Meet the Supra
At its ordinary monthly meeting for August (took place on 3 September), the Council of the municipality of Walvis Bay adopted a recommendation for the development of a Direct Potable Reclamation facility that will be located on the same premises as the waste water treatment plant. The two facilities would be integrated and would be known as the Namib Water Reclamation Plant. The waste water treatment plant would continue to produce semi-purified effluent from raw sewerage water and the semi-purified effluent would then through DPR be purified into potable water. A competent tender agent and transactional advisor would be appointed in due course to develop the project to its full capacity. The transactional advisor, states the Council meeting's agenda, would be responsible for the appointment of the full bouquet of specialist services for the entire project from initial design right down to the tender
