Welcome to the 2022 Fall Activities Guide! Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! The Collier County Public Schools Activities Guide is a one-stop shop for out-of-school activities for students and families in the community. It is designed to provide parents of CCPS students a resource for identifying various opportunities during non-school hours for academic programs, after-school care, the arts, clubs and organizations, camps, special attractions, and more. During the school day, we have several new opportunities to announce for 2022-23 school year. CCPS students in grade five now will learn entrepreneurship within their weekly schedule of subjects. Expanding entrepreneurship to elementary students will bolster what is already offered at our middle and high schools. Also, high school students will have the opportunity to be dual enrolled in CCPS and the Florida Gulf Coast University Daveler & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship. Students now have a pipeline of entrepreneurship teaching and learning from elementary all the way through post-secondary. CCPS also is expanding engineering opportunities to all our elementary schools, specifically to students in grade four. This means engineering will be offered at all levels, at all schools: elementary, middle, and high. This year, we will continue to grow the CCPS Alumni Association, where we invite our graduates – local and around the world – to reconnect and register by visiting www.collierschools.com/alumni. Developed in partnership with Neapolitan Family Publishing, the guide is distributed to students across the district three times each school year: fall, spring, and summer. Our goal is to be all-inclusive and give as many businesses and organizations as possible the opportunity to participate by listing their activities and resources, free of charge. As you plan for the year ahead, we hope you find the information enclosed useful and enjoy this guide. We are fortunate to live in a community with such a wide range of activities and opportunities for today’s learners and tomorrow‘s leaders.
