Ms. Smita Gandhi Educationist I Academic Consultant I Teacher's Trainer Principal - Iira International School I Education Industry since 1989 NEP..... 10 years hence We may not expect a rapid shift in education within the next decade. But the paradigm shift described (which has begun already) will be gradually adopted .10 years is long time to see major changes. Technology will be most prominent key for the change . The implication of “world is becoming a global village” on education will formulate learning content & will form more unified than before. Today Students are able to access lessons and materials from anywhere around the world means they keep themselves up to date with global trends in their fields of study .Due to technology, we can see many changes are coming our way through out the globe but due to inclusion of technology and increasing of technology integrated education for better learning will bring further change. *Already we can visualize digitization of textbooks &curriculum .Online classes / Webinars / Quiz/ Virtual Awards / E-certificates/ Computer- based Test and Exams are in trend. Growing popularity of online courses will be the concept of major universities to grab more and more students. Augmented &Virtual Reality (AR/VR) technologies are fast gaining grounds and will greatly impact education.

Coding and robotics and in practice and will be instigated with more advance features. In terms of provision of learning aids and doing projects and assignments, 3D printing will make learning speedy and easier Many conventional jobs and methods of working will be discarded for digitized, automated ones. As a result, education will shift from its current method of rote-learning, where students begin learning from the basics and teachers guide Artificial intelligence will play a vital role in development of future education. Education in the next ten years will become more experiential and focused on students being able to gain employable skills. Many research already exposed that present schools teach a lot of unwanted, unnecessary information and change in curriculum will make learning more focused on specific needs than in general. * Major change will be a shift from abstract to practical knowledge. The study will be focused on practical application in a real life situation, reduced paper work and more presentations & teamwork based on extensive knowledge and critical thinking depict “how much they know and how well they can apply it”. Mrs. S. Sumathi M.A., B.ed., BT Assistant in Sri KGS HSS, Aduthurai, Tanjore dt with 16 years of experience. She is a receiver of 'Kalvi Ratna Award' 'Best Teacher Award' and 'Arivuchudar Gandhi Award'. MOTHERHOOD God created a woman on purpose to show strength through grace, comfort and beauty. Motherhood is the experience of giving birth and raising a child. Not only giving birth, adopting and raising a child is also motherhood. The purpose of motherhood is truly becoming less focused on themselves and to teach and love sacrificially their little ones. Motherhood means a lot in a family as love, happiness and contentment. Motherhood is the greatest thing and at the same time the hardest thing. The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness. A mother is a symbol of unconditional love. A mother's love knows no laws. A mother is the protective force of her children tempered with a spine of steel. Children feel a sweet security while they are with their mother. A child's first teacher is her mother and worth a hundred teachers. Every mother is a strong personality and a humble person

without expectations. She is always her child's first friend, best friend and forever friend. Mothers are special because they work hard round the clock without any complaints. They curb their desires to fulfill their family's desires. Even if she is a job goer, she still manages the job and her house. The top qualities of a good mother is love, care, support, respect, forgiveness and patience. God cannot be with all of us in all situations. So he created mother as an optimistic selfless loving character. In every man's life, both mother and wife play prominent roles. A husband finds a second mother in his wife, while a wife finds her first baby in her husband. She can't be a better mother if she can't be a better wife. Mother is the heart beat of a home. Without her, there seems to be no heart throb. Mrs. S. Sumathi

The joy of giving week ‘The joy of giving week’ is India’s ‘Festival of Giving’ week that is observed and celebrated throughout the nation every year from Oct 2nd to Oct 8th. It aims to bring together everybody especially school and college children on a common platform. This one week is an opportunity for everybody to reach out and provide their time, skill, talent and money. This is a largely volunteer - driven festival that encourages every Indian to give in any form. The joy of giving is not a slogan but it is ringing in our heart. It is a pleasant experience. Even though a person has nothing to give, one can devote time, love, concern, care, smile and friendliness that value so much and cost nothing but inspires a lot. A smile on the face has more value than that we expect. At least one can share love to those who long for love and pray for others. One can give positive and encouraging words which give boost and help others to achieve a lot but cost nothing.

