Both died instantly after the vehicle they were travelling in was struck by the Land Cruiser (N 149-006 W) whose driver allegedly ignored a stop sign. “The name of the woman who passed away is Ms Estelle Louw (35). Her next of kin have been informed. The identity of the driver who died in the accident is being withheld until his next of kin have been informed, Kashuupulwa said. She confirmed that the

The survivors were stabilised and transported

to Walvis Bay hospital by St Gabriel Community Trust Ambulance Services. Moving scenes were observed at the accident scene when friends and relatives of the occupants of the sedan turned up when they heard about the tragic incident. One family member said that they are from Otjiwarongo and were returning from a wedding when the accident occurred. In another collision, a

The registration plates of the police van disappeared mysteriously from the crash scene. No one died in this incident. The driver of the Yaris (also a police officer according to unconfirmed reports) sustained a cut to his head and was stabilised by paramedic rescue per-
