Enjoy the convenience of on-going monthly payment drafts directly from your debit or credit account. A minimum 12 month payment contract agreement is required and a one-time $40 activation fee applies. Initial Monthly Rate Individual $35.60 Individual Youth $24.75 Family* $63.60 Senior Individual $28.25 Senior Couple* $51.25 The first month’s fee is prorated. All other payment drafts occur on the 1st of each month. All memberships, and subsequent monthly fees, are subject to annual price increases. Annual price increases, if applicable, take effect on October 1st of each year. Memberships are non-refundable.
All Day Pass, Punch Passes and Membership rates include tax. *To be eligible for a NRC family or senior couple membership the primary member and spouse must be legally married as recognized by the State of Idaho. In addition, only children considered legal dependents ages 18 and under may be included on a family membership. Provisions may be made to place dependent children ages 19 through 21 on a family membership. See the NRC Membership Eligibility policy for details. The NRC may ask for proof of legal dependency or a marriage certificate from anyone registering for a family or senior couple membership.

fitness Weight Room Age Policy
The weight room is reserved for individuals 15 years and older. Youth 13 and 14 years old may obtain weight room privileges by completing the NRC’s Youth Strength Training Course. The NRC offers the ZONE for 10-14 years olds and functional training under certain parameters for those as young as 6 years old. Each youth participant must complete an orientation with a trainer and sign a “Youth Training Pledge and Consent” form along with their parent before engaging in training.
The ZONE (Youth Fitness Center)
The ZONE features 9 pieces of strength training equipment specifically engineered for youth ages 10-14. Stop by or call the weight room for more information or to schedule an orientation. Member Free, Non-Member $15
Youth Strength Training Course
By successfully completing this 4-day course, youth ages 13 and 14 years will be granted use of the weight room including the free weights (some restrictions apply). This course will focus on safe, productive training and practical experience. Participants are required to attend the entire class and pass both a written and practical exam. Paddle Board FITNESS at the nampa rec center
Jump on a paddle board and enjoy the benefits of both water and land. Different fitness techniques including HIIT, yoga, muscular strengthening, balance, stretching, and relaxation will be mixed into a fun and challenging workout using a paddleboard, paddle, and resistance bands. Class is offered at no additional cost with your membership or day pass entry.

youth programs Kids in Action Day Camp-(KIA)
The Nampa Rec Center, Kids in Action day camp program is a great way to keep your kids active when school is out. Kids in Action gets your kids moving in a supervised, safe environment. Kindergarten through fifth graders stay actively engaged before and after school, or full day care is available according to the Nampa schools’ schedule, please see Day Camp calendar. Transportation is included to and from any Nampa public school with additional 50¢ charge. No commitment, you only pay for the days your child attends and credits are issued when your plans change if you call by 12:30pm. A $5 late fee will be charged if your child has not been paid for by the end of the day of attendance. Call 208-468-5858 for more information or to set up a tour to see for yourself. In this one-day class learn information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents and guardians. Traditions Tang Soo Do
This class teaches self confidence, builds self-esteem and improves balance, while establishing discipline and courtesy towards others. Participants will learn age appropriate self-defense and weapons training. These classes are non-violent; sparring is optional.
