About Food for Peeps & Pups

Food for Peeps & Pups

Just a reminder that food banks need help now more than ever. Many people are facing hunger, and many also have beloved family pets. So please consider donating both people and pet food to local food pantries right away. They also need financial donations to assist during this abnormal time. A few local groups to consider helping include Gather NH located in Portsmouth and Footprints Food Pantry in Kittery. You can learn more on their websites. A gift of food could be the most important gift on your list this year, as according the NH Food Bank, one in seven Granite Staters don’t know where their next meal will come from. Family Scarves

There’s nothing like a snuggly scarf to help ward off the chill of winter. It’s a go-to accessory for many, and now you can have your very own design created for every member of

the family. Lionel Loveless, owner of Officially Knotted Bowties (and Route 1 Antiques too), makes beautiful custom scarves for both people and pups! He offers a vast selection of wonderful fabrics to choose from, or you can use your own fabric. A big thanks to Dwight, Gayle & Walter Eugene Davis of Senior Helpers for sharing their fun family scarf photo with us! To order, call Lionel at (603) 601-2554, email him (okbowties@gmail.com) or visit his Facebook page. Lionel also makes custom face masks to complete one’s fashion look! Anthony & His Dog Dave

We received the sweetest note from Jenn Odstrcil of Raymond, New Hampshire hoping we could feature her son Anthony’s dog in the magazine. Dave, a 7-year-old Boston Terrier, looks after Anthony. Jenn stated, “Anthony

loves your magazine, and he also loves dogs. It would make his day if you could put our Dave in the magazine! He couldn’t choose one picture, so we sent a few to choose from. We just love reading this magazine!” Well, it was hard for us to choose from the many adorable photos, but here are a few of our favs. Thanks so much, Jenn and Anthony, for your kind words and great pictures! `

Wine Time

Tis the season to celebrate…our family, friends, our health and of course our wonderful canine friends. This fun dog-themed wine glass from Drinkwater Flowers in Hampton is a great gift for a dog-loving friend or simply for yourself. Enjoy wine-time with others…or home alone with your pup! Drinkwater also offers a really great selection of wine and other unique, fun gifts for all. It’s definitely worth stopping in… and tell owner Angela Bramante that Seacoast Bark sent you.
