Judge Shafimana Ueitele noted in his judgement that it was common that these devices emitted high levels of radiation A Swakopmund resident has won a landmark case in the High Court of Namibia against mobile telephone giant MTC, after the telecommunication company ended a rental agreement not only abruptly, but also against its own terms. Now MTC has to pay Siegfried Eckleben the sum of N$326,644.73, as well as various legal costs. The case has set a new precedent in the Namibian law society as Eckleben initially struggled to find a suitable law firm that would be willing to take on the case. “I was told by various lawyers that a single person would not stand a chance against a big corporation, but I proved them wrong,” Eckleben said to namib times. The “small” Puff Adder bit Devin Klein on his right heel. Initially he thought a scorpion had gotten him, but he realised shortly afterwards that it was more serious, when blood was coming out of the wound Erwin Leuschner Swakopmund resident Devin Klein, son of prominent business man Detlef Klein, is doing well after he was bitten by a Puff Adder about two weeks ago. “Even after so many days, I still cannot wear shoes, because my foot is still too swollen,” Klein said to namib times this week. The incident happened when Klein was on a visit to his family's farm, bordering the Namib Naukluft Park. It was about 21:00 at night, when he quickly went outside and suddenly felt a burst of intense pain in his right foot. “I initially thought a scorpion had gotten me, because we see a lot of them lately,” he said. He immediately went into the house and saw a lot of blood and the two bite marks on his heel. “We then realised it was more serious,” he continues. They went outside again and quickly found the culprit: A “small” Puff Adder measuring about 30 centimetre in length. “I went to hospital in Swakopmund the same evening and was flown to Windhoek the very next day,” he says. Because of the intense swelling, the doctors initially wanted to cut his leg open, which is standard procedure with snake bites. It was Continues on page 2

Floris Steenkamp The much-debated Lovers Hill luxury hotel development on the shore of the Walvis Bay lagoon by Chinese business mogul, Bo Wang, will not be going ahead any time soon - several sources close to the project revealed this week. The struggling Chinese economy had been cited as the main reason. Chinese overseas investors have difficulty to get large sums of money transferred from China worldwide, including to Namibia. In the meantime the Lovers Hill project is cash-starved. At the municipality of Walvis Bay it was confirmed an official request was made for the local authority to grant the project more extension. Mtc to pay damages Continued from page 1 The case originates from April 2010, when Eckleben bought a smallholding on the outskirts of Swakopmund at a public auction. The plot belonged to Thilo Neumann, who was brutally murdered at his house in the beginning of the same year. Neumann had a rental agreement with MTC, which Eckleben was obliged to take over, as a condition of sale. As the house was situated on top of a small hill, MTC had set up a cell phone repeater installation on a small tower at the house, which the mobile telephone giant leased. After Eckleben bought the property, he noticed that the antennae were in very close proximity to where people would walk past and that there was reasonable concern about the level of radiation. “I managed to acquire a device to test the radiation and found it was in excess of 20 times the maximum allowable amount set by the International Commission for Non Ionising Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). It constituted a serious health risk to human beings,” Eckleben says. After he confronted MTC about this and had various meetings suggesting they build a customary “fake palm tree” antenna close by, the mobile giant instead abruptly gave written notice to terminate the lease agreement in January 2011. “But nowhere in the contract it states, that the lease may be terminated before the expiry date, which would only be in July 2016,” Eckleben continues. Nonetheless, the antenna installation was removed shortly afterwards. “It was very suspicious that they (MTC) terminated the lease agreement only after I tested the radiation level,” Eckleben says. He then decided his only recourse was to go to court and claim damages for the breach of contract. After many years, the judgement on the matter was finally delivered last week. In the document, Judge Shafimana Ueitele came to the conclusion that the termination of the lease agreement by MTC was indeed breach of contract, which entitled Eckleben to sue for damages. He ordered that MTC pays the outstanding escalated rent to the sum of N$326,644.73. Furthermore, MTC has to pay the plaintiffs costs of suit to include one instructing and one instructed council.