It is easy to plant anything in the young minds of the students, so it is the sole responsibility of the parents and teachers to prepare them to do some Good Samaritan role to make others happy. ‘The joy of Giving’ ‘is giving something without expecting anything in return, though return will come in manifold later. The joy of giving week creates awareness in the tender minds of the students. They should understand the meaning of sympathy and empathy and in turn they help the poor or the less privileged than they are. The happiness we receive from giving is far better than the happiness we get from receiving. How many of us know that there is a week especially for this? When so many festivals and days are celebrated in a grand manner, the joy of giving week alone is ignored and not given much importance in the present scenario. The media should also play a role to project it to the public.

OCTOBER 2020 - 004

In this regard the schools in Tamil Nadu take utmost praise-worthy steps in bringing awareness to the school students. Early morning when the students come to school they give a shake-hand with a smiling face to their friends and teachers. They feel it is a golden opportunity. A bright smile appears on the face of the students when they receive numerous handshakes in a day. Obviously the day goes very well. This happiness cannot be expressed in words. Their heart is full of joy. This experience is something different. In all other festivals the students wait to receive gifts from parents, friends and teachers but for this festival alone they wait to offer gifts to others. They never say ‘No’ to anyone who comes for a help. The students are educated to share their experiences to their grandparents and they read newspaper to them who are yearning to listen to something. They serve food and have food along with them and also give medicine. They go to nearby shops happily if they are asked. They stitch their torn clothes of old people with thread and needle. This way the grandparents are happy. In the joy of giving week the students give simple articles or flowers, thanks card, smile to their friends to make them happy. Giving something to the needy and the less privileged is always better. The teacher sometimes takes the students to the old age home, orphanage, visually challenged children’s school and hospital. A piece of crayon brings a lot of happiness in the face of the tiny tots. This act makes the students know and realize how blessed they are and how to use their ability and face the world. They develop a broadmindedness to help others. The students learn a lot of lessons practically. It is like a small movement in the water, but the ripples travel far and wide. All of us have old and useable clothes, book, medicines or toys but do not know what to do.

We can donate these to who need it instead of throwing it as waste. This act will support those who suffer due to lack of clothing, books and toys. While travelling in the bus the students are instructed to offer seat to the elders. It is always happy to stand and travel at the young age, and then only they get balance to lead a balanced life. The students accept it positively in the joy of giving week. The elders who get seat feel very happy. To make the parents happy is very easy. It is just by obeying them without any hesitation and doing whatever they say because parents never say anything wrong. The students compliment parents and teachers for whatever they do, it may be cooking, or wearing clothes, teaching etc. So, the face of the parents and teachers are bright. If the parents and teachers are happy surely the students also will be happy. The students are asked to help the fellow students in all possible ways by helping them solving their problems, explaining difficult sums etc. Each day the students may be asked to write at least two good acts they have done. By the end of the joy of giving week, the student who has performed more number of good acts will be rewarded. In this week the students write letter to their friends, teachers and express their feelings, thoughts and emotions. It is a nice experience to receive a letter from a person sitting in the same bench just nearby then they write a reply letter too. They even write letter to the ones they have never talked and asked sorry for that- this act reconciles their relationship. Compromising with at least one person with whom they weren’t in good terms in this week is a must. By telling the word ‘sorry’ their broken relationship can be mended, as the person on the other side is also waiting to hear this word for a long time. If they are not able to tell, they write an apology and keep it in a note book.

OCTOBER 2020 - 005

The students write verses and articles about teachers to make the teachers happy .In the Joy of giving week the students together meet in one of the students’ house and share a lot of things and experience. This makes the host parents happy. Food festival is also conducted in this joy of giving week. All the students bring food from their home and share amongst themselves. The students complement each other’s food and they learn a lot of simple recipes. They were also asked to consume more vegetables and avoid fast food in the joy of giving week. A surprise call is given by the teacher to the students and a text message is forwarded sharing the love. Sharing motivational videos with friends is another way of sharing joy. All the students visit a friend who is unwell. They bring some fruits. This make the sick child leap with joy. All the friends agree to complete the notes of the previous units for him. They promise to carry the bag and take the child on his bicycle till he/she becomes completely alright. The game Chris-ma Chris-child is played in the joy of giving week. In this game a student gives a gift to her partner every day without knowing who her partner is and at last they come to know the suspense. This game enhances the relationship further. Students were asked to reduce the usage of plastics and paper. Whenever they use paper they use it on both the sides. Planting trees is another point in this joy of giving week. Each student is asked to plant a sapling in his/her home or school in the name of their best friend. While entering hotels this week the students are asked to enquire the waiters whether they had their food and tell them thanks for their service. This gesture is far better than any tips.Students give small gifts to the local police constables appreciating their work they are doing. Yet another initiative of the hoy of giving week will choose a traffic spot to reward to

