax the most experienced principal. The characteristics of successful school leaders Successful school leaders of the 21st century must be passionate, dedicated, hard working, resilient, and knowledgeable about theories of learning and child development, and, most importantly, able to work successfully with all kinds of people to competently manage the complex business of schooling. It also helps to be positive, charismatic, dynamic, courageous, credible, enthusiastic, caring, compassionate and inspirational.
Successful school leaders: Communicate clearly the school’s vision and mission to students, parents and staff members foster standards of teaching and learning that are high and attainable provide clear goals and put in place sound approaches that enable teachers and students to monitor learning progress and the steps required to meet learning goals are informed in their actions by principles of doing what is right --recognize that teaching and learning is their main business and the main business of the school . spend time in the classroom interacting with students and observing teachers. foster and promote a culture of trust and sharing. Distributed leadership School leaders who build a powerful and an engaged teaching team that takes ownership enable both their staff to grow and the work of schooling to be shared. In the long run, replacing a command and control approach with a distributed model of leadership makes leading easier since it draws on the collective wisdom, skill and experience of many rather than few. When teachers have a clear vision of where they are going, they are more likely to get there and effectively communicate to the destination to students and their parents. Such setting of appropriate goals, of course, depends on the positive, professional relationship principals build with their teachers by truly listening to them. Building a community of learners Creating a community of learners is a crucial element of school leadership. The key to the effective professional growth of teachers is the relationship they develop with their principal and, as a result, with their teaching colleagues. The quality of the collegial relationship will reflect the quality of teaching, the character of the school and the academic, social and other outcomes of students. Principals need to value, model and engage in learning if they are to build a community of learners in their school. SEPTEMBER 2020 - 004
Visible and accessible : A successful principal expects their teachers to be active in the way they deliver teaching and enable learning, and the same holds true for principals themselves. The message when a principal is highly visible, present and connected to staff and a student is that the top leadership priority is teaching and learning. A principal who is hardly seen and doesn't know the students sends a message that teaching and learning is someone else's business. A successful principal is accessible to teachers. An open-door policy may seem to be time consuming, but a principal who claims to support a distributed leadership model but sits behind a closed office door remains unable to draw on the collective wisdom, skill and experience of staff. It is vital that principals 'walk the talk'. Proceed with care : Every school has its own culture - its unique traditions, celebrations and programs - many of which are the result of the work of the incumbent principal. When a new principal arrives, the desire to reform on the part of the principal - and potentially the desire to resist on the part of staff can lead to damaged working relations, and to damage of the school's culture. This is not to say that a new principal ought not to initiate change, since change may be drastically needed, but change ought to follow a careful assessment of the purpose of particular traditions, celebrations and programs, and the consequent need for change. Enable teaching A key management role for principals is to ensure that teachers are able to teach and students to learn. Principals need to enable teaching and learning by managing the regulatory requirements placed on schools. Successful principals’ support teaching and learning by identifying ways to reduce teachers' administrative duties and reduce interruptions to the school program and
by maintaining the infrastructure required for teaching and learning to take place. Only reflect Reflection is essential not only to enable principals to identify problems, canvas issues with staff and identify promising paths to resolution, but also for their own mental health and survival. Time for reflection is, of course, likely to be in short supply, especially when the open-door approach means a staff member or angry parent is likely to arrive on your doorstep. It's important to make time for reflection, potentially with a mentor or supportive critical friend or local group of likeminded principals. High expectations Since principals play a crucial role in building and maintaining school culture, they must hold high expectations for students, staff and themselves .This involves not only modeling behavior but also identifying traditions, celebrations and programs that recognize those who meet high expectations. A skilled and professional school Academic Director with 20 years of progressive experience and accomplishments as a teacher and an administrator through strategic planning, curriculum design; effective staff interaction & communication, defining quality assessment of educational processes; development and conduction of teacher empowerment programs; leading team of academicians for organizational vision & mission and managing support plans.

DISPELLARS OF DARKNESS Role of Teachers during Covid-19 Pandemic Guru is a word that has innate meaning in itself as ‘dispeller of darkness’. I believe during these troubled times, all the teachers have become the dispellers of darkness. When the news channels give us the horrid images of corona cases, parents have sometimes become horrified and scrupulous in treating the young ones. Here comes our role as teachers. We give them hope of good times. We assure them that difficult times are not forever and this too will pass away. We share the success stories of human kind on various pandemics that shook the world. Science and Technology has achieved its supremacy in the 21st century and it will surely find a way out of this cruel corona. We give them this faith in human intelligence and Science and Technology. We explain the process of making vaccines to the students. When discuss these things they will get convinced and they believe. We dispel the fears and fill our students with courage and hope.
Most of us have become techno savvy to handle the online classes. Technology has become ubiquitous these days. Education needs to be complemented with the new trends in technology. We explain our efforts to them. While taking online classes, our interactions, filled with hope and positivity, will save them from various diversions and distractions and remove unwanted fears and anxiety. As we enlighten our students, we need to do the same with parents too. We talk to the parents in smaller groups and spread hope. Thus we lend emotional support to students, which balances the turbulence that is created during these gloomy times. We become true ‘dispellers of darkness’ of fear and ignorance. Let this be our vision and mission during this Covid 19 Pandemic Days. Let us believe that we are the warriors with the weapons of knowledge and shields of compassion. Dr. Ch. Inna Reddy

