At the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, observe orphaned orangutans and learn about efforts to protect them. Then see rescued sun bears at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Sail to Bunaken National Park, a thriving marine park at the heart of the Coral Triangle. Go snorkeling or diving, and spot sea turtles while kayaking through the mangroves. Meals: 4B, 4L, 4D DAYS 1–5 I U.S./HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON), VIETNAM/CON DAO NATIONAL PARK Fly overnight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). DAYS 10–14 I AT SEA/PALAU/U.S. Take advantage of the ship’s amenities as we sail through the Coral Triangle to Palau. Here, see the vestiges of a fierce World War II battle on Peleliu Island, or head to the Rock Islands for a swim among thousands of stingless jellyfish.