reward two wheeler riders who wear helmets. The reward can be flowers, a thank you card or any memento. The objective is to encourage best practices while driving. The students make the class room clean and tidy in this joy of giving week. The sweepers in the school feel very easy and happy to be free from their job for some time. The students use words like sorry, thank you and please very frequently. This makes all the students happy. These words are not only used amongst the school students and the teachers but also to the laymen, the vegetable vendors, shop keepers, drivers, conductors, house maids, and milk men. The happiness in the face of these people makes the students happy. Some teachers collect books authored by famous people and give to the students to enrich their knowledge. Blood donation is nowadays a common benevolent act. As the school students are not eligible for blood donation because of their age factor they can educate and convince their parents and elders the significance of blood donation. A healthy person can periodically donate blood. When blood is donated, fresh blood is regenerated within a short span of time and there is no harm to any part of the body. Our blood saves other people’s life. They must be informed that there are many people in the world living in dark without eyes. Eye donation and organ donation is a godly gestures. . In the world many are living with problems in eyes, heart, and kidneys. The donation of organs after our life brings a new life for others. Instead of wasting the organ it can be used by another person. How wonderful it will be when one who has not seen the world is able to see the world with our eyes. The joy of giving is like lighting a candle in the dark room. It brightens up the place. In short the joy of giving week in its true sense is giving without expecting anything in return.

OCTOBER 2020 - 006

We must love all; share the talents to the nation and feel proud by giving and not by receiving. We learn from literatures, that by giving, nobody became poor- for example, Karna, the great philanthropist from the epic Mahabharatha. As the Bible says a big crowd was fed by a little boy who gave two fish and five loves of breads. The more we give the more we get. By giving positive and encouraging words we will create a positive vibration and happiness. As this

falls in the month of October, we gratefully remember the father of our nation as he found pleasure in giving his whole life for the citizens of India, with a highest degree of patriotism. It is a small moment and movement which will create a momentum in the entire nation. Let’s welcome this week with a smiling face. HAPPY JOY OF GIVING WEEK D. Brinda Govt High school, Melpattampakkam

K. Ramesh P.G. ASST, MADURAI, TAMILNADU

PEACE BEGINS WITH A SMILE Just imagine a world where everyone laughs and smiles at each other. How wonderful it is just to imagine! If it becomes true, then no need to soak up any heaven. This world will be a kind of heaven. There is a very famous saying of Mother Teresa -"Peace begins with a smile. Smile five times a day at someone you really don’t want to smile at; do it for peace" So many years ago, she proclaimed this quote or statement. But it still echoes in everyone's mind. It has got a universal attention in a number of years. Mother Teresa smiles make the world go round, peace makes everything better. When we look at the genuine smile of a child, we cannot resist ourselves to take him or her in our arm or in a lap. It effects just like a magic. True love is also not possible without a true smile. Everyone looks beautiful and smart when he or she smiles. Even the ugliest person on the planet looks nice when he smiles. Smiles helps us to forget all our sorrows and grievances. Smile at everybody. One can train oneself in smiling.

It seems how a smile can be peace in our life or around us. But believe me, this simple step can make a miracle if we take it less seriously. If everybody gives their bit by smiling, this simple step will turn into a big leap of a Hanuman. Peace begins with a smile, but get matured with kindness: We should bring qualities of compassion and kindness to inculcate peace in us permanently. Our journey of peace begins to smile, but it matures when we assimilate traits of compassion and kindness along with a smile. A peaceful person is always a smiling person, but it may be possible that a smiling person may not be a peaceful person. As smile brings temporary peace in us. Smile just gives us a taste of peace. But it is not at all peace in a complete sense. But without beginning, there is no end. So let us all commence our journey of peace with a smile, no matter what is the object for the smile. Just smile. K. RAMESH

Sharmila Bakre Hasabnis A travel enthusiast, an amateur photographer, a nature lover, an avid reader and a crafty artist is how I would describe myself. But above all I'm a proud Carmalite. I finished my Xth in 1981, topping the school (Mount Carmel, Nagpur) in board exams. After finishing my Chemical Engineering from L.I.T Nagpur, time flew by until I became an empty nester. No wonder then that I started missing my school days, it's principal, it's teachers and my classmates as they all held a special place in my heart.

