They started erecting their structures (shacks) at around 11:00 on Saturday morning and also made fire to cook some food they brought with them, to keep them going through the day. The Mayor of Swakopmund, Mr Juuso Kambueshe also arrived at the scene and when asked what he was doing there, he said

Bernabé Blaauw The coastal community is shocked to silence by the sudden passing of Reinhard “Vollies” Voland (50), well-known in motorcycle and sport club circles. Reinhard, better known as Vollies by everybody, passed away in die Roman Catholic Hospital in Windhoek late Sunday evening after he fell ill last week. He was a familiar
