A Quantum Mini Bus burst into flames on the B2 coastal road between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay on Sunday evening and completely burnt out. Nobody was injured. According to the West Coast Safety Initiative (WCSI) the vehicle carrying two occupants was travelling towards Swakopmund. Apparently both occupants smelled something burning in the vehicle and when they pulled to the side of the road the mini-bus burst into flames. The inferno was extinguished by the Walvis Bay Fire Brigade and Rescue Services. Other emergency and rescue services also attended the scene.

"At the same time he is requesting that any objections to this sale be addressed and sent to him. This makes him both judge and jury of the transaction in which he has a direct interest", the PDM stated in a press release dated 14 January 2018. The person in question is acting CEO Reinhold Hermanus Evanson. In an advertisement which appeared in a daily newspaper on 11 January he informs the public that he intends to purchase residential erf 379 measuring 1118 square metres for N$220 000. The erf is located in Usakos. "The PDM wishes to urgently focus the Minister of Local Gvernment, Sophia Shaningwa's attention on the advertisment. This advertisement, for the sale of a plot by private treaty, is a clear indication of a serious clash of interest on the part of the acting CEO Reinhold Hermanus Evanson that must inevitably lead to corruption", the press release by the party states. The PDM describes this type of behaviour as a "clear indication of what is happening in our local authorities, where people in positions of power are using their positions to benefit themselves and/or their friends and relatives to the disadvantage of people out there who are begging for land to buy." "No wonder that ordinary people complain about remaining on the waiting list for many years, without ever getting a chance to buy a plot", the statement continues. The party wishes to know from Minister Shinangwa whether the Local Authorities Act allows for a CEO (or any other official) to sell municipal property to him or herself. "Surely this opens the door to abuse of the powers vested in that official", it states. The party urges the the Minister, that if this is a loophole in the Act, to in accordance with President Hage Geingob's campaign against corruption, "immediately start drafting an amendment to be tabled in the National Assembly as a matter of urgency to make such blatant self-enrichment illegal.

In the edition of 5 January 2018, the namib times carried an article referring to a Government vehicle parked on a parking bay reserved for the disabled at the Superspar in Swakopmund. In the article reference is made to the lack of respect shown by Government officials using parking bays reserved for the disabled. In this instance however, the statement published did not reflect the correct information. This Government vehicle is driven by the Deputy Speaker of the Namibian National Assembly, Professor Peter Katjivivi. The reason for professor Katjivivi making use of this parking bay is because his spouse makes use of a wheelchair. On the day he parked at this particular parking bay he was accompanied by his spouse and it was for ease of access to the supermarket that he did so. namib times wishes to tender an unconditional apology to Professor Katjivivi for the information published in the article. Furhtermore, we also wish to apologise for the inconvenience Professor Katjivivi suffered as result of the information published and which he duly pointed out to the newspaper's editor in a letter.

Shopping bags outlawed only in 2019 Erwin Leuschner
The final implementation of the regulations to control the use of shopping bags in Swakopmund will most likely only come to reality in 2019. This was revealed to namib times by Clive Lawrence, General Manager: Health Services at the Swakopmund Municipality. According to Lawrence the by-law specifically aimed at eliminating the illiterate use of plastic bags and curbing pollution has to go through various bureaucratic processes. It takes time. "If all goes well we aim at submitting the draft regulations to Town Council towards the end of March", Lawrence said. Contrary to previous reports the new regulation will not entail a complete ban of plastic bags in Swakopmund, something which Lawrence described as impos-sible. "After various meetings with stakeholders
we established that it is not an option to completely abolish plastic bags", he said. Instead, the municipality is aiming at controlling the use of plastic bags by rather introducing a specific levy and charge a nominal fee for shopping bags. The new by-law will also encourage retailers to make use of plastic bags, which are bio-degradable, which a handfull of Swakopmund supermarkets have already introduced. "Council in 2017 approved the frame-work regarding the proposed by-law. We are now
working on the draft regulations which, after they are approved, have to be submitted to the line ministry for approval", Lawrence explained. After the Minister approves these changes, they are then gazetted and can only then be enforced. "We also have to look at a transfer period, even after the by-law is gazetted, to give retailers the opportunity to make a transition", he continued. Coupled with this, the Municipality will also have to embark on an awareness raising campaign, to inform all residents of the new by-law.