Going down School Lane What started as an urge to locate my best friend and dance partner for many years in school, became a mammoth task of searching for all my school batch mates, in the last six years. Finding any information about 60 odd childhood friends, whom you have totally lost contact with for the past 39 years (remember there was no Facebook and whatsapp when we parted ways), and that too of girls whose names and surnames change after marriage, would have been a challenge even for Sherlock Holmes. Remembering old names, a few addresses, names of fathers and brothers, common friends, Google search, Facebook, a lot of phone calls - some answered some ignored, long waits for replies, misleads and infinite patience finally led me to 55 of my batch mates.

After reacquainting with them and filling in all the blanks of the missing years, I felt the need to look for my teachers who had shaped my life : making maths and science my favorite subjects always scoring highest marks; bringing out the artist in me winning trophies for craft, elocution and drama; getting me out of my comfort zone and making me dance; polishing leadership qualities by making me captain. Luckily I found and met our English teacher whom I was terrified of in school and frankly was even now; but to whom I owe my knowledge of English - vocabulary and proNUNciation. I also met the maths teacher who was like one-of-us, science teacher whom we admired for her dressing sense, marathi teacher who could sing melodiously. Sadly both my arts and dramatics teachers, whose pet student I was, were no more.

OCTOBER 2020 - 010

During this search my school principal remained elusive. Nobody knew her whereabouts. Stories cropped up here and there but of long long ago. Then a few years ago there was a photo of her on Facebook being felicitated at Goa. I called up the convents there but came up with zilch. The trail had gone cold. Then out of the blue I came across a photo of her with an acquaintance. On contacting that person I got to know her whereabouts and immediately confirmed it. I and a few of my classmates made plans to visit her. We thought we would get just 15 minutes of her time as she was 85+ and looking very frail in the photo. But we literally sat around her like doting children and she was so happy to see us giggling and regaling her with anecdotes of our mischief that she allowed us to stay for an hour. I told her how certain habits and manners formed in school had become an

intrinsic part of my being. She too told us about her period as a principal and how moral science taught in school differentiated a convent from other schools. I had taken a few photographs of our batch from different years. She did not remember the students but fondly remembered some teachers. And to my utter delight she picked out my face from all the photographs saying "I remember only her". That she found my face familiar itself was such a high for me. It was such an emotional moment, I was barely controlling my tears. But when some of the girls hugged me and thanked me for bringing this joy in their lives, the dam burst. I will forever cherish these moments. A six year project thus came to fruition. God bless my school principal with good health. Amen. Sharmila Bakre Hasabnis

Anuppama Das Educator Schools 2030 the school building as you know it will change. No more sectioned off classrooms featuring heavy doors and narrow windows. No more desks in rows facing a projector screen and a lectern. Dusty textbooks, old chalkboards and tired school decorations will be gone. Definitely a clear picture. In many schools arond the world it is happening. But when it comes to India we need to look into the point that Its a price concern people and govt. and also the difference of opinions in every corner of the country. I am afraid how will we embrace the extremely fast changing concept of learning and applications. School buildings will be vibrant and dynamic. They will feature what is today called “flexible seating. In other words, many schools will look more and more like a WeWork or your favorite coworking space! Schools will feature maker spaces, and engineering spaces so students can use their hands to manipulate items and learn. Agreed. It will create a new door for collaboration for machine minds and creative minds.

Schools will be filled with new technologies like VR/AR sets, voice controlled devices and the latest laptops and tablets for each student to engage with. The point is very much taken but even now around 50 million children is not being able access basic education. And we are on the verge of a mass existinsion. How will we make it happen on a local or i may say mocro level scale. Teachers The role of the teacher in 2030 will change drastically from today. You probably knew your teacher as the content expert. Typically, schools hire Mrs. Roberts to teach math because she knows math really well. Your English teacher typically loves literature and maybe has a small writing career on the side. Teachers have been required to be content experts for so long. Yes it is correct . Also I believe a lot of good innovation can be embraced once we abolish the b.ed system . (Read in one of the article in hindu that this is the way forward)

OCTOBER 2020 - 012

In 2030, adaptive learning software will replace direct instruction. Adaptive learning software is computer software that uses AI to move students up and down through a grade level’s content based on student performance on assessment questions. Adaptive learning is faster and more efficient than even the best teachers. China is applying it already. We need to look forward to apply this on level basis system. Using adaptive learning software to teach core content means that teachers no longer have to be content experts. With adaptive learning software, the role of the teacher changes. The teacher is now a motivator, coach, curriculum designer and mentor to the student.

