Erongo RED's key strategic objective includes acceleration of automation. “Through this objective,thecompanyisaimingtoimplementasecure and reliable ICT infrastructure that enables business functions. We are living in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), which is mainlydrivenbytheInternetofThings(IoT).”

!Hanabeb said that apart from the automation acceleration objective, optimization and streamlining of business processes, the enhancement of customer service offerings and developing business partnerships are strategic objectives that the companyisfocusingon.“Inthecompany'squestto enhancecustomerservice,ErongoREDisaiming to develop a mobile app in order to provide value addition.”

!Hanabeb believes MTC will be able to support electrification and mitigate Erongo Red's challenges, which include access to electricity, theft, andrevenuecollection.

"We are vending through a SouthAfrican service provider,right?WhetheritistheCityofWindhoek or ourselves and all the REDs, we are vending through SouthAfrican providers, and it pains me thatindeedwemustpaysomebodysittingoutside whilstwearealsoequallylookingforcreatingjob opportunities within the country,” !Hanabeb explained.