Two vehicle accidents in Henties Bay area Erwin Leuschner
Three German tourists sustained injures after they were involved in an accident on the C35 gravel road between Henties Bay and Uis on Saturday evening (pictured). The injured were transported to the Cottage Hospital at Swakopmund. "They are all in a stable condition", confirmed Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu, police regional crime investigations coordinator for Erongo. ADN: The centre caring for those who forget, but are not forgotten Erwin Leuschner
Photo by Erwin Leuschner Berry Holtzhausen of Alzheimer's and Dementia Namibia (ADN) together with Emily and her mother Elisabeth Katamila. At ADN Emily is trained on how to best care for her mother. Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. These terms to an extent are still a taboo in Namibia, although we live in a modern world. Yet, there is a surprisingly large segment of the population suffering from one of these conditions and in most cases patients are neither properly diagnosed or often don't receive the right treatment.
"We try to make patients suffering from these conditions to live the
remainder of their lives as happy and fulfilling as possible", explains Berry Holtzhausen to
namib times. Holtzhausen is the founder of Alzheimer's and Dementia Namibia (ADN), located on a
smallholding east of Swakopmund. For the 13 patients living there, the centre is a blessing. They are cared for
round the clock. Holtzhausen contacted the namib times after the newspaper reported on 66-year-old Elisabeth Katamila, who went missing in the desert before Christmas last year. She was found by mere chance by Swakopmund resident Dunja Pritzen, who went for a run. Katamila was severely dehydrated after she had been missing for three days. She has since made a full recovery. "When I read the story, I immediately thought she showed possible symptoms of Dementia. Dementia patients like going on long walks. They need space and walk very long distances", explained Holtzhausen. He visited the family and made an evaluation. "I knew something was wrong, but my family thought my mom had been a subject of witchcraft", explained Emily, Katamila's daughter. Although we live in a modern world, patients suffering from Alzheimer's or Dementia in Namibia are often misdiagnosed. There is a stigma surrounding these conditions. Instead, these patients are often thought to be victims of witchcraft,
especially in rural areas where they are sometimes cast out. Holtzhausen has witnessed people suffering from Alzheimer's or Dementia chained to trees. The old lady in this case also liked to go on long walks, but the people in the village thought she was a victim of sorcery. Dementia is a general term for a decline in mental ability, severe enough to interfere with daily life, whilst Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia. People with dementia may have problems with shortterm memory, keeping track of a purse or wallet, paying bills, planning and preparing meals, remembering appointments or traveling out of the neighborhood. Many forms of dementias are progressive, meaning symptoms start out slowly and gradually get worse. The sad part is that in the case of most progressive dementias, including Alzheimer's disease, there is no cure and no treatment that slows or stops its progression. "In the case of Elisabeth (Katamila) we have invited her to our centre here in Swakopmund,
where we are training her daughter how to care for her mother", Holtzhausen said. "It is not easy, but I do what I can", Emily chimes in. She has been caring for her mother since she can remem-ber and must care for her 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Although she wishes to get a job and earn an income, she can't. Her mother remains a top priority. When Katamila showed the first symptoms of Dementia, her daughter took her to the clinic. Doctors explained to Emily that Katamila "is just old" and gave her some medication before sending her home. Another misdiagnosis. "I learnt about Alzheimer's in school, but never thought it would affect my mom. Now, I know what's going on and what I can do for her", Emily said. While her mom never used to go on walks, she now, suddenly, loves it. After her nasty experience in the desert, she has visited ADN a few times. "She likes it here", Holtzhausen continues. "I am happy that she likes it here. She is very well looked after", Emily says.

The 2017 Grade 12 Results Extracts from the speech of the Minister of Education and Culture – Hon. Katrina Hanse-Himarwa MP Minister of Education, Arts and Culture. During the 2017 academic year, a total of 56 305 candidates comprising of 22 091 full-time and 34 214 part-time registered for Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate at 188 full-time and 129 part-time examination centres nationally. The Grade 12 Ordinary Level candidates increased with 9.3% from 51 527 to 56 305 which is 4 778 candidates more than 2016.