CORONA VIRUS AND TEACHING
Have you ever grown a sapling of your own? Put in a couple of seeds in the ground. Watered the seeds regularly. Seen the seeds grow into saplings. Seen the saplings grow. Turn into a plant. Seen the plant grow and grow until it reaches a point when you stop watering it. Yet, it kept on growing on and on and turned into a tree. Have you? Ever? I don't really think, anyone of you would have ever done that. Even if some of you might claim to have done these but you must have stopped in between for sure. That's what makes out a difference between you (a normal human) and us (the teachers). I'm sure, by now, you must have become confused. Let me make things easier for you. For us, plants are nothing but children, students, the youth of our country, and our future, and that water we sprinkle upon them is EDUCATION.
When we plant a seed, we make sure it's taken well care of. The more care we take, the great quality they become. The same happens with students. When a child is small, it requires immense care and support. That's the time when a child transforms into a student. Teaching and studying have always been there from the starting of the world, even without the terms. Like a seed keeps growing with adequate amount of water and sunlight, a kid keeps growing with education and knowledge. Teaching has always prevailed with us whether we like it or not. Parents are sunlight and teachers are water for students as seeds. Like the sun has always been there to provide nutrients for the growth of a seed, parents have always been the major source of education in a kid's life. May it be in the form of constant support, inhibiting values, immense care, etc. SEPTEMBER 2020 - 007
Same way, like water keeps pouring in as much nutrients from the soil and helps majorly in the physical and internal growth of a seed, a teacher always keeps igniting a child with all sorts of knowledge into his bright mind. A teacher is a source. The more you dig deep into his mind, the more knowledge you get. Like water is always there to provide as much nutrients required, teachers are always there to teach you as much as you can accept and take you through a wonderous journey on everything. Every child will always have a teacher to gain knowledge from. Cause, teaching and learning never stop. And by teaching, I don't want you to get confused with only the ones in classrooms in formal attires classified as "TEACHERS". By using the word teacher, I want you to think of a person who has taught you some sort of lesson in your lifetime. Someone, who at some point of time came to your life, contributed even a drop to make you what you are today. Someone, who's the reason of your growth, and sometimes degradation too. That's what teaching is defined to me. But, while the growth of a plant, when it's attacked by some sort of parasite, does it stop growing? Or does it's life stop suddenly? Neither, right? Maybe, some. But, not all. That's because even after the damage, the plant keeps getting water and sunlight. Enough to keep growing. Even when the entire world is encountering an invisible monster among themselves, has the watering stopped? NO. As I said, teaching and learning go on. No matter what the circumstance is. When a plant gets damaged, that doesn't mean it doesn't recover and come back. Rather, when it is damaged yet it returns back, it becomes a fighter in disguise. To have dealt with such an adverse situation, is a victory. And watering the plant under such condition, is a cherry on top of a cake.
Education doesn't always have to be under four walls with couple of students sitting infront of a "TEACHER". It is about the exact opposite of it. Coronavirus has been a disaster in all our lives for more than five months now. But, isn't life going on? Has the clock, stopped ticking suddenly? No. Life goes on. We face stuffs. We deal with stuffs. We get used to stuffs. And we move on. That's one of the major lessons we've been taught till date. So, that's what we do. But, does teaching stop? No. It's a never ending loop. Like oxygen and carbon dioxide are still there in our environment, education still prevails. Like every living being inhales and exhales these gases, every individual keeps on teaching and learning, no matter what the situation is. Knowingly or unknowingly. Well! It might not be within four walls of schools and colleges. But, does it even matter, where? We humans have been structured to deal with stuffs and keep hustling. We teach, we learn and we hustle. Education is inevitable. We gain it everyday. We share it everyday. Just like, a plant overcomes the damage caused to it and keeps growing to become a tree, a student keeps overcoming obstacles, may it be coronavirus, and grows to become a responsible citizen of the country. And life goes on. Teaching and learning go on in every situation, come what may. Ranjan Kumar Pattanayak

