Welcome to the 2022 Spring/Summer Activities Guide! We are wrapping up another phenomenal school year, and our #CCPSFamily should be proud of all that was accomplished. State Champions, District All-Stars, academic competitions, musical talents, special events, theater performances, and field trips—we were happy to celebrate it all! Now, as we count down to graduation, thoughts of summer begin to take form. Parents will likely start searching for camps and activities to keep their children engaged and learning while school is out. The 2022 Spring/Summer Activities Guide was developed to help parents in this process. It is a convenient resource featuring the many different programs, activities, and events available in our area. Enclosed you will find information on summer camps, tutoring, sports programs, music and art classes, and so much more. Participating in camps, sports programs, and various classes can contribute to a child’s physical and emotional well-being. There are great benefits to staying active, connecting with peers, and spending time outdoors. The connections and relationships formed provide a sense of belonging. Being outdoors and taking in the sunshine can relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. With mental health being top of mind, I am happy to see all the options available to families in the guide.