“From the total of 34 214 part-time candidates, 29 181 were registered with the Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) which equates to 85.3% of the total part-time candidates while the rest were catered for by other private institutions registered with the MoEAC. A steady increase in the number of NSSC ordinary candidates registered was observed over the past three years (2017-2015), with a notable leap of 9.3% observed between 2016 and 2017. The increase in registration over the years raises an alarm for Education Planners, especially now that the Ministry is approaching the planning stages for the era of transition from the old senior secondary curriculum to the revised curriculum. The increase in parttime figures is worrying and requires thorough planning to ensure that prospective candidates are catered for when seeking registration. It should also be noted that the increase in the number of candidates puts more pressure and burden on the administrative, control and coordination of the National Examinations. However, the Ministry will do its utmost best to strive to maintain the credibility and integrity of the National Examinations. I am pleased to inform the nation that out of 22 091 full-time candidates who registered for Grade 12 Ordinary Level in 2017, 93.7% of the entries were graded compared to 93.3% in 2016; and this shows an increase of 0.4% of the graded entries. Moreover, of the 34 214 part-time candidates registered for the examination 81.1% of the subject entries were graded in 2017 when compared to 78.5 % in 2016. This shows an increase of 2.6%; again a positive achievement as far as the graded subject entries for part-time candidates are concerned. The NSSC Ordinary Level results of the part-time candidates show remarkable improvement throughout all the grade ranges. Similar to the full-time entries, the part-time entries also improved on their grading entries with an increase of 2.6% from 78.5% in 2016 to 81.1% in 2017, which is commendable. In summary, the 2017 results of the part-time candidates could be described as more than satisfactory and a similar trend should
be encouraged and affordably exceeded in 2018. This is a remarkable achievement and let me once again congratulate the part-time candidates and institutions for a job well done. The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture is obliged to report on its performance against the Namibia's Fifth National Development Plan (NDP5).Hence the reporting on the % Full-time candidates scoring D or better grade in the following subjects at Gr.12 Ordinary level. As is evident, the results indicate that more still needs to be done to enhance teaching and learning in order to elevate the learning outcomes to the desired quality levels that will exceed the national targets. I am delighted to report on a positive move in English and Biology of which the performance was unsatisfactory over the past years. Physical Science seems to be stagnant whereas Mathematics and Agriculture recorded a slight drop compared to 2016 results. As is evident, the above results indicate that more still needs to be done to enhance teaching and learning in order to elevate the learning outcomes to the desired quality levels that will exceed the national targets. The ultimate aim of any secondary education graduate is to enter Institutions of Higher Learning to qualify in the field of his/her interest. In this regard, the class of 2017 improved on the NDP5 baseline of 36% with 39.3% (8 632) but missed the target of 40% with only 0.7% for the candidates who met the requirement for admission to institutions of Higher Learning. In 2016 the percentage stood at36.8% representing 7 772 candidates. Regrettably though, as it is in many other spheres of life we do not always make it with the first attempt and hence it is no difference to some of our candidates who did not obtain the required points for admission to further their studies at the institutions of Higher Learning. Several alternative learning opportunities are presented to such candidates nationally, inter alia: Improving their subject grades on parttime basis, joining skills training centres through NTA, joining the job market, becoming entrepreneurs to be self-employed etc. Everything is possible if you put your mind to it and focus to better your life. It is the duty and mandate of the Ministry to research on the reasons for poor performance as well as build an understanding on why some regions and schools perform better than others. In order to pave the way for research and future inter-
ventions that are geared towards learning from best practices within the system, the Ministry has taken a deliberate decision to dissect the performance in subjects per region. This will enable interventions; and the pulling of expertise at national and regional level for amicable solutions. We are reporting on A* to D symbols at National level because the Ministry of Education is leaning heavily towards its pillar of quality results, to encourage learners and teachers to work towards achieving quality teaching and learning outcomes. Seven regions exceeded the national average performance at Grade D and above in English (//Kharas, Hardap, Khomas, Omaheke, Erongo, Kunene and Kavango-East Regions; while only five regions exceeded the national average performance in mathematics being (Ohangwena, Omusati, Oshikoto, Khomas and