Changing concept of 21st century leadership with respect to Emotional values and Ethics. From medieval times to modern era of technology boom, from powerful kings to today’s Presidents and Prime Ministers, from gurukul systems to smart class methodologies, one fundamental that prevailed since centuries is the idea and need to govern and run society systems via strong leadership governance. As we evolved with time, the fundamental leadership traits and capabilities pivoted around the emotional and ethical value systems encompassing a broader preview of driving systems around in a progressive mode. From the old time laureate economist Chanakya who coined ‘Arthashastra’, giving birth to Indian economics to Indian Prime Minister Mr.Modi, who evolved as a global leader, one element that can be traced similar is the exhibition and adherence of leadership trait cushioned by Emotional and Ethical DNA. ‘In the happiness of his subjects lies his happiness, in their welfare , his welfare, whatever pleases himself, he shall not consider as good, but whatever pleases his subjects he shall consider as good’,
rightly quoted by chanakya, a philosopher and economist who was also the chief advisor to both emperors of India – Chandragupta and his son Bindusara. Being a leader you need to think of the people around you, as that is one of the essential qualities of successful leader. There is no denying the fact that the concept, leadership with respect to emotional values and ethics is evolving with time. If we try to understand Chanakyas’ ‘Arthashastra’, we would understand the detailed duties of a leader which must keep evolving with time to maintain a balance between leadership duties and keeping emotional values and ethics in mind. His vision was so ahead of time that it is relevant even today. According to chanakya a good leader realizes that his/her preferences come later to their all need of organization. A great leader must give due consideration to the needs of his employees and keep them happy. LEADERSHIP WITH RESPECT TO EMOTIONAL VALUES AND ETHICS: Certain leadership qualities never go out of style. The ability to connect with and inspire others makes for great leaders across generations. People with exceptional emotional intelligence can thrive in this new world of adaptive leadership, and aren’t restricted to just one type of leadership. Though the qualities of a good leader don’t change, the way we view leadership does __ and that’s a good thing. Then come those days when we used to apply directive leadership styles keeping authoritative techniques to get results. The fundamental quotient of emotional values and ethics used to take a back seat and professionalism used to rule the domain. The major challenges in such autocratic leadership trait was to maintain consistency and further growths in output goals as whole heartedly involvement of employees was never exhibited in such environmental scenarios.
SEPTEMBER 2020 - 012
A leader needs to be understanding than judgmental. If a leader understands his people around and also understands their needs many emotional problems get resolved. The times have changed now but the idea of leadership still remains the same. If you go back in history, you would realize that the best of leaders in the world were not the ones who dictated their terms on others but they were the ones who were just and empathetic towards their team and people. Though the basic qualities of a leader remain the same years after years but the styles in leadership do change with changing times and be it so as change is the only constant. The evolution of leadership traits and practices in 21st century stems from the very fact that we need now more concrete, everlasting and competitive results with the advent of development and competition mushrooming across sectors and fields. The employers and organization have understood the core hearteous involvement of each employee for incremental outputs rather than treating hired professionals as bound to work machines. Even employees look for inspiring leaders who care for their overall well-being and give respect and weightage to their emotional feelings and value systems. There are examples galore across industries and sectors where superlative results were attained by simply fine creasing the very emotional quotient of each and every employee via workshops, 360 degree feedbacks and devoting time for fruitful real time conversations with senior leaders on the very essence of emotional stage and feelings of employees. Various online surveys were designed to open up emotional fiestas on the stress levels and mind condition of employees. It’s time for leaders who can drive results keeping in mind the emotional ethic and values. The trick of the trade is to strike an appealing balance between emotional leadership and professional leadership.
It’s time to amalgamate these two forms coining a concrete EMOTIONAL LEADERSHIP model that reflects a perfect blend of both the forms. The art is to switch gears as the situation demands and drive the employees both emotionally and professionally yielding mindboggling outcomes. An elevated leadership form that was quoted by the CEO of a leading pharma during his annual address in All India Managers meet is highly commendable. The shout to all managers from the stage by honorary CEO was to exhibit SERVANT LEADERSHIP. The appeal was to serve employees as if you are their servant helping supporting and doing that extra mile at various endeavors of professional journey. The word seems exaggerated as you might react but the basic genesis lies in degree of high octane results organization can incur following servant leadership styles. It gives an opportunity to shed bossy egos and whole heartedly serve colleagues…during thick and thin... How one leads the team during tough times reflects the true character and if adapt to adopt this leadership trait, all challenges and hindrances can be easily subdued and conquered. The onus to imbibe emotional leadership lies on self shoulders. Would like to suggest few actionables to transform this leadership art form across are : 1. Coaching employees via leading from the front…. Set self examples of demonstrating ethical virtue leadership in workplace and beyond to make them realize and adapt the nuances of the virtue. 2. Open transparent discussions on the subject seeking feedbacks on individuals leadership style and how it benefitted the entire process or improvement gaps if identified. 3. Inculcate space and time for 360 degree feedback discussion where both the coach and coaches give frank feedbacks about each other strengths and improvement areas.
SEPTEMBER 2020 - 013
4. Emotional leadership to succeed more productive emotional leadership via passing on this style to employees across creating a constructive robust leadership environment empowering colleagues to behave as self sufficient Emotional Leaders. Prime Minister Mr. Modi truly exemplifies early quoted Emotional and servant leadership attributes as inspiration of being at the helm of nation affairs he address himself as PRADHAN SEVAK (Head Servant). A true version of taking emotional/servant leadership to a new dimension. Let’s coin it as EX-CEEDERSHIP out futuristic version of leadership and hence Indian Prime Minister is ahead of time winning accolades and hearts of masses and classes. Both Chanakya and Indian Prime Minister Mr. Modi mimic the fundamental elements of emotional values based leadership attributes. Chanakya played his role as a chief advisor showering his words of wisdom to two generations of Maurya dynasty (Chandragupta and Bindusar) via apt demonstration of polished leadership skills sets. If we draw a analogy, Prime Minister Mr. Modi reflected almost similar ideologies as he also won million hearts through strong decision making abilities and leadership drives. To summate the need of the hour is to understand the sense of urgency and seamless transformation of leadership essence to a more constructive, flexible and emotional centric Emotional – Servant – Exceeder ship. As we march in the new era of 21st century the coined TRAIT will yield revolutionary constructive result enabling to build any nation on a strong foot hold of value based powerhouse mechanism wherein each individual will be self sufficient of leading self and further rubbing shoulders with many to become self exceeders, With emotional behaviors being the brick and mortar of the exceeder ship. Influence of Teachers on their students during pandemic. The influence teachers have on our children has and always will shape the world. Therefore, logically, the more we invest in teachers, the more our students will thrive, and the more our communities will improve and innovate. During COVID-19 related school closures, the creative ways in which teachers around the world are bringing excellent online experiences to students is clear evidence of the magnitude of teacher power. ‘They haven’t allowed learning to stop.’ So, as teachers focus on students, let’s not forget to focus on teachers. As educators, we all hold dear those few and far between quiet moments when we can catch our breath and reflect. The start of the New Year i.e. March,is one of those rare times. We want to be sure to recognize and celebrate the most powerful force in education: the special connection between teachers and students. SEPTEMBER 2020 - 014
It is the special connection—the magic—that happens between teachers and students that is at the heart of student learning. It is the centerpiece of school success: a teacher forming a bond with a student, triggering the student’s desire to learn, and guiding it in the right direction. Every big success we have as a teacher grew out of that teacher-student bond. And so did every big success we had as a student. Think about your biggest successes in school. Now think about your strongest teacher-student bond. Are these two related? I would bet they are. A powerful teacher-student bond is not just something that is just comfortable and fun. That can make a teacher or a class likeable or popular, but not powerful. The power of the connection starts with setting high expectations and important goals— when adults tell kids: “I respect you enough to push you.” Of course, goals and encouragement are not enough to make the most of this bond. At some point, you need success. We, teachers come to know that the students, appealing to their interests, and guide them in tackling significant tests and trials. Students’ success in difficult time, but do-able work builds their self-confidence. It builds their trust in their teacher. It shatters limits. And, it is happening across the country. All of the educators, along with their school colleagues, are creatively tapping into technology to better know, understand and engage their students. In these classrooms, technology fosters the teacher-student connection. It doesn’t replace it. We also see meaningful teacher-student connections happening in high schools in cities. The teachers now have completely reorganized their day to allow for large blocks of time to work closely with groups of students in research, science experiments, writing workshops and more. They also use their new schedule to meet with parents and students together during the school day.
Teachers who are using the tools to conduct online classes, say that their kids are doing better work against higher standards and loving it!There is no doubt that the teacher-student connection is at the heart of learning. It’s what we are seeing in districts and classrooms across the country. It’s what we all know from personal experience. And, it’s why the teacher-student interaction is at the heart of our work shows, our commitment is as strong as ever for supporting teachers in having what they need to form a powerful connection with their students. We’re so looking forward to the upcoming year! I am Vaishali Biswas a Post Graduate in Language I.e. English. I am serving at Delhi Public World School Nimbahera, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan as Academic Coordinator. Thank you. God bless! Vaishali Biswas.