WAKA Bernabé Blaauw The sixth Walfisch Karnaval (WAKA) 2016 kicked off last night with the Fancy Dress/Prinzenfest at the Atlantis Sport Club with the motto “Mit Blindem Vertrauen, Hafen Bauen” (blindly trusting the harbour construction). The princely pair for this year is Prinz Konrad I der Bierlover (Hinz) and Prinzessin Anja I vom Paukeramt (Visagie). Today, at 14:11, is the WAKIKA (Kinder Karneval), followed by the International evening at 20:11. Tomorrow the Float Procession starts at 11:11 at the Municipality through town ending at Atlantis Sport Club. Once all vehicles have arrived the Kehraus will follow until late in the evening, with live music. The selection process was extremely tough and the chosen pair had to answer quite a few very difficult questions. This is how it went: How do you describe your Prince, or you Prince, your Princess? Uis battles severe Rhino poachers nabbed at Omaruru water shortages Erwin Leuschner

Erwin Leuschner

Uis has almost to no more water. Most boreholes that supply the small village close to the Brandberg Mountain in the Erongo Region have run dry. The exact extent of the crisis only emerged about a week ago – now the water utility NamWater is forced to take drastic measures and is even supplying the village by water tanker. “The situation is very serious,” Basil Calitz, owner of the Brandberg Restcamp, said to namib times. He is one of the lucky ones as he has his own borehole, where he can pump water, so that his guests can at least shower and flush the toilet, but many other residents aren't as lucky. “We are still hopeful and keep praying for rain,” Calitz continues. Even the national water utility NamWater was taken by surprise about the situation, as a letter from NamWater addressed to the Uis Property Owners Association suggests. According to the letter NamWater has for the past few months been operating only four of the

total ten boreholes in the nearby Nei-Neis aquifer, which supply the town. “These boreholes have run dry due to insufficient recharge since there has been no flows registered in the Omaruru River during the past rainy season,” it states. Last week Thursday it was reported that one of the four remaining production boreholes ceased to deliver water, which led NamWater to assume that the pump was faulty. But after a team investigated this the day thereafter, it turned out that the pump was not faulty, but instead the water level had dropped to such a level that continued operation was not possible anymore. “This means that the failure of this

borehole reduces the amount of water supplied to Uis by one third,” it further reads. According to the letter the remaining boreholes can pump only 19m³/hour, which cannot cope with the demand of village. “This resulted in the production reservoirs on the pumping scheme as well as the storage reservoir at Uis running low and eventually empty as the demand from the client cannot be sustained,” it states. In the meantime NamWater has begun to supplement the supply by a water tanker which is filled up at the small village Anichab. “The tanker stands in town and people can come and fill buckets for drinking,” a resi-

dent said to namib times. NamWater is also throttling the supply to ensure a constant reduced flow and is also connecting any other borehole, no matter how minute the supply might be. “NamWater is still investigating more permanent options like obtaining water from the “mine pits” as an interim measure until other permanent sources can be mobilised,” it states. The letter concludes: “NamWater is of the opinion that the demand of the town can be met to a large extent if substantial savings are achieved within the town as well as all end users are requested to please put all measures in place to stop leakages and wastage.”

Four suspected rhino poachers are in police custody in Omaruru, after they were caught red handed trying to kill two rhinos on a lodge close to Omaruru. “This is our biggest bust yet,” Alexander Steyn, leader of the Omaruru District Watch (ODW) said to namib times. Steyn is especially pleased with the excellent cooperation with the Namibian Police.

The incident started last week Friday, when five shots were heard on a game lodge near Omaruru. The ODW went out to investigate and found that a white rhino cow was wounded. Her calf at her side remained unhurt. The cow was shot behind the shoulder and managed to escape. A vet was called out, darted the animal and managed to patch her up. The poachers managed to escape as well. On Monday morning the ODW was called again after a further two shots were heard from exactly the same spot as three days before. “The poachers came back to finish off the cow, but they found a white rhino bull and instead shot him,” Steyn explained. The bull was hit between the shoulder and the neck and could also, miraculously, manage to escape. Together

with a vet and the police's resources protection unit the ODW tracked the wounded animal as well as the poachers. The alleged shooter was found on the same day. “We found in his possession a rifle as well as all the necessary tools, to dehorn a rhino,” Steyn said. The items inclued various knives and an axe. A second suspect was arrested in Omaruru the very next day. In his possession the ODW found the vehicle, which was allegedly used to transport the poachers. Two more suspects were arrested on Tuesday in Kalkfeld, while the fifth and last suspect is still on the run. The wounded bull was tracked on Wednesday and also darted and treated by the vet. “The rhinos are fine and will m a k e i t . We a r e extremely happy that

they survived,” Steyn continued. The four suspects appeared in the Omaruru Magistrates Court on Wednesday this week. They were denied bail and have to remain in custody. Naftalie Tjiveze (44), Jazungua Karinga (25), Thomas Shilongo (25) and Johannes Nhulipo (25) are charged with the hunting of special protected game, as well as being in possession of a firearm without a licence. The case was postponed to April 18 for further investigation. “These arrests are a big success and a blow to the rhino poaching operations in Namibia,” Steyn continued. It is suspected that the four alleged poachers have been operating in the Etosha pan, where they also hunted rhinos for the horn, before moving to Omaruru.

