PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION The Section of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Nationwide Children’s Hospital specializes in the diagnosis and management of children with physically disabling conditions. Our physicians are boardcertified specialists in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with additional certification in pediatric rehabilitation medicine and are members of the departments of Pediatrics, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. In addition, Carl D. Gelfius, MD, is board certified in electrodiagnostic medicine. Carl D. Gelfius, MD, Karl Klamar, MD, and Reginald D. Talley, MD, are board certified in brain injury medicine. Talley, MD Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation was actively involved in the teaching of medical students, medical residents and fellows over the past year. We offer a pediatric rehabilitation rotation to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents from Larkin Community Hospital and the Palm Spring Branch of Larkin. Presentations on pediatric rehabilitation, concussion, neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, spasticity management and pediatric traumatic brain injury were made at local, regional, national and international levels.
