DAYS 6–12 I SYDNEY, TASMANIA, AND ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA Fly to Sydney and tour the Rocks district and the Opera House before a Harbour cruise lunch. In the Tasmanian port of Hobart, visit the Cascades Female Factory and encounter Tasmanian devils at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Sample local whiskey; then enjoy a private dinner at the Museum of Old and New Art. Visit the historic prison at Port Arthur or take a foodie or walking tour. In Adelaide, see kangaroos and koalas at Cleland Wildlife Park; dine at the Penfolds Magill Estate; and go wine tasting in Barossa Valley.
DAYS 1–5 I QUEENSTOWN, ROTORUA, AND NAPIER, NEW ZEALAND Arrive in Queenstown and set off on jet boat ride on the Shotover River. Take a scenic helicopter ride over the mountains and the Milford Sound. Observe kiwis with a zoologist or go wine tasting in Central Otago and gather for lunch at a renowned wine estate. Fly to the North Island to learn about Maori culture in Rotorua before staying two nights at a renowned lodge near Napier.
DAYS 13–20 I ULURU, BROOME, WINTON, CAIRNS, AND MELBOURNE Fly to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to experience the sacred rock of Uluru and learn about Aboriginal culture. In Broome, stay in a resort on Cable Beach. Soar by seaplane to the Kimberley for a fast boat adventure through Horizontal Falls and a chance to see sharks up close. Fly to Winton to visit the world’s largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils; then continue to Cairns and explore the Daintree Rainforest and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. In Melbourne, visit the Koala Conservation Reserve, witness the Penguin Parade, or tour the Old Melbourne Gaol. Take a walking tour or cruise the Yarra River before our farewell dinner.