Mayor promises to develop “neglected” DRC Erwin Leuschner

New brooms sweep clean: Since December 2015 Swakopmund is in the hands of a capable woman. Mayor Pauline Ndahafa Nashilundo might be new in office, but she already has big plans for the coastal tourism hub. “My main focus lies on the development to DRC,” she said in an exclusive interview with namib times. What makes Nashilundo different from various predecessors? The business woman

munity have and what she can do, to address them. Nashilundo's roots in Swakopmund are ancient. It was her grandmother that came to the coast. “My mother was born here and I also hail from Swakopmund,” she says. Her school career she started at the Festus Gonteb Primary School. She also attended the Vrede Rede Primary School and Atlantic High School, before she graduated from the A Shipena Secondary School in Windhoek. Her stay in the capital was short lived though,

as she immediately started working as a clerk at various stores in Swakopmund. She then ended up at the office of Namibia Public Workers Union (NAPWU), where she until this day still holds the position as Regional Office Administrator. Nashilundo holds a certificate in Public Management and is currently pursuing a BTech Diploma through a long-distance course. Before the last Local Authority Elections a list with various candidates was submitted to t h e l o c a l S WA P O branch – she emerged victorious and acquired the top spot. “That was a big surprise, I never imagined I would come to this level and be a mayor,” she smiles. It was by mere chance that she was nominated at

the SWAPO party level, because she says she didn't even campaign for it. During the election she thought to herself, “I will embrace whatever the outcome might be. I was prepared to either win or lose.” But win she did. Now that she has become the mayor, an enormous responsibility rests on her shoulders. “But I take it one day at the time,” she says. Nashilundo is a very strong and determined woman and she requires the same determination from all council members. “We need discipline and hard work to develop the town,” she says, and adds: “We made pledges in our party manifesto to deliver on the commitment of President Hage Geingob to eradicate poverty.”

To show her commitment to Swakopmund, she has on numerous occasions already said that council must work as a team. “When we enter the council chambers we put our party colours aside. We advise each other and when council members of other parties have good ideas, we embrace them. After all, we serve in the interest of the community,” she says. Nashilundo's main focus lies on the development of the informal settlement DRC, which according to her was neglected and remained substantially unchanged since its inception in the 90's. “That is a burning issue and I want to transform DRC,” she continues. Her main aim lies in the servicing of land and offering land at an

affordable price. During her term she wishes to implement the idea of freedom and adequate life for all. “But we should not lose focus and mustn't forget the other parts of the town,” the mayor says. Although she is new in the office, she already has made a difference. It was her idea to engage the community and get ideas, before setting up the new budget for the town. Interesting enough the main issues were more or less what council already had in mind. Council will prioritise these ideas. “We still have a long way before us, but I am determined that we will make a positive difference in the lives of all residents,” she concluded.

Renovated “Café Treff” to reopen in May Erwin Leuschner

For years Café Teffpunkt, which in German means “meeting place”, has been iconic to Swakopmund like the Jetty, the Lighthouse or the Mole. Now the owners, Gerhard and Paul Pohl, have decided to let someone else take up the challenge. And this is where another Café comes into play: Café Treff will in future be run by Bobby Jo, the owner of BoJo's. “We are excited,” Bobby said to namib times. Instead of just reopening a coffee shop, she revealed that a part of the shop will be taken up by the fashion store WAGA. “But our aim is to marry the old with the new,” she continues. For one, there will still be ample seating space inside and also outside in the courtyard. Most important for Bobby is that the name “Café Treff” lives on. The interior decoration will be completely different to BoJo’s. Café Treff was initially known as the Putensen Bakery which was founded in 1903. Through the years various freshly baked goods were produced there until in 1970, the owner Walter Katzmeier, offered to sell the bakery to the Hansa Bakery. The Putensen Bakery was closed down a few years later and all baked goods were solely produced in the Hansa Bakery, which also supplied the Przybilsky Bakery as well as the Apollo Bakery in Walvis Bay. In 1978 a bomb exploded in front of Café Treff which destroyed the entire building. The Café was reconstructed in the look it carries today and reopened about a year later. Since then Café Treff has indeed become a popular place to meet and chat. “And that is exactly what we want to keep,” Bobby said. “It's been here so long, you cannot go without a Café Treff in Swakopmund,” she smiles.