The New National Education Policy 2020Is there a problem?!
More than three decades after the first Education Policy of 1986 emerges the Third and New National Education Policy of 2020, with an agenda to improve the Quality and credibility of education for new India. Let’s focus on the sweeping changes in school education, unquestionably founded by taking expert opinions into consideration, it is not only refreshing but also the need of the hour. Here are the key features: • The new pedagogical and curricular structure (5+3+3+4) corresponding to 3 to 8, 8 to 11, 11 to 14 and 14 to 18 age group respectively. This implies that Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) as we knew it earlier will have a formal structure with a core syllabus as per global standards. • Exams to be held in the 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th standards only, with several relaxations expected.
• The report card will be a 360-degree progress card, that will include music, art, sports and so on dismissing rote learning. • Students will learn to code as early as class 4 mirroring the education system of China. • Vocational training and no bag days, where students will learn hands on from the local carpenters, gardener, artist, potter and so on. This ensures learning a new skill as well instilling a sense of respect for all labour. The Government of India has solicited suggestions from teachers from across the country to implement the policy. As an educator of a unique concept called Theatre in Education (TiE), practicing in Carmel School Padmanabhanagar and its sister concerns Clarence and Florence school for more than a decade, I have applied drama and drama based activities with the students from class 1 to class 10, I can assert with conviction that it has brought about holistic development in the students. Students learn concepts from English Grammar to Math, History to science, where methods and facts are presented through drama-based activities. TiE develops Analytical skills, promotes critical thinking and enables conceptualization of concepts and entities. • It expands imagination and creativity. • Enhances language speaking skills, builds team spirit and empathy while developing the overall personality. • I have even executed it as an effective tool for many a counselling session with high school students. These parameters such as critical thinking, analysis and conceptualization are the very key words used in the NEP. I am sure several schools have engaged in similar endeavors to bring about wholesome education.
SEPTEMBER 2020 - 016
What then is the problem with the NEP?! It has been suggested that the students till class 5 or possibly till class 8 be taught in the mother tongue or local language as it would be the language the child best comprehends. This clearly imitating the policy of the Western and European countries, but point to note is that these countries have only one mother tongue be it German, Italian or French. The underlining effort here is to also preserve the cultural fabric and languages of India. A lesser known fact is that in the last 50 years 220 Indian languages have been lost and as per UNESCO 197 Indian languages are endangered in the present. Though, It is a matter of grave concern. The few challenges we might encounter are: • Every region in India has its own Language, in fact in a few places the language changes within a few kilometers. • The Government has also suggested that the books and downloadable learning material be in local language, a mammoth task in itself. • Bridging the social and economic gap between private and Government schools has also been stated as the priority of the Government. With Karnataka all set to be the first state to implement this policy, a few glaring concerns come to the forefront. Bangalore as we know is a cosmopolitan city, comprising of several settlers from across the country and the world. In fact, many children in the city speak in English at home. This further adds to the predicament of the teacher while addressing a class in a private school. The Rule of Mother tongue is difficult to apply here. Indians who speak English have always had a global advantage. English is a language that enjoys international status and is a common language on all international platforms and forums.
The language has contributed significantly in bringing people and cultures together globally. Parents belonging to the middle and upper middle class ascertain their desire and encourage their children to have a command over the English Language. I believe therefore that the private school will continue to use English as a medium of instruction thereby further increasing the disparities between Government and private schools that defeats the aim of the NEP. It is a known fact that 85 percent of brain development of a child takes place before the age of 6. Hence, children pickup several languages easily. To sum up, the solution to the apparent problem would be to maintain the medium of instruction in English in private schools and teach two other Indian language of choice, while in the Government schools medium can be in regional language while teaching English language from an early age to give the marginalized and students the same advantage. The policy approved by the union government is yet to be debated and discussed in parliament. It is still a policy and not a law. Let’s hope that the positive aspects are worked upon at the earliest as New India embraces a flourishing and propitious future.

Fear: The Root Cause of Unhappiness Our whole world is governed by pain and pleasure principle. In this worldly path everyone demands cheerful and peaceful life according, to their own choice, without knowing what is pleasure and how it last long with us. This happiness is not permanent because the base is ignorance. Ignorance develops hatred with us, hatred supports distance and ego and ultimately it converted into fear because we cannot fit in the society. He very well knows that all the living creatures live their life naturally except human beings, due to ignorance only not for lack of understanding. Every human very well understand that what gives them absolute happiness but he can’t follow the path and satisfy himself that I do not have time, resources, ample opportunity, good situation etc., so I can’t follow the rule of nature. It is a very common and universal truth that our body is made up off 5 elements (Jal, Vayu, Agni, Prithivi, Akash) also end in it, but the point of ignorance is “when our body is completely natural but we live life unnatural.”
The most silly and un-natural part of human life is fear. In layman language fear means afraid by something due to commit any mistake. Remember Fear is just a “mental condition but we make it situation”. It is a psychological process of mind. Fear arises in intellect part. Intellect has two parts one who gives right direction or path and another create confusion and we just wandering in problem that arises fear. Fear varies person to person according to their age, situation, circumstances, living style, environment, nature etc. but the base is ignorance of life. It is darkness of intellect. Fear arises: • by committing mistake. • due to confusion. • due to over expectation. • due to hypertension. • due to greediness. • due to shortage or excess in life. • due to more happiness. • due to laziness. • due to emotion. • due to comparison. • due to uncertainty. • due to some good and bad habit. • due to depression. • due to health problem. • due to avoiding pain and expecting materialist happiness. In all above mentioned point, the common things are lack of understanding, anti natural life and living, and the most important factor is ignorance. There is a very great and good part of human mind is that he can forget every small and big happening of their life also remembering such things which are important for their life. It is a common myth that every situation rules over mind up to 45 minutes, after that it is in our hand whether we have to continue or stick to it. It is god gifted otherwise it is very difficult to survive for everyone in this world. SEPTEMBER 2020 - 018
Today we all are doing accumulation of everything whether money, material, property for future which is uncertain due to that what would happen with us. Fear can create danger in our survival. It is such a slow poison, which destroy the peace of our mind and body in every moment and leads our life nearer pain and even to death to bad passion. Now-a-days due to advancement of technology we reach in the “Moon and Mars but technology cannot give any remedies for fear. Fear lost our present, also lost control on mind and body, sometimes spoil our life. Really, it is a very big problem in this era. In every adverse situation, instead of searching solution, we just block our mind and energy in the problem and fear arises. Spirituality, religious discourses, worship etc. help us to overcome from fear. It is true but result is not satisfactory because we never believe our own potential, gifted by Mother Nature.
Simply to overcome from fear change our attitude: think positively, do correct work, never cheat others, believe in ownself, not to be over confident and make our life simple and sober. In very simple words all good works lead good result. Just make life simple and transparent is the solution of every psychological problem which is created by human himself. One thing we all have remember that Mother Nature has provided all the things to us and taking a lot of care of us but we the human being can’t love her because we cannot love ourselves due to ignorance. The positive part of fear is, to make us cautious, about our past mistakes. Ms. Kiran Chaubey

