The newest version of the movie franchise Universal Pictures “The Mummy” directed by Alex Kurtzman and headlined by Tom Cruise will be shot at close to ten filming locations in the Erongo Region. This was officially revealed by the unit publicist Claire Raskind to namib times. The shooting crew on the ground in Namibia consists of 650 persons. For the next few weeks lucky residents at the coast might get a glimpse of various international stars like Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson and Courtney B Vance. All these names don't need an introduction. The cast forms part of the newest movie in the franchise “The Mummy,” which is currently being filmed in the Erongo Region. “Production has been on the ground in Namibia prepping for two months prior to shooting, which started last week,” Raskind revealed to namib times.