The end of an era: The oldest and probably most well-known Café in Swakopmund, Café Treffpunkt, is closed. But it's actually the start to a new beginning, as the establishment with prime location in the centre of town is being renovated – a reopening is envisaged for May.

This historic picture shows the Putensen Bakery, now better known as Café Treff

Swakopmund Residents Association Newsletter no. 51, February 2016 The editor of your newsletter has taken an exceptionally long year-end break, but here we are again. Fortunately Swakopmund had a peaceful beginning for the new year with no serious reports of crime or accidents costing lives. We hope this continues.

Water crisis hits Uis

The small village Uis close to the Brandberg, northeast of Henties Bay, has been hit by a dire water crisis. Due to the prevailing drought, almost all boreholes that supply the village have run dry, forcing the water utility NamWater to supply water by road. At the time of going to press there were options on the table to consider pumping water out of the former mine pits. Many coastal residents own homes at Uis which they use as weekend getaways, whilst some former residents have established themselves permanently. Joe Kondja Amushila: MAWF is sitting on the project to develop a Water Basin Management Plan for the SwakopOmaruru River Basin which will outline the long lasting Plan to manage water resources in the Basin from which Uis town tapits water. There are off course mismanagement of water resources, there are activities that use water which should not be permitted in the area. but it seems nobody including MET is concerned. Ringo Namiseb: There s no development in Uis since indepentance, small villages those years eg. Enana, Outapi you can name if grow to towns and develop bt our GRN see Uis with blind eye... Jerome Martino: After more than 26years of independence our government did not even think of owning our 'own' declination plant???? Just emagine Uis is so close to Henties mxm! Ian J Izaacs: With the new road upgrades Uis will thrive. Cargo trucks for the North will use the Uis road. Iyambo Naruseb: Water s life bru.

President visited Navy Namibia's Head of State Dr Hage Geingob visited the Namibian Navy in Walvis Bay on Thursday, as part of his countrywide inspection of the different headquarters of the Namibian Defence Force. These included a visit to Grootfontein, the Army headquarters and the Air Force at Karibib. As the

Commander-in-Chief of the Namibian Defence Force, President Geingob had the opportunity to inspect the naval facilities at Walvis Bay and visit Namibia's naval vessel, Elephant.

The biggest change might be various new faces in council, occupying high office such as our Mayoress and vice-mayoress amongst others. Some of these faces one has never seen at council meetings over the years. May there be enough high-ranking officers to give guidance to the inexperienced. Good news is that the construction of the development “Altes Amtsgericht” has begun and at the same time the old historical building bearing the name will be renovated. Swakopmunders have been waiting a long time for that to happen. Conversely, there seems to be no progress with the sale and consequent development of the old municipal office building which is in a horrible condition and deteriorating by the day. The Municipality has granted various payment delays to the so-called buyer, Telné Properties, who made the highest offer, but have not put a cent down yet, since September last year. This is a breach of contract; and in allowing Telné Properties payment delays, council gives an advantage to them which their competitors do not enjoy. The moment Telné did not meet its obligations this contract should have been cancelled and a new one, giving other interested parties a chance, drawn up. We admire the Swakop farmers/plot owners who put up a gallant fight against Swakop Uranium Mine and staged a march through town recently in protest against the right given by Namwater to the mine to extract water from the Swakop River. The ruling party is an important share holder in the mine and has promised through Namwater, a continuous uninterrupted supply of water to the mine, completely ignoring the existence of people who under difficult conditions are trying to make a living along the river. It will be a fight of David against Goliath. From mid-December until mid-January the residents of Lions Old Age home enjoyed a noise and pollution free 4 weeks as heavy traffic was diverted to the road behind the dunes giving the elderly 4 weeks of rest and recreation. Why can't the heavy traffic make use of the road behind the dunes permanently? Café Treff has closed down. It belonged to Swakopmund just as much as the jetty or the light house. Tourists liked the restaurant very much, especially visitors from RSA who “het die heerlike Duitse koek en brood geniet, en die geur van vars koffie met die instap”