TOWARDS A NEW ERA IN EDUCATION Swami Vivekananda Said “Education is the manifestation of the divine perfection already present in man” so education is something which is there within us it’s just how much we strive for it and how much we desire to learn something new.
Schooling in India, by and large, has fallen into an irrevocable routinism, despite all efforts and recommendations by different commissions and committees. It still continues to be monotonous, cumbersome activity, comprising of mere rote learning, passivity and utter dependence on the teacher. Independent learning eludes pupils at all levels. Fully guided, semi-guided and unguided learning, in that order, is not evolved in a graded way from the lowest to the highest class in a school. Teachers are still unable to change to don the role of facilitators and guides. School bag is still a back-breaking burden. Students are still evaluated on the basis of their bookish knowledge; their creativity is hardly tested. Unless self-activity is seriously taken up and “how to learn” replaces “what to learn”; and “learning to learn” becomes the main concern of teaching-learning process, education would not deliver goods as desired. To attain this, appropriate school plant, organization, structure and well-planned academic activity and scope for experimentation and innovation have to be given priority. This cannot come of its own. Hence, the need to conceive the school as a place of experiential learning and developing pupil personality I don’t believe in learning just for good grades in examinations. A child’s natural instinct is to learn and even if we make conscious effort, we cannot stop them from learning different things that they see and feel around them. The students so efficiently and seamlessly learn the names of the cartoon characters, movie stars, songs, and statistics of players and how to use the latest Android application etc. However, when it comes down to learning for examinations, we find the same students struggling. Try to force a child to learn and he is bound to forget, make learning enjoyable and the child will remember for years and decades. SEPTEMBER 2020 - 021
So, the key is to make learning fun and joyful and this will lead to long term retention of knowledge. I believe in meaningful nurturing of children, we should focus on discovering, developing and bringing out the hidden talents that are potentially lying dormant inside all students. The academics and co-curricular activities should be so designed that determination and an unputdownable spirit are well-established in the heart of every student. Focus in not only making them good performers but also brilliant human beings. In today’s dynamic world, a 360-degree development and grooming are of supreme importance. We have to understand that in schools we are creating an environment for the future leaders, entrepreneurs and professional who possess skills and aptitudes in an array of functional discipline. We must take conscious effort to establish a sense of pride in each and every student of being an Indian and of their rich cultural heritage. Modernization is not westernization; it is more about self-discovery and creation of new knowledge and its application for the benefit of our society. Innovation doesn’t happen under pressure, so stress free education is the way towards producing more innovators. I am very happy that the New education policy is talking about value-based education combined with modern teaching-learning methods to produce a generation of well informed and emotionally sound future citizens. I am extremely positive that in times to come we will continue this journey with elevated enthusiasm and persistently provide a platform of holistic learning to the young generation of learners. The flexibility regarding choice of subjects, promised by the new education policy, can do wonders if implemented properly.
I firmly believe that every child has the potential to make a difference in this world. Enhancing learning, building leadership and fostering 21st Century skill- sets of ‘creativity’ and ‘adaptability’ should be the cornerstone of every initiative. We have to adopt the culture of open interactive inquiry-based learning, where the child’s natural quest for learning leads the whole learning process and knowledge is not thrust upon them forcibly. Leadership skills are developed by entrusting children with tasks and responsibilities. Several platforms should be provided to the students to discover and develop their unique gifts and talents. The Classrooms will be transformed into ‘Think rooms’ and the walls into ‘Learning walls. In schools the child explores multiple avenues of gaining knowledge and education is not merely restricted to the pages of the book or within four walls of the classroom. The different domains of the child e.g. Cognitive (Mind), affective (Heart), Conative (impulse) and psychomotor (Physical skills) should be carefully groomed to develop a holistic personality of the child. Schools should be able to give a child experiences to cherish for the rest of his/her life. I am hopeful that the new education policy will bring about the changes in the education system we all were waiting for. At least it is the first step taken towards a new era in Education. THE NEED FOR EMOTIONAL LITERACY IN CHILDREN Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all said Aristotle the great Greek philosopher many centuries ago. When have we last heard of ten and twelve year olds becoming a victim of depression? When have we witnessed young children displaying extreme aggression and violent behaviour so often as seen in the past decade or more? Doctors treating children for anxiety, disruptive behaviour, loneliness and low self-esteem are all common issues now with children. Desperation, recklessness, impulsiveness and extremely low levels of attention span only add to the list of woes of worried parents who seem to have run out of ideas or any logic for the behaviour of their children. What can we do about it? What changes can we bring about in them to help them live a much happier and a less stressful life? How is it that we have seen children with modest IQ do well in life while those with a high IQ seem to flounder or fail in life?
What factors are at play when it comes to the most important terms like happiness, success and managing relationships effectively? The difference often lies in what we call Emotional Intelligence. This includes Self-Awareness, Self-Control, Empathy, the ability to Motivate oneself and Social skills. And, yes, all these skills can be taught to children, giving them a much better chance at living a better life. So, if we need our children to be more responsible, more harmonious, display better self-control, exhibit better conflict-resolution skills, be more pro-social and helpful, show more compassion, be more considerate and concerned and be able to understand others better, then, it’s time we really paid attention to EQ and not really make a big fuss about IQ all the time. After all, with enough scientific research about Emotions, there is enough logic to back the fact that EQ can certainly matter more than IQ.