Oshana). Furthermore, six regions out-performed national performance in the remaining subjects. It is high time that we start moving away from this mediocrity and start to look at our contributions towards the above regional performances. Notwithstanding the challenges facing us, this way of reporting is clearly talking to the individual subject teachers and all stakeholders that render support in the specific subject area to compare their regional performances against the national performance. The Regional Education Directorates should emulate the above example by zooming further into their individual school results and start to twin up teachers, schools or even regions in subject areas for collaboration to facilitate improvement. The reality on the ground dictates differently between government and private schools which we cannot move away from. The playground with regards to many aspects is simply not levelled. Thus, comparing the performance of learners at government schools against private schools to a certain degree is not fair. Therefore, it is only fair to split the analysis of the category between government and private schools. A total number of 153 government schools were registered for the NSSC Ordinary Level Examinations and the following are the top five (5) schools on the basis of the 2017 examination for fulltime candidates. (Only schools with 30 and more candidates were considered) A total number of 35 private schools were registered for the NSSC Ordinary Level Examinations and the following are the top five (5) schools on the basis of the 2017 examination for full-time candidates (only schools with 30 and more candidates were considered) The Ministry has also analyzed the performance of the top 10 candidates in fourteen (14) Directorates of Education, Arts and Culture and it was established that the status quo remains as in 2016 with regards to the dominance of male candidates over the female candidates. A reportable aggregate of 71 is representative of (50.7%) are male candidates; and 69 (49.3%) are female candidates. The results show that male candidates performed better than the female candidates in the 2017 Grade 12 Ordinary Level examinations. It is very interesting to see that during the release of the Junior Secondary Certificate and Higher level results, female
candidates performed better than their male counterparts, whereas the males took the trophy during the NSSC Ordinary level examinations. The mentioned candidates and other prize winners will be awarded with their prizes at the Prize Giving ceremony that will be held at the end of January 2018. The NSSC Ordinary Level results have been dispatched to Regional Education Directorates for release at 08:00 on 11 January 2018 in all regions. On remarking and checking of marks; candidates should note that the re-marking of scripts and the checking of marks are allowed. The closing date for applications for re-marking at the Centre's where the candidates sat for their examinations is 19 January 2018. This is in an effort to make sure that no candidate is disadvantaged when applying for university admission.
Information about remarking fees is available at Regional Education Directorates and examination centers. Appeal directives are also available at the schools as well as the Regional Education Directorates in case of unsatisfactory outcomes of first stages. The NSSC certificates will be available as from middle April 2018. Therefore students, are advised to collect their certificates from the centers where they sat for their examinations in 2017. After analyzing the results for full-time and part-time candidates, the conclusion is that the results have shown a 40.4% of quality symbols at higher grades (A* to D) for full-time candidates whereas part-time candidates obtained 20.6% of quality symbols in all ranges but performed better than 2016 in all the grade ranges. Furthermore, 93.7% and 81.1% of the subject entries were graded for full-time and part-time candidates, respectively. These performances should be
applauded and encouraged for the new academic year as well. As much as we congratulate the candidates for the reduction of ungraded entries, poor performance in English remains a matter of concern especially in quality symbols and this must be given full attention during the 2018 academic year as it is the key subject for admission to tertiary institutions of higher learning. Learners needs to go to school to learn and pass their exams and to move on to the next grade or level. Every child is bound to succeed provided he/she is fully supported in all the spheres of his/her life and this support is vital to our schools, private institutions, teachers and learners to make 2018 a year of success. Therefore, parents, teachers and the community at large let us support our children to secure a better future for them. It is important that School Managers and leadership ensure that supervision of curriculum implementation is carried out effectively in order
7
