Walvis Bay Airport boasts new airport manager The Namibia Airports Company (NAC) has appointed Chrizelda Natasha George as the airport manager of the Walvis Bay International Airport effective from 8 February 2016. A media statement issued by the NAC on Monday said George has eight years' experience in civil aviation, which includes working as a commercial pilot; in air traffic operations; airport certification and surveillance; and in the approval of airport manuals and safety management systems. George, 29, worked for the International Civil Aviation Organisation as a senior aerodrome (airport) inspector from January 2015 and primarily assisted with
the implementation of the Namibia aviation regulatory provisions related to the operation and licensing of aero-