Need of the Hour! If we look at our country today , what do we see ? That , even though we are standing in the 21st century and have made tremendous advancement in technical field, the political parties still have the last word in our day to day affairs ! They are still our Masters and we behave as if we are subservient to them! If that’s not the case, then why is it that they bait us on religious grounds? Is Religion such an obnoxious, pernicious time bomb- just waiting to be detonated ? I’ll tell you why - because of our ignorance about what our Religion wants to convey us . Is our vocabulary about our holy text up to the mark? Can we write a 2 mark answer explaining the meaning of a verse ? Can we confidently attempt some MCQs on some important dates pertaining to our religious text? If NO is your answer, then, in the forthcoming elections, nay, in years to follow, the politicians are going to bait on us and the corrupt media would use us for their TRPs!
The way out? Well, there is one master plan- adding a detailed study on the major religions of the World in the school curriculum. The more inquisitive ones can study the other religions too. Your brows already knitted? I’m not surprised. But let me ask you one single, simple question- if you can distinguish between Science and Superstition today, what made you capable of doing this? Knowledge of Science, isn’t it? Don’t you think the Knowledge of the salient features of the major religions can blunt the weapon of Religious Intolerance? Remember Spirituality is the foundation of this civilization and the various Religions are its manifestations. It’s high time we say, Halla Bol!

Importance of Social Science as a Subject Have you ever wondered why do we learn history, geography, civics, and economics? Well, let’s try to understand this. When you go to a doctor for any illness, the first thing the doctor would ask you when did this happen, how etc. They study our past, diagnose our present to solve our present and future problems. Here, comes in the importance of History. History is nothing but a study of the past. We need to know our history to have a good present and a wonderful future. History not only tells us about our past but also unifies us with our ancestors and belongings. Now, wonder a pilot flying a beautiful aircraft but isn’t aware of the geographical terrains or a builder wanting to construct your house but isn’t aware of the land and soil of that area…What would be the result??A Disaster. Hence, geography teaches us about the environment we live in and ways to adapt to environment.
Let’s imagine one more situation, you wish to visit a mall, but you aren’t allowed to as you belong to a particular category or You wish to study in a particular school but not allowed to do so!!! What would you do? Civics will tell you what to do. Civics tell us all about our rights, duties our constitution our citizenship etc. A Greek Philosopher, Aristotle said “Man is a Social animal and cannot live alone”, hence, Social Science not only gives us knowledge but also teaches us to be good citizens by being better decision makers!! History is a parable of the past, Geography is an alliance with our house, Civics is our relation with society and Economics is a union of resources. All this comes from your Social Studies!!! So, children love your social sciences.

Education or Role of teachers Philosophers, great thinkers and educationists have pinned their hopes on teachers to save the world from the impending disaster and to reshape it so as to make it a suitable and happy place for all the people to live in. For, they believe that ‘Teachers will reshape the world.’ If teachers can reshape the world, it is not too much to expect of the educated teachers of India to save the nation from all the evils with which it is afflicted today, even seven decades after independence. India can look forward to its teachers to solve the grave problems like illiteracy at remote places, student attitudes and behaviors, bullying, technology, disharmony by adopting right measures to execute lessons based on practicality of life. Being a teacher involves much more than executing lesson plans. Teaching is a highly sophisticated profession that regularly extends beyond academics. In addition to ensuring the students experience academic success, teachers must also function as mentors, counsellors, assessor, protector, resourcer and even surrogate parents.
Moreover, since teachers are the well trained and qualified people, they have the necessary economic, political and technical information and knowledge along with the necessary managerial skill and expertise to solve the problem of the country. Using the required skills according to the present scenario a teacher should focus on core curriculum content, meeting the needs of vulnerable pupils as well as enhancing student engagement in studies. Once a sincere beginning is made, and students begin to realize and enjoy the concrete benefits of education, they will definitely have hope for a better and brighter future and faith in the leadership of the teachers. Students will, then, be happy to march ahead enthusiastically. Teachers will thus, be able to lead free India to a happy and prosperous future.

COVID TIMES AND TEACHING COVID 19 is a pandemic disease which changes everything and threatens the whole world. Amidst this frightening situation teaching the students through online is really challenging to the teachers. A teacher needs patience and at the same time he can equip with the latest technology. At the same time as we look towards happier and more positive futures, it would be unconscionable not to acknowledge in this issue of the journal the situation in which humankind now finds itself, and to consider the terrible toll that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on people’s lives throughout the world. To those who have lost loved-ones, who have been struck down by the virus, who are without work or at risk of being so, who find themselves stranded in countries far from home, with borders closed, separated from families and friends, and who are suffering loss and anxiety in one or a number of a myriad of other ways – too many to mention – we extend our deepest sympathy and strongest compassion.
And let’s not forget the many Australians who are still rebuilding their lives after the devastating summer fires, and who now have the COVID-19 world phenomenon to deal with. Although it sounds trite to say that we are in this together, this just might generate one of the silver linings that emerges from the current crisis – a reconnection with those around us and a stronger sense of shared empathy and kindness for one another, as well as a greater appreciation for our beautiful planet. The fragility of life has become powerfully evident to us all. Let us all pray the Almighty to overcome this pandemic situation soon and return to normalcy. We all should resume our normal life and do the chores without any external disturbance. Soon our nation should become developed and should fulfill the dream of our Ex President cum scientist Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. K. RAMESH

