Tow-in driver causes crash - flees the scene Eileen van der Schyff Law enforcement at Swakopmund were yesterday launching efforts to locate a tow-truck driver who crashed his tow-in vehicle through a boundary wall of a property in Dr Schwietering Street, only to run away from the scene of the accident leaving two seriously injured passengers behind. According to a report of the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund of Namibia (MVA), the accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday. There were four passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident. West Coast Safety Initiative reported paramedics stabilised the injured passengers and were all then transported to the Swakopmund state hospital. One of the passengers had to be transported to Windhoek due to the severity of the injuries sustained. Picture on page 2