Workers employed by New Era Investments all over the country have put their tools down at their duty stations following the incident that happened in Windhoek last Thursday after an employee of New Era Investments fell from a building and sustained serious head injuries. Max Siyanga: If these allegations are true that the workers are working without protective clothes then the Union must take this matter seriously. Does these contractors have safety officers? Harald Grunewald: Minimum wages, NO overtime paid, NO protective clothing YES, ONLY the CHINESE get away with that but NOT a Namibian owned company Brigitte Thaumuller: I watch how they have to work here in Windhoek every day. SPCA wants to go bigger, better Erwin Leuschner

The Swakopmund SPCA has to urgently expand its premises to keep up with the growing demand of the town. Since its inception 46 years ago, the animal shelter has been located on the same erf, right next to the graveyard. “We have to develop parallel to the town,” the SPCA Chairperson, Peter Witt, said to namib times. Currently the Swakopmund SPCA has about 40 kennels located on its 5600 square meter erf. “It is a big erf, but we have used up all the space that was available,” Witt says. He has been the chairperson of the animal shelter for a few years and, together with his wife Heike, has transformed it into a reputable organisation. For the expansion, Witt has already had various meetings with stakeholders, including long talks with the Municipality and an architect. He has already earmarked a piece of land bordering the animal shelter to the east. “We are eying about 600 extra square meters where we want to build about 20 new, modern kennels,” Witt continues, and adds: “Swakopmund is growing rapidly and we need to keep up.” While the SPCA owns the erf where it is currently located, the extra piece of land will be leased from council, provided they approve it. They will hear the outcome of their application after the next meeting. Currently, the SPCA takes in about 400 dogs a year. These include stray animals, which were surrendered by the owners. “That is a lot for a small animal shelter like us,” Witt says. The chairperson continues to say that the SPCA generates a lot of its income through boarding. Due to space constraints, all kennels are filled during the December and Easter holidays. “If we build extra kennels we can take up more animals during these times,” he says. Will the extra piece of land applied for be enough? “We do not want a huge piece, but only ask for what we need, to keep up with the tremendous growth of the town,” Witt concludes.

Happy Independence day 21 March

the visits to Germany by President Nujoma in 1996 and 2002 and by President Pohamba in 2005 deserve special mention. Former Federal President Köhler represented Germany at the 25th Anniversary of Namibia's Independence and the inauguration of President Geingob in 2015. In 2003 then German Foreign Minister Fischer visited Namibia. In Januar 2013, Namibian Foreign Minister Nandi-Ndaitwah held talks in Berlin with then Foreign Minister Westerwelle and

then Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Niebel. In June 2014 she met present Ger-man Foreign Minister Steinmeier in Berlin. Then Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development WieczorekZeul participated in the central commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the colonial war in what was then German South West Africa. Her successor Niebel visited Namibia in 2010, 2011 and 2013. In April 2012 then German Federal

Minister of Education and Science Schavan came to Namibia to witness the launch of the "Southern African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management" (SASSCAL) in Windhoek. Similar contacts exist on the regional and local level. Examples are the twin-ning agreements between the State of Bremen and Namibia or between Windhoek and Berlin, Bremen and Trossingen as well as between Halle and Lüderitzbucht.

Intensive contacts exist between church groups, NGO's and academics of both countries as well: In the framework of around 45 university partnership agreements, 142 students came from Germany to Namibia last year while 86 students from Namibia went to Germany. In November 2015, the two governments appointed special envoys to spearhead the German-Namibian dia-logue, Ruprecht Polenz for Germany and Dr Zed Ngavirue for Namibia.

Busy Bodies would like to say a heartfelt thanks to all who helped us in doing our part for cancer.

Belgian Chocolatique raised money for Kid’s Haven Children’s Home The Belgian Choclatique in Walvis Bay wanted to do something amazing for the less fortunate. Last month they held a fundraising event called the “Guessing Game” where their customers could pay N$20 per entry fee and guess the amount of chocolate in the jar. They raised N$2 000 and with this money they provided Kid's Haven Children's Home with their everyday necessities, although they are in need of so much more. “To see how their faces lit up the moment we delivered all the groceries, was so heart-warming, we just had to create another event,” said Adelaine Bruwer, owner of the Belgian Choclatique. Currently they are housing 28 children and some come and go every week. As it is the International Day of the African Child on 16 June, Adelaine and her staff decided to start early enough in order to get the whole community involved. This event will end on 13 June, giving them enough time to gather all the money, products as well as buy all the groceries and deliver it at the Children's Home on Thursday 16 June. Sponsors can either donate money or products which Children's Home will equally appreciate.