Clothing and Equipment
Students should wear loose fitting clothing, such as sweat pants and a t-shirt. No jewelry or watches during class. A mouth guard and a groin protector cup (males) are recommended. Judo
This Japanese art teaches momentum and off balancing to allow the student to throw, trip or sweep their opponent to the mats. Once on the ground, the same principles apply to control and immobilize the opponent to win a match. Safety, sportsmanship, self-discipline, cooperation and FUN are the emphasis in the youth class. Gymnastics is a great Physical foundation for kids of all ages that helps develop strength, coordination, physical fitness and self-esteem. It will help prepare children for participation in all kinds of sports. Our instructors will help guide children in a positive atmosphere that helps develop their skills and self- confidence. Each class is designed to teach progressions safely and allows the child to move at their own pace. For a current class schedule or to register, visit the Rec Center website or stop by the Program Desk. A $10 additional fee will be charged for students who register on or after the 1st of the month. The Nampa Rec Center houses five swimming pools for your exercise and recreational enjoyment. Enjoy access to the Lap Pool, Rec Pool, Deep Pool, and Kids Pool. Paddle Boarding 101
Learn the basics and be up and paddling in no time. Our intro to paddle boarding will cover introduction to equipment, safety, proper paddle usage, stance techniques and basic footwork, board maneuvers and best practices for getting on and off the board, all taught by a certified PSUPA instructor. Stand up paddle boarding requires leg strength and the ability to balance. Participants should be confident in their ability to balance themselves in a standing position. The Nampa Rec Center is proud to offer a fun and energetic home school swimming P.E. program. Children of all swimming abilities will be able to participate in activities with other children of similar skills and ages in the swimming pool. On the first day children will be split up based on swimming ability and age. During the two hour period each level group will receive a 30 minute group lesson from one of our nationally certified instructors, the rest is open recreational swimming time for the kids to interact, have fun and be active! Red Cross Lifeguard Training
This course is designed for experienced swimmers ages 15 and older that want to become Red Cross Lifeguards. Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certifications are awarded upon successful completion of the course. Course prerequisites are: 300 yard swim using front crawl and breaststroke, retrieval of a 10 pound brick from 7ft of water and two minutes of treading water with no hands. If you are unsure whether you can complete the prerequisites, sign up for a skills evaluation. Refund request must be made 4 business days before start of class. Learn about what it takes to be a lifeguard, such as recognizing a drowning victim, how to assist someone who is struggling in the water and how to perform CPR and first aid. Upon completion each student will receive an American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification. If you have a desire to become a swimming instructor this is the perfect class for you. This course demonstrates how to teach American Red Cross swimming lessons and set up lesson plans. Swim Idaho! is a way for lap swimmers to chart their progress, set goals and conquer those goals. Swimming benchmarks are: 102 miles-the distance of the Boise River, 425 milesthe distance of the Salmon River, 779 miles-the distance of the length and width of Idaho and finally 1,076 milesthe distance of the mighty Snake River. Our Adaptive Swim Lesson Program is for children and adults with special needs that may not be met through traditional swim lessons. Pickleball Lessons
Pickleball is a combination of badminton, tennis, and ping pong. It is played on a badminton size court using a wiffle ball and composite paddle. Traditions Tang Soo Do
This class teaches self confidence, builds self-esteem and improves balance, while establishing discipline and courtesy towards others. Participants will learn age appropriate self-defense and weapons training. These classes are nonviolent; sparring is optional.
Clothing and Equipment
Students should wear loose fitting clothing, such as sweat pants and a t-shirt. No jewelry or watches during class. A mouth guard and a groin protector cup (males) are recommended. If you’re looking for opportunities to exercise in the great summer outdoors, socialize, and maybe some healthy competition, then we welcome you to our league. Each league will have multiple divisions to meet the needs of each team from the more experienced A division teams to the more recreational players that are just ready to have fun in the C division. Each team will play ten regular season games with a double elimination tournament to follow. Teams may play two games a week. Games begin May 4. The Nampa Senior Center Main Dining Hall seats up to 150 people. Space available Saturdays between 8am-7pm and Sundays between 11am-6pm. Call the Rec Center for additional details and to secure your date. $195 for 4 hours ($30 each additional hour)
Ridgecrest Golf Club
Ridgecrest Golf Club provides a beautiful clubhouse that is the perfect setting for a multitude of events including weddings, receptions, parties, or reunions. Catering is available upon request. For more information and pricing call 208-468-5888.
Kohlerlawn Cemetery
Kohlerlawn Cemetery is publicly owned and operated by the City of Nampa. The Cemetery is open to visitors each day beginning at dawn and closes each evening at dusk. For burial space fees, opening and closing prices, decoration guidelines and monument setting policies, please visit our website.
Right of Way Tree Planting
This program provides City of Nampa residents help with planting appropriate trees in the Right of Way areas of their property. Two periods each year, spring and fall, provide citizens with an opportunity to participate in this program. Christmas Tree Recycling
Christmas trees may be dropped off at Kohlerlawn Cemetery beginning December 26 through January 17. Trees must be free of stands, lights and all ornamentation. Trees will be turned into mulch and used throughout our parks and trails.
