Former Swakopmund Mayor Kambueshe in court on fraud and theft charges

Erwin Leuschner Erongo Regional Councilor and former mayor of Swakopmund, Juuso Kambueshe, was granted bail of N$50 000 in the town's magistrates court yesterday afternoon, after making a first appearance on charges of fraud and theft. The heavy load carrying vessel Zhen Hua 8 was received with huge fanfare in the port of Walvis Bay this morning, delivering four ship to shore cranes to Namport. It will now require a six week operation to unload the partly assembled cranes directly onto the quay of the new container terminal.
