Nat Murphy

I've been composing since I was about 13. I was originally an art student who composed on the side, but now I just consider myself an artist. I have to be creating something at all times, so I find myself caught between a couple of projects at any one time. I've written all types of scores from solo works, to chamber pieces (including 3 string quartets), various pieces for orchestra (including an hour long oratorio), and even an opera and a symphony for band. If you like what you hear and would like to commission me I should be up for anything. I consider myself a composer, a musician, an artist, a painter, a writer, and an occasional performer - I just love / live to create!
