GREAT NEWS!!!! The international lead Club will be the Newport Irvine CA USA Club. Additional International co-sponsors for the over 600 wheelchairs are needed. This pilot assembly project’s goal is to provide employment in Africa, reduce the transport cost from seaport to eventual recipients home and to increase the number of wheelchairs distributed by documenting and reporting distribution in the land locked countries of central African to potential donor/sponsors. The first sponsored 600 wheelchairs will be targeted for District 9210: Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Upon completion of the pilot it is hoped that we will be able to distribute Rotary sponsored wheelchairs throughout Central Africa. For a Club’s commitment tof $1250 with an additional $1250 DDF twenty wheelchairs into the hands of vetted recipients delivered by the local Rotary Clubs in the central African land locked region. Your Club can pick a village or area that is dear to your Club or members and sponsor 20 delivered wheelchairs. Please contact Bob Selinger Immediately to join in as a
