The people in the Bible said, “Jesus came in the name of the Lord.” That means Jesus is God’s special Son who came to help people become close friends with God. That’s why we celebrate Jesus. (Hooray, Jesus!)

The crowds cheered for Jesus. They hoped he’d help them and make their lives better. And he would! But it would be in a different way than they expected. Jesus would show people how much God loved them. He’d die on a cross, which would be sad. But he’d come back to life, which would be happy! Let’s praise and celebrate Jesus now. Do what I do.
