Swakopmund's capacity to provide quality medical services is to receive a significant boost, with Khomas Medical Centre confirming it is in the process of establishing a N$30 million medical facility in Mondesa. Trümper explained Khomas Medical Centre currently employs 75 people at its medical care centre in Windhoek's Khomasdal suburb. According to her Khomas Medical Centre is one of the oldest and most established private practices in Namibia.

French flag half-mast at Walvis Bay lagoon The coast's French community yesterday at noon joined their counterparts in other parts of Namibia and the rest of the French communities globally in a minute of silence, to honour the dead in Friday's series of suicide bombings and shootings in the French capital Paris. A total of 129 people from several nationalities were killed in Friday's terror attacks and hundreds more maimed and injured.