Swakopmund gets a new The Namibia Whisky Festival A Dram'casion not to be missed Erwin Leuschner Vet Namibia's first Whisky Festival takes place on 18 and 19 March in Swakopmund, at The Dome. She is young, active and loves animals: Dr Lérica le Roux-Pullen is the new Vet in Swakopmund and she recently opened up her practice at the Ocean View Shell complex. Now the residents of the Northern suburbs don't need to travel far distances when their beloved pets need urgent attention. It was by mere chance that Lérica and her husband Vivian ended up in Swakopmund. Initially the stay of the South African couple in Namibia should have been for a short term only, but they have fallen in love with the people and the country. “We now feel like we are Namibians”, she smiles. As Lérica speaks you can see her passion for all living things in her eyes. “I help wherever I can. When I see a feral dog next to the road, I stop and give him food,” she continues. Lérica's passion for animals started at a very young age, having grown up on a farm in South Africa. “I have always been very interested in medical science, but only finally decided to become a Vet in high school,” she says. After her graduation from the University of Pretoria's Veterinary Faculty in 2007, she contributed to the veterinary circuit in various ways, amongst others managing a community veterinary clinic in Pretoria's western suburbs. After returning to Onderstepoort in 2011, she now holds a Master's Degree in Veterinary Science. It was in 2014 when her husband got a job at a Uranium Mine in the Erongo Region. “I came to Swakopmund the first time in January last year. It was interesting settling in a small town after living in Gauteng for so many years,” she says. She realised very early on that she would like to open a new clinic in this lovely town. She is very determined and once she sets her mind to it, there is little that can change that. From the onset she wanted her practice in Ocean View – and so the planning began. “Vet@the Crossing” opened its doors in the beginning of the month and works in association with Swakop Vet Clinic. At Vet@the Crossing she offers a day clinic service, with consulting rooms for primary health care, diagnostics and small procedures. More advanced procedures, like complicated operations, are referred to the Swakop Vet Clinic's theatre, who is also the after hour referral centre. Further Vet@the Crossing has a Vet shop where customers can buy veterinary recommended pet food, wholesome treats and other exclusive, imported merchandise. From the beginning Lérica has decided to make a difference in the community. She wants to establish regular community clinic services in areas where they are in dire need, working with the municipality and welfare organisations in town. Soon she will also introduce “Puppy talks” at her clinic, with the aim to teach people more about responsibility pet ownership. “I love being a vet and love teaching. I think owner education is vital,” she says.

With an FNB Reserve Lounge, a Cocktail Bar and a general cash bar area there will be lots of opportunity for visitors to sit and enjoy their golden liquid of choice. The Namibia Whisky Festival would not be complete without a few Vintage labels and the organisers have secured two sought after labels being a 40 Year Old single cask bottling Glenfarclas Family Cask by JG Grant which was laid down to mature in 1974. Only 147 bottles were yielded and has been bottled at cask strength 49.4%. The second Vintage label is Glenfarclas Family Cask 1964. This 50 Year Old single cask bottling from Glenfarclas was laid down to mature back in 1964, it only yielded

165 bottles and has been bottled at cask strength 48.3%. Both will be on sale but not available to taste. Brands which will be available to taste and purchase at the Pick 'n Pay Whisky Merchandise Store include: Bains, Ben Riach 12YO, Caolila 2003, Chivas Regal 12YO, 18YO, 25YO and Extra, GlenDronach 15YO, Jameson Select Reserve, The Glenlivet 12YO, 15YO, 18YO, 21YO and 25YO, Glenfiddich 12YO, 15YO and 18YO, Makers Mark, Nikka Pure Malt Black, Scottish Leader and Signature, Three Ships 5YO, Bourbon and Select. The organisers have arranged for the young-ones to be taken care of in the adjacent kiddies entertainment area while mom and dad taste the festival offerings. Judy Allie Event Manager and General Manager of Ugo Activations said: “This Independence weekend make sure you do not miss out on the lifestyle event which will be spoken about long after the doors close and the lights are switched off.” Judy continued: “The Namibia Whisky Festival will provide a sensory experience and a new appreciation for Whisky: its history, its distilling process and most of all its unique flavour taste profile.” Festival hours are: Friday, 18 March: 15:00 to 22:00 Saturday, 19 March: 12:00 to 22:00 The FNB Reserve Lounge, Cocktail Bar and General Bar area will remain open until 02:00am on both days.

Was nun?

jetzt wohl passiert.

"Only a normal car!", rief jemand ... Fortsetzung folgt!

Kudus tydens ‘n onlangse wedstryd in aksie
