Welcome to the Pooch Party, Nampa’s largest dog festival! The Pooch Party includes a dog-swim, raffle, pet-friendly booths, 1-mile dog walk, contests & prizes. This event has grown to over 500 dogs and 1,200 people! Last year the event raised almost $18,000 for Dog Parks in Nampa!
Nampa’s Pooch Party began in 2007 as the Pooch Pool Party, a dog-only swimming event that provided funding for Nampa’s Amity Dog Park. During the event, dogs and their owners enjoyed hours of play at Lakeview pool. Today the party attracts hundreds of people and dogs and has expanded to include even more activities and entertainment for dogs and their owners. Proceeds continue to help fund general upkeep at Nampa’s Amity Dog Park as well as Nampa's new dog park, scheduled to open Summer 2023!
We invite you to partner with the Nampa Parks and Recreation Department by sponsoring the 15th Annual Pooch Party, August 26, 2023 at Lakeview Park. The Pooch Party provides a great opportunity to market your business to a targeted audience of dog owners. Your involvement would also demonstrate your support for dog parks in Nampa.

Nampa’s Amity Dog Park opened in July 2009 and has quickly become one of the most widely used parks in Nampa. This six-acre, fully fenced, off-leash dog park provides a safe place for people and their pets to socialize among expansive grassy areas, walking trails and shade shelters. In addition, Nampa's second dog park is scheduled to open Summer 2023.
The Pooch Party is one of several, ongoing fundraising efforts benefiting dog parks in Nampa. Last year the event raised almost $18,000. While significant progress has been made, we need your help to continue the general upkeep of Nampa’s Amity Dog Park, as well as help fund Nampa's second dog park. Your sponsorship dollars help fund these continued improvements.
