New Supervisor Spotlight—Cory Griffith
Hello! I am very excited to join the team here as the new Senior Center Supervisor and look forward to meeting all of you. I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. I look forward to coming up with new ideas to continuously improve the Senior Center.
Now I would like to tell you a little about myself. I love being active. Physical and mental wellness are very important to me, and I love to share that passion with others. I ran a marathon last year, and plan to run another in 2017. I play a wide variety of sports, enjoy hiking and rock climbing, and spending time with my fiancé, Cassandra. I am an avid Blackhawks fan, and watch every game throughout the season. When it is playoff time, Cassandra and I are superstitious and have a particular restaurant where we will watch every game. I also love math, science and technology. If you ever want to chat about these topics or about anything in general, I love having great conversations.
Stop by and I’d be happy to tell you more about myself, learn about you, or to simply talk with you. I look forward to our time together and hope to provide programs and services you will enjoy.

I’m so glad I learned about Medicare’s 30-day window
We had just gone home from a skilled nursing and