to improve teaching and learner performance and ensuring that quality education is provided. Regional Education Directors' and their teams should therefore sensitize teachers on their crucial role in order to enhance quality in education. I am convinced that if each one of us plays our role as expected, we shall reap the benefits which will guarantee better future through the provision of quality education for the Namibian child. We the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture value your commitment and will always be grateful to you, our teachers. Thank you once again for all your hard work and commitment. May we all have a fruitful and rewarding 2018 academic year! Top performing private schools are: 1.St Boniface College 2. St Paul's College 3. ElcinNkurenkuru HS 4. Swakopmund Private School 5. Committee V Club Challenge A very large entry of 45 players turned out for the WALVIS BAY STEVEDORING COMMITTEE V CLUB CHALLENGE with 37 of them hoping to defy all odd and beat the 8 man strong [and boy were they strong, just ask Wayne, Estelle en Deville haha] committee team. From the outset let it be said that as this was a team event individual scores and results really don't matter J. When the dust had settled it was the committee team who came out on top by a very convincing 26 ½ against 10 ½ A devastated club team captain Morne Roux received the new trophy 'the chairman's cup' from club chairman Shane Westerdale and Morne admitted that the club team was well and truly beaten by the committee, although he tried to feel better by saying at least he won his game. By popular demand and public vote Morne [or shall we say Moreen] was elected as club team captain for the revenge match next year. The photos are of the winning team of 8, Morne receiving the chairman's cup from Shane. Club captain Herman was the winner on the day. The competition on the day was won by Herman with a very good score of 43
points with Piet van Niekerk in second place on a nearly as good 42 points. There was a count out for third and fourth place and these were won by Morne Roux and Lu-Andre Duvenhage on 40 points. The lucky draw was won by Wilma. There were three two clubs on the day, Herman, Emile Vilbert and Jakkie de Witt who chipped in to record his two club. Thanks to Riaan and his team for the continued support. The chicken braai after the game was indeed a winner and because the committee won the day it was decided not to charge for the meal, not sure what the cost would have been if they had lost haha, but thanks to Herman, Jason and Darryl for doing the braai. All in all a good day was had by all, more by the excellent eight. Remember, remember - no not the 5th of November but the 24th February which is the club FUND RAISER, so please diarise this date. More details to follow as they are made available. After a strong start in selling of the advertising space on the windows there has been a slow down so should you wish to advertise on the window/s please contact
Gert and let's get it done for you. The calendar for the year will also be out shortly, but the events for the next few weeks are as follows 20/1 Jason/Duane and Trevor pairs and the format to be advised 27/1 PSG WB OPEN Saturday and Sunday and the format is medal 54 holes for all divisions, carts only allowed with dr certificate. This weekend pair's format will be as follows First 6 holes better ball Second 6 holes foursomes who is where each plays tees off on alternate holes and the other player playing the second shot and so on Last 6 holes greensomes which is both players tee off and the best drive is selected and then the other player plays the second shot, something like a scramble drive foursomes Thanks to Jason Duane and Trevor for the sponsorship for the pairs. So please plan you golfing accordingly. The draw was not won lost week so it is up to 1 200 this Friday.

New “Top Gun” for Kudus
Allister Carolissen, the son of one of the founder members of Kudus Rugby Club, was elected the Chairman of Kudus Rugby Club last Tuesday during the annual general meeting. The AGM was held at the clubhouse. Allister is not a rugby player himself, but knows the rules of the game by heart. He is one of the biggest supporters of the club from a tender age. Some of the older supporters of the club believe Allister is the right person for the job and that he will take the club to higher heights. He message to the rest of the management after his appointment was that one is elected to work for the club and if you are not up to the job stand down and allow for someone else to take over the task. Carolissen said it is an honour for him to be the Chairman of the Club and added this is the rugby club with the biggest supporters base at the coast. He said he knows the road ahead will not be easy, expressed his trust in his management to restore to former glory days. "We are blessed to have players that are with the club since 2009 and that we do need more players. To all the new players: welcome to the best club at the coast and soon to be in the country”, said Carolissen. The main priorities of the management will
be to solicit sponsors for the club. “We will once again participate in the NRU Premier and Reserve leagues. We are planning to participate in the Fishing Industries tournament in South Africa. This tour will cost the club N$85 000. We want Kudu players to commit themselves to this cause and ensure our participation at this prestigious event at Velddrift in October this year”, further stated Carolissen. We would like to send a strong team to play in the tournament, so all the players need to prepare themselves", he added. Desmond Frankfort, a long serving member of the club urged all the management and players to pay their affiliation fees to the club. Mr. Frankfort explained the club needs to consider getting the services of Sammy Paulse. Paulse is one of the best rugby coaches in South Africa. Mr. Paulse was born in Walvis Bay, but before re-integration moved with his parents to South Africa. He stays and works in the Paarl and is the former head coach of Paarl Rugby Club. Namibia lost at ICC Under-19 World Cup