Since adaptive learning software is faster than instruction today, the future will see schools condense pure academic work to three hours per day, using the other three or four hours in the day to teach life skills or let students explore personal interest projects. This means the role as a motivator is one of the most important roles a teacher will play. He i guess we need basic education but a lot and lot of practical knowledge. Teachers with high emotional quotioned will be the need of the future . Thats for sure. Public speaking with good ways to connect to people, these kind of teachers will be high in demand . Saraswathi Priyadarshini Teacher, you are the potter! Eyes beaming with excitement, flushed cheeks, broad grins and the overwhelming feeling to be heard and involved. This is the energy that invites and absorbs me in my theatre class for the primary section. One story telling session I chose The Thirsty Crow from the famed Aesop’s fable, it was both narrated and enacted and concluded in a rather amusing manner. Eliciting the moral of the story I waited in anticipation for the value learnt, up stood this six year old pretty boy with his hands on his hips, he spoke up with confidence “ ma’am, the moral of the story is, never be thirsty again!”. Resounding laughter filled the auditorium, the teachers sitting around found it most humourous, his friends giggled and I was amazed. Well, to him it meant if you don’t thirst, you don’t have to take the trouble of finding water!! He was self -assured and not afraid to speak up. His beautiful young mind worked in a distinctive way. An older child or an adult perhaps would be frightened of being wrong cause in our education system “mistakes” are the worst thing that one can make. Being wrong is not the same as being creative, but if you are not prepared to be wrong,

will never come up with anything creative. Our system gives credence to academic ability and the same ability dominates how we view intelligence. Highly talented, brilliant students while at school were actually stigmatised. A little boy could not speak till he was four and his elementary teacher labelled him as “lazy” because he would ask abstract questions that others could not understand, we know this boy today as the genius Albert Einstein. He revolutionized the world of science, and he believed that imagination is more important than knowledge. As a kid no basketball coach would help Michael Jordon as he was short! Though Jordon was discouraged. He decided to prove his coach wrong. By acclamation he is the greatest basketball player of all time, now in the NBA hall of fame his net worth is 160 crores. Our life should be about the discovery of our talents irrespective of the criticism we face and our students look to us to facilitate the unearthing and polishing of that innate ability. Education aften derails and dislocates children from their natural talent. A word of rebuke or reprimand over the unusual moral of the story could have broken my grade one student’s confidence and creativity forever. OCTOBER 2020 - 014

Over the years I have come to learn that when a child engages in something that excites him, he is also determined to excel in it. When the teacher assists in honing that innate talent, the children grows and realise the inner potential, this boosts their confidence and helps them succeed in their academics as well. Talent can also be built and it may also show up in later years, like my own son whose drawing abilities flourished over night at the age of 15. It’s a delight to have Parents rush backstage after many a performance both in awe and amazement at the acting prowess of their child on the grand stage, they had no clue of what lay beneath that was uncovered and developed. Building a talent with patience allows children to learn from their mistakes and find a path to success. Teach them to be determined, persevere, practice and progress. Praise every little effort. Guide them to sharpen their special skill and never settle for mediocracy. Telling them that

confidence and resilience are the tools to fulfilling their dreams does go a long way. At the end of the theatre class the excitement and passion that was so strong, so visible, quickly drains out of their eyes, one little girl held my hand and said, “ma’am why can’t every day be Friday”, they had theatre class on Fridays. We have a generation of students that are yearning to use their imagination and creativity while discovering their special skill. Yes, every day can be “Friday” if we as teachers take them on a journey of self-discovery. Where ever their aptitude may lie ,whatever subject they excel in , it’s who they are and what excites them. Like our master creator moulded us with his skilful hands, to be perfectly unique and distinct, a teacher has that same calling, that enormous responsibility to mould, shape and make a master piece of every little boy and girl that is entrusted in our care. Pratiba Sopori Educator PEACE Always aim at complete harmony of thought and world and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well” – Mahatma Gandhi When people solicit “what is peace and harmony?” , I would always say that it is the immense joy in having the equality feeling in our hearts towards all the different people in this world based on religion, wealth status, etc and treating them with respect and pure love. I believe that peace can be maintained in a country only when the government treats everyone equally and respectfully. Only then will the people of the nation explicit brotherhood towards all. We should invest thoughts and benefits of peace and harmony in the hearts of children who are going to lead the entire world towards the righteous path tomorrow. Peace is a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there is no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom. First of all, what is peace? We all know that peace is just being quiet and calm. But what is the real definition of peace? Well, peace is actually a freedom from disturbance. In other words, tranquillity. It is also the absence or the cessation of war or violence. In the modern world we are living now, human race is getting more and...

