Other appearance of promo flyer (it can be rolled up, so people have to open it to see what it is about, or whatever) 13. Cookie with a prediction
14. Stamp like “Don’t waste your time. Come to AIESEC. ua.join-aiesec.com”. We can ask some random students for a notebook with lecture theory and put this stamp to the on of the sheets of paper there.
Classroomshouts Class presentation (Classroomshouts) - 5 min presentation before lecture to attract attention to come to the presentation. Is a very easy way of making or breaking AIESEC reputation at the universities. Ultimate goal during classroomshouts: we want to AWAKEN people’s interest high enough to get them to come to the informational meeting. That is the only possible goal. We CAN’T explain what AIESEC was, is and will be. We have only 2-5 minutes! Preparation 1. Define which classes to attend (according to our target audiences). It is also advised to choose lectures with highest attendance rate to reach more people at one time. 2. Make a schedule for class presentations. 3. Select and prepare the speakers. Although class presentations can help members to overcome fear of public speaking and to improve their presentation skills, the goal of class presentations is to effectively promote AIESEC. Prepare! Educate members on how to sell AIESEC properly. It is advisable to have 2 people per lecture: 1 speaker and the one who helps distribute the handouts. 4. Contact teachers. Ask professors for permission to take 5 minutes during their class as much in advance as possible. It’s much easier to contact teachers who are aware of AIESEC from previous years. If not, then explain briefly what AIESEC is and ask permission to make an announcement for students on behalf of AIESEC. Suggestion for Class Room Presentation Flow 1. Introduce yourself 2. Introduce AIESEC. Use maximum 3-5 sentences to describe briefly AIESEC globally 3. Promote Presentation and Recruitment Events. It is strongly recommended to use sign-up papers (our flyers). Then we can use students’ e-mails to remind them about upcoming events. Try to write the date of the event on the whiteboard so that students can observe it during the whole lecture. Try to mediate local website address and/or Facebook group along with the date. Don’t forget to tell about application deadline. 4. Thanks and goodbye. If you have distributed sign-up papers, then collect them when the class is over to avoid further disturbance of lecture flow.
Presentation GUIDELINE Presentation are one of the most powerful tool for promoting members opportunity and one of the best ways to get AIESEC more known in campus. This is why you need to invest time in preparing them so that they bring the expected results. This documents includes tips&tricks about what to do before, during and after the presentation. Before the presentation Agenda Creation
Logisctic setup Promotion
Agenda Creation:
The agenda of the presentation should last for up to 45 minutes. After that, it’s strongly recommended to have mingling time of 30-60 minutes so that participants ask more specific questions. Make sure that all the speakers have good presentation skills. The way we package our product is really important, so the speakers need to convey the messages clearly.
Logistic setup
Book a room in a location that is convenient for the students in your target groups Buy everything you need for the mingling after the presentation Prepare arrows and directions towards the presentation room Be at the location 30 minutes before the presentation is supposed to start to
make sure that you run the presentation on the computer once, so that you can check the compatibility of presentation with the computer
set the sound of the speakers accordingly
set up the projector and check it
set up chairs in the room accordingly, so that the screen is visible to all and they can also hear everything
prepare welcome packages (optional): can include flyers or other printings (such as presentation agenda, info about application deadline and website link) and pens
prepare badges for all AIESECers who participate in AIESEC presentation
Promotion
Promote the presentation through Facebook/Vkontakte events, lecture bashes, info stands, by word of mouth Don’t rely on the fact that all the people who confirmed the attendance on Facebook/Vkontakte. That is just an estimation.
During the info-meeting Welcome the students
Ask the audience to fill in an attendance sheet so that you have their emails and you can follow up on it. You can also create small blank business cards that you give people at the entrance and you collect them in a box at the end.
Be available for questions. Answer them correctly or redirect the student to someone who has the answer
Pay attention to what is happening (if your product is not interesting enough for you, why would it be for them?)
After the presentation
Send in the first 24 hours a thank you note to everybody that attended the presentation. Include the link to the website and the link for the application form

Important thinks to keep in mind for presentation. 1. Your language: avoid internal AIESEC acronyms. You have to use normal external equivalent of our internal terminology to ensure students understand your message. 2. Behavior of AIESECers: very important. You set the first impression about LC and organization as a whole. Thus, discuss in advance how should all of you behave and position: will you make it in official/inofficial form etc. 3. Keep things simple & basic (students should not leave presentation feeling confused). Do not overload them with information about our organization. 4. Remember: our aim is to deliver the key messages which people attending AIESEC presentation would be able to relate to 5. An presentation should ideally be started on time and the total time duration of the seminar should not be more than 45 min. 6. Think of info meeting’s concept. How do you plan to attract students? 7. Think of guests. Do you have contacts of recent alumni willing to share his/her story? Do you have EP who has just come back from his/her internship? Do you have partner who is cooperating with your LC for a long time and can prepare short story about mutual benefits? Do you have incoming intern who is successfully integrated in LC activities? 8. Think of follow-up/closing. What about having mingling after info meeting while offering coffee and cookies to attendees? It will be easier for some of the students to approach AIESECers and ask questions they are interested in during unofficial time. For all members of AIESEC in Ukraine, before you pitch AIESEC to any friend or interested student, make sure that you go through this document once. If you’re still unsure about something, always approach the EB.