The 2018 Namibian Under-19 national team at the ICC Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand
Namibia’s Under-19 national cricket team lost both their opening games at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. In the first game in group C at Lincolnat Bert Sutcliffe Oval, the boys lost with 87 runs against Bangladesh. The second game with 8 wickets against England. Due to rain the game was reduced to 20 over's a side and with Namibia having won the toss and chosen to bowl, a fast start was imperative for the Asian side. They posted a comprehensive 190-4. Namibia fought relentlessly to chase the 191 to win, but had to bow out with 103/6. Eben van Wyk scored an impressive 55 runs and salvaged the Namibians from conceding a defeat by a bigger margin. Also a star for the Namibians was Nicol Loftie-Eaton who scored 24 runs. But the day's real story was Bangladesh's accomplished performance, putting away a spirited Namibian side
with ease, and setting down a marker for other teams to take notice of. In the second game Namibia opted to bat against England in their Group C encounter, hoping to post a tricky total and avoid the inevitable scoreboard pressure had they batted second. Despite struggling for large parts of the innings, solid knocks from Sam Fouché, Petrus Burger and Nicol Loftie-Eaton helped Namibia post 196/9, a target England will consider tricky. The game was played at the beautiful John Davies Oval in Queenstown yesterday. Jurgen Linde and Lohan Louwrens added 42 runs for the opening wicket
within ten over's, carefully picking their shots and putting away the short-pitched deliveries. England's opening bowlers – Ethan Bamber and Dillon Pennington – couldn't find a way around them, but a bowling chance eventually did it for them. All the while however, Fouché sealed up one end, putting on partnerships of 24 runs with van Wyk, 27 runs with von Mollendorff and 26 runs with LoftieEaton. By the time Fouché departed he scored a 75ball 44, taking Namibia past the 100-run mark. England's bowlers combined to restrict Namibia to 196/9. Loftie-Eaton then took charge, ably supported by Burger. The two went about attacking England in what turned out to be Namibia's best period of play. They put on 33 for the seventh wicket before Burger holed out off Hollman, having picked the bowler for consecutive fours earlier in the innings. Then, Loftie-Eaton dished out a similar treatment to Brook before being trapped in front by Scriven. Ramon Wilmot's 18-ball 13, comprising some
efficient, even desperate running, helped Namibia near the 200-mark – a commendable effort from Namibia, especially given England's excellent over-rate. Hollman returned 3/41, and was the pick of England's bowlers. England couldn't have hoped for a better start to their campaign as they beat the Namibian boys with 8 wickets.
Hambira scores to hand Warriors victory Submitted by NFA media-officer
Charles Hambira rose the highest to score his first international goal at the death and give the Brave Warriors a 1-0 victory over Ivory Coast in the opening Group B game at the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) at the Grand Stade Marrakesh on Sunday evening. Hambira, who stood out in defence with some timed tackles to thwart the Ivorians attacks throughout the game, rose at the near post to head home the winner on 90 minute from a well delivered ball from Riaan Hanamub after Itamunua Keimuine was fouled down on the right side of goal. Earlier on, the Brave Warriors absorbed all the pressure and defended well and they nearly scored against the run of play on 15 minutes as Petrus Shitembi found space on the edge of the box and unleased a shot that was carried away by Ivory Coast goalkeeper Zadi Ble. Ferdinand Karongee too came close before halftime as he connected with another Hanamub free kick from the left and directed the ball out on the stroke of halftime. In the second half, Itamunua Keimuine replaced Hendrick Somaeb, who also had a half chance in the first half and on 70 minutes Edmund Kambanda combined well to set Junias Theophilus free, set up Shitembi who controlled well and his shot at goal somehow got stuck to Keimuine' s boot on the
natural grass at the Grand Stade Marrakesh. Panduleni Nekundi came on for Theophilus later on and had two great chances around 85 minutes of play, first beating the offside trap and failing to release the ball under pressure as he regrouped and then going for goal while Hanamub proved a better option on the left. Ricardo Mannetti reckons Namibia's 1-0 win over Ivory Coast on Sunday night at the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) at the Grand Stade Marrakesh gives Namibians hope as the objective remains to get out of Group B. "We still want to get out of the group and reach the quarterfinals. We now relax a bit and then get back to hard work and plan for Uganda", said Mannetti. Zambia beat Uganda 3-1 to go top of group B with Namibia second, both on three points and on Thursday, Zambia will start against Ivory Coast and Namibia will then play Uganda at 21h00 at Marrakesh.