more repulsive. Human rights are no longer served like they were used to, humans are being so self-centred for themselves that they became ignorant of what their words. Harmony is the flow of life. Peace and harmony are the most important thing in life. Peace and harmony is a basic prerequisite. Peace and harmony can bring a peaceful and stable order to society, and they are the necessary condition for the survival and development of mankind. A Peace and freedom are two very different things but if they team up and join together they could just make this world a lot better to live in. For a long time people such as hippies, slaves, and MLK want there to be peace and freedom. If people who want it to happen and work together they could accomplish it. My first reason is that peace and freedom can help there not be as many wars making this world lots safer and a lot better. If people are able to do what they want that make them happy and in a state of peace. The definition of peace means being free from disturbance. True peace includes personal wholeness, righteousness, political justice, and prosperity for all creation. That’s the way God intended things to be when he created his garden, his paradise. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” Pratiba Sopori

Mansi Sharma B.A - Journalism, M.A - Mass Communication "I can't see you cry" I'm your soulmate, I can't see you cry. I'm your wife, Privileged to share all joys and griefs in your life. As if our life had stopped suddenly, the day when you expressed me your situation. I was broken hearted after knowing that you are going through depression. Depression is nothing but just feeling of sadness & darkness which is perceived. Demons of negativity get prevail over men indeed. It kills one's esteem, all reviving efforts and confidence. A feeling creeps in mind that one's worthless. Although I was in it with you, It wasn't a solo journey. I too didn't feel like eating, when you didn't feel hungry. When you were persistent to fight, I too couldn't sleep at night. I have never seen in my life you're being so feeble, Echo of your screams used to pierce me like needle.

But I believed, everything would be fine, All you need was my more attention and time. I did everything what I thought was right, My credence on God worked and that spell of gloominess went away from our life. At last I would like to share, Everyone need to be aware, It's born when you keep a lot of things to you, Thinking that it's difficult to find people who will understand. No one should sink into this black well of over thinking, Open up your heart to your dear ones who are listening. Those who suffer through this pain, just need compassion, care n love. Start loving yourself and the things you LOVE....... Mansi Sharma

Palak Dutta Palak Dutta is a 20 year old Foreign Medical Graduate pursuing her medical degree in KYIV, Ukraine. She belongs to Ferozepur, Punjab. Poetry is a way of expression for her, when she can't find her way through an ardous journey in life she turns to her quill for help. Her forte is taking inspiration from real life events and portraying sensitive and deep emotions in simple words. AGEING On a happy Sunday morning, Mom cooking for everyone, Around her we all are chirping, My eyes stumble upon, The gray streak on her hair, The emerging wrinkles on her face, Her loosened skin as I glare, Increases my heart's pace, Thoughts rushing of how she is ageing, My chest feels heavy and the eyes are wet, As I recall her complaining, How at times her body aches or dizzy she gets, The pit in my stomach growls, Thinking there will come a time in a few years, When I won't see her roaming in halls, It won't be her when my phone rings. The feeling of the thought she is ageing, Gives me chills, Fills the air with melancholy in my surrounding, The fear of not being able to listen her voice kills. Then Mom's cheery voice snaps me out, Of my scrunching thoughts, "The food is ready!" she shouts, And I promise myself to enjoy what ever time we have got.

I am a creator of ideas, swimming in a sparkling sea of imagination. A magician of sorts, turning thoughts of wonderment into pieces of originality. Each creation showcase my own personal journey. All that I was yesterday and all that I’ll be tomorrow in nearly contained in my glorious creation. When you glance over my work, you are catching a glimpse of my soul, a part of ME is in each piece I create. Certain pieces I protect and keep to myself while others I’ll share with the world. I believe that art is everywhere we can reuse recycle and can create something new. All we need is imagination.