Teachers Teacher – a word with multiple meanings! It can mean your parents, school or college teachers, friends and even all-encompassing Nature itself! Right from days in womb, a child craves for a teacher –Abhimanyu learnt to enter Chakravyuh while still unborn, with his father – Arjun as his first teacher! From good old Gurukul and Paathshaala days, teachers have been playing a pivotal role in a child’s development. Teachers are ones who nurture children to bring out the best in them and give us cherishable memories for life. They wish their students to be better and more noteworthy than themselves. Examples like Guru Drona – Arjun and Guru Chanakya Chandragupta Maurya epitomize this! Mention of a teacher makes us fondly recollect our formative years. We remember unexciting subjects made interesting by wonderful teachers, exciting subjects made grand by finest teachers and uninteresting subjects we studied only because we liked the teacher!
We smile a bit while recalling the punishment meted out by our teachers – being sent out of class, chalks thrown at us for disturbing the class and reprimanded for not finishing homework or studies. Teachers are someone who work tirelessly and selflessly without complaining with a sole aim of progress for their students. Sometimes, the world judges them and gives them unthankful tags they don’t deserve. Teachers always have to be on their toes for helping enthusiastic students and they are always happy doing it. A student’s success is supreme embodiment of a teacher’s efforts! Likewise, the sweetest memories for teachers are when their students become achievers! Today, when we think of teachers, our heads always bow down with respect and gratitude. To conclude, Sant Kabir has truly rated teachers at a pedestal higher than God Himself:

MANSI SHARMA B.A - Journalism, M.A - Mass Communication TITLE : The glory of a teacher I CATEGORY : Poetry The glory of a teacher is unbounded, without it, the creation is unfounded. One who burns like a lamp himself, ignores darkness from ignorance. Motivates disciples from zero to infiniteness.
Teacher change the lives through his weapon, combination of black-board and chalk fill one's life with loads of colours. Our future would be the outcome of our teacher's endeavours.
Thousands of Educators on the land of India gave a new dimension to the education. Whether they are Vivekananda, Nanak, Buddha, Mahavira, Chanakya or Kalam. All they built a unique foundation for standing our nation's civilization.
It's a notion that teacher's job is easy. It’s not true, teachers give us their present and started being sleazy. Their role must be acknowledged, teaching is the origin of all professions, must be respected.
It is a privilege to be a citizen of such a nation, whose foundation lies in its Vedic education. HEERA NAWAZ TEACHERS IN REAL LIFE As Teacher’s Day on 5th September approaches, I think that teachers have the inordinate capacity and ability to incorporate far reaching positive changes in their students. Being a teacher myself, I am a visionary dreamer and I almost naively endeavour to think that I can be of inspiration to my mischievous, playful but delightfully lovely young students. In fact, so highly do I rate the teaching profession as it has also been called a noble profession that I feel absolutely perplexed why cynics have said, “Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach.” Nonsense! As if to prove that teachers are a cut above, let me cite three movies where the teachers therein have proved to be par excellence. These three movies have made such a deep impact on my mind that I vouch for the fact that second to parents, teachers are the next most influential people in students’ lives. The first movie I can recall is `Mona Lisa Smile’ where the teacher is played by Julia Roberts and at once one feels attracted to her for she puts her personal life on hold in order to be the quintessential teacher. She brings her Art History classes to life with interesting slide shows and visits to exhibition galleries.
The part I liked best in the movie was when the Julia Roberts teachers her students about the artistic genius, Van Gogh, and his famous masterpiece, `The Lilies’, whereupon the next day, all the students come up with their own versions of paintings of lilies. Deeply overwhelmed and with tears stinging her eyes, Julia Roberts leaves the room, knowing that with this class, her teaching has struck home. The next movie which made a deep impact on me is the movie, ‘Educating Rita’, starring Julie Walters as the 26-year-old Rita who is so keen about getting an education that she relinquishes hold on her live-in boyfriend and her opportunity of starting a family. Rita’s teacher is a middle-aged drunkard who is nevertheless good at heart and on seeing her alacrity goes all out to see that he imparts apt lessons on education to her. For example, he tells her that in order for one to be educated one must read voraciously, but this doesn’t mean reading of trash or comics or third rate novels but of good classics and quality newspapers. Last but certainly not the least, the movie that has won every heart since it was released way back in 1974 is the hit movie, `To Sir, With Love’, based on a true story of Mr. Braithwaithe’s experience as a black teacher in a school of predominantly white students. Meeting with initial stiff opposition, Mr. Braithwaithe, played by the irrepressible Sidney Poiter, teaches these students with love and humanism, and he eventually wins them over. Finally, when it is time for him to leave the school, there is a universal outpouring of love when Lulu sings the title song, there being not one dry eye in the audience, `Those school days of telling tales and biting nails are gone, but in my mind they live on and on…….To sir, with love.” Is this a thought elicited for an excellent and inspiring teacher? Without an iota of doubt! Happy Teacher’s Day! SEPTEMBER 2020 - 034

Problems Faced in the Progress of Education in India Education is the most important component out of various components of social infrastructure. The well educated and properly trained manpower can accelerate the pace of economic development. Despite our best efforts, our educational development still remains at a low level. The following are the main problems faced in the progress of education: 1. Lack of funds: The lack of sufficient funds is the main problem in the development of education. Outlay for education in Five Year Plans has been decreasing. Due to insufficient funds most educational institutions lack infrastructure, science equipment and libraries etc. 2. Expensive higher education: University, professional and technical education has become costly in India. Fee structure of technical and professional institutes like IIM’s is quite high IIM’s charge Rs. 5 lakh per semester for MBA classes.
3. Neglect of Indian languages: The medium of instruction particularly in science subjects is English. So rural students who are not well versed in English, cannot study science properly in English. They suffer a lot; Indian languages are still under developed. Standard publications are not available in Indian language. 4. Problem of Brain drain: When intelligent, talented and deserving candidates do not get suitable jobs in the country, they prefer to go abroad for seeking jobs. So our country is deprived of good talent. This phenomenon is called ‘Brain drain’. 5. Problems of primary education: Our primary education is ridden with too many problems. Large number of primary schools has no buildings what to talk of basic facilities like drinking water, urinals and electricity, furniture and study materials etc. Large numbers of primary schools are single teacher schools and many schools are even without teachers. Concluding, we can say that there is quantitative expansion of education but in qualitative development we are still lagging behind.

Experential Learning During recent times, our country has realized the need of experiential learning, rather than mugging up answers and puking them in the examinations. But many of you may wonder, that what is this ‘Experiential Education’. Literally it means Learning through experiences. But now, you will again think that I’m only giving you a mere definition. Well, let’s see an example: What happened when you first tried to walk on your own when you were a baby? Simple, you fell. But you realized that the way you tried to walk was not correct. So, you tried another way, but in vain. At a point of time, your brain started to think and analyzed all of your attempts, and gave you another push to try to walk again. And you did it! No minor feat! Well, this is EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING. You tried, failed, thought, observed and tried it again with your own experience. And the next time you again tried to walk successfully. However, if you think that this system doesn’t apply to school education, lets give you another example: Suppose you are in your school’s chemistry lab and your teacher has to teach you about reaction of water with acids. You are given two beakers, one with acid and one with water.
But your teacher did not tell you anything about this. So, you thought that why not to try it by yourself only? So, you put water in the acid beaker. And KABOOM! the beaker got burst, also burning your lab coat a bit (Please do not try this.). You thought about overnight. The next day, you did a different thing. You put acid into water. Even that was also a hot and boiling scene, but at least, that didn’t burn your lab coat. Now, you learnt that always acid is added to water and not water to acid. Also, you leant that reaction of water with acid is highly exothermic. Now let’s talk about the components of Experiential Learning: 1. Concrete experience: These are the actual activities through which you gain experience. This includes personal as well as professional experiences. 2. Reflective observation: The conclusions, inferences and observations we derive from our experiences. When we ponder about what happened, is called reflective observation. 3. Abstract conceptualisation: When a learner, through the outcomes and observations, extracts the concepts behind it, and makes a list of questions of ‘What Happened, How Happened and Why Happened?’ 4. Active Experimentation: In this stage, the learner on its own tries to perform the same thing with the help of his experience. If she/he gets success, she/he would try something new, otherwise the learning cycle would restart. Lets now move on to some benefits of experiential education. • Accomplishments are obvious i.e. either positive or negative, a learner would always get a result. • Application of knowledge to solve real life problems and challenges. • Hands on learning. • Promotion of teamwork and improvement in communication skills • Preparedness for upcoming exams and interviews, which may involve solving real life problems. • Immediate feedback from learners. • Freedom from heavy bags, bloated textbooks and homework for school children. • Open text-based questions in assessments. There are many advantages, which everyone would like, but these are the main and considerable ones. I think that Experiential Learning is the new educational edge as at the end of the day. ‘’EDUCATION IS NOT PREPERATION FOR LIFE EDUCATION IS LIFE ITSELF’’ SEPTEMBER 2020 - 038

Education "Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." Education is the key to knowledge. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. Education makes us capable of interpreting things among other things. It is not just about the lessons in our textbook that we study but it is something very different as well as very important. Education provides stability in our life and it is something that no one can take from us. It is our birth right. A person who is uneducated can easily get into others before thinking that it is right or wrong and also needs another person to take his own decisions, but the person who is educated can easily make the difference between right and wrong and also doesn't need the
help of anyone in making his own decisions as he is capable enough to take the right decision. Education completely changes us and helps us to see the world from a different and a beautiful sight. Education is not just about the lessons that we learn from our textbooks but it is about the teachings that we learn from our life experiences. Every child whether he is poor or rich has the right to be educated and change his life completely and make it very beautiful. India has a high illiteracy rate so the government of India as well as the citizens of India should take care of the education of every child especially the poor. So at last we conclude that education is very important for us and plays an essential role in changing the life of a person and making it very beautiful.

Covid Times And Teaching A split second can make a drastic shift in our life. September is about to begin and it seems like a whole year of quarantine has passed. No one ever knew such was the fate of the year 2020. For those craving some free time at home – here it is! The initial weeks of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic were a bit hopeful of better times but now it is the new normal. The pandemic had a multi-pronged impact upon the lives of people. It has affected almost each and every aspect of a person’s life. Talking about how the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown has affected teaching, many things had to be improvised for students to be able to study and to prevent any wastage of time. The task of making a transition from physical classroom learning to online learning posed challenges to both the school authorities and the children. India has 37.4 million students enrolled in its private as well as public schools and besides being a mere population, they are human resources and it is vital to take care of these resources.
The immediate decision by the HRD Ministry was to close down schools and colleges. The only alternative was online teaching and it came with a whole bunch of serious as well as contradicting problems. Not all Indian students have proper access to the internet. The infrastructure both at schools and at home wasn’t fully equipped to online methodology. Increased screen time puts strain on the eyes and so the length of the lectures had to be limited. However, online teaching saved the time earlier wasted in commuting and hence provided students a lot of time to devote to household activities, sports and extra curriculars. I strongly believe that no modern technology or methodology of teaching can replace the traditional method wherein physical interaction was there between teachers and students. It helped in better understanding and a connection was build up.

Bitter Happiness. (Motivational story). A boy named Rohan was there. He was in 7th std. He was a naughty boy. He always hates school. If he goes to school than also he would speak rudely to teachers, did mischief etc. He always thinks that his life will be full of fun and he will be very happy if the schools will not there. One day he was saying to his parents that he didn’t want to go to school. But his parents were very strict. They told Rohan that they will not allow such things. Between this argument one message came on the phone. The message was, “From tomorrow schools will remain closed due to Covid-19.” Seeing this Rohan was very happy. After that he was enjoying his holidays. Days went. He was bored now. He was not knowing what to do at home. First time in life he missed his school. After 3 months of holidays he was now no more happy. He wanted that his schools should now start, he should get scolding from teachers, he should do mischief with his friends, etc.
Now he understand the value of school that how schools are important in life. After few days he got the news that online classes will start and school will teach students in that way. The online lessons started. He struggled through few months and knew that the happiness he was waiting for was “Bitter Happiness”. He was now waiting for that when will school start physically and he will be able to meet his friends, his teachers and all. In this Covid-19 he learned the value of school and now he used to do hard work for his next year exams. We all should learn the value of school and should learn something in this pandemic and turn this time into an opportunity and should motivate ourselves doing hard work and can get success.
