Come and join the Angel Family! See what some of our loyal customers have to say! $75 OFF Deep Spring Cleaning Special on 20 years in the business to Donna and her teams. C ongratulations Donna and The Cleaning Angels initially came to my home in 2010 to offer an evaluation of my cleaning needs. It took only one visit to recognize that their service was considerably different than my previous ones. Their reliability, honesty and dedication to excellent service has proven itself again and again. -Michelle Marquis, Clearwater, Florida We have used The Cleaning Angel Cleaning Service for the past two and a half years. Every two weeks we are more than satisfied with the service especially with Ileah who has been the head of the cleaning team that services our home. Their work is a very thorough professional cleaning. They are always prompt, courteous, trustworthy and willing to adapt to our schedule. Along with the regular cleaning each time, they include the baseboards, light fixtures and ceiling fans, blinds and much much more. Our home is always sparkling every time. -Sue and John Kelly Wyntree, New Port Richey, FL I hired the Cleaning Angels over a year ago to help keep my house clean, so I would have time to pick up more shifts at work, to help make ends meet. On my initial interview with Donna Ferrante, she came to my home and we walked through the house together. She gave details of her business and work ethic and expectations for customer satisfaction. Donna and her staff are extremely personable and very professional. I feel like everyone cares if I am satisfied or not. The Cleaning Angels staff has gone above and beyond to work with my husband and my difficult work schedules. I highly recommend the Cleaning Angels to assist in housing maintenance. They do a great job, they are reasonably priced, and with the time I save from having to clean the house myself, I am able to pick up extra shifts at work and do other errands and chores. Love, Love, Love!!!! -Jennifer Mugianis, Tarpon Springs, FL We have used The Cleaning Angel for just over a year and I wonder how we ever got by without them! Our first meeting was with the company's owner, Donna; she made us feel very confident and comfortable about the service her company would be providing. Donna assured us that what was promised would be delivered because it was her name on the line. As business owners ourselves the message was loud and clear and we decided to give them a try. The Cleaning Angel has provided the phenomenal service that Donna promised and more. Our regular team, Ivonne and Anna are dependable, honest, pleasant, hardworking and efficient. They come in and get the job done. Thank you "Cleaning Angels" for making the task of maintaining my home easier on me! -Esther and Michael Halman, Crescent Oaks, Tarpon Springs, FL

Before I started with the Cleaning Angels, I had tried numerous cleaning services. I was never happy with the results until I met Donna six years ago. She actually was still cleaning herself at that time. Congratulations for expanding your business and making it to 20 years. The service is always excellent - they are prompt, efficient, professional, and their appearance is always great. They always have the correct products and equipment and their attention to detail goes above and beyond. My current lead is Ileah and she has been cleaning my house for several years and I just love her. I am very active in the Trinity community and have recommended the Cleaning Angels to many people. -Sandy Alekson, Champions Club, Trinity, FL

Nine years ago, I was looking for a cleaning lady and found Donna. At that time she went by Donna’s Cleaning Service. She cleaned my home herself for about two years. When she broke her foot and had to hire girls to help out, I initially was concerned. However that concern was short lived as Donna trains her girls to clean exactly like she does. Since then these girls come into my home and do their magic. I have many disabilities and they go way beyond to make sure that my house is clean and that I am happy. They do special things for me to make my life easier. I want to thank Sandy who use to clean my home and now is in the office with Donna. Congratulations for all your accomplishments Donna! -Fran Mischler, Port Richey, FL I have had the great pleasure of hiring and being in the company of the Cleaning Angels Cleaning Service. They are incredibly accommodating and have superior customer service. I have rarely come across a service organization that is so professional and extremely pleasant to work with. Every time "the Angels " come to my house, it gets better and better. Budget cuts have hit the majority of Americans, but I will give up other things before I would ever consider giving up "my Angels". -Tina Redmond, Keystone Bluffs, Tarpon Springs, FL The Cleaning Angel has been a consistent and dependable cleaning service, working around our family, house guests and home construction. They have been responsive to our special requests and once they know what we like, they provide great value added customer service. I would recommend them to others. -Susan Rolston, East Lake Woodlands, Oldsmar, FL I was looking for a cleaning service and was referred to The Cleaning Angels. I didn’t think they would come this far but called them anyway and they were more than happy to put me in their schedule. I live a 440 West and the girls are cleaning up this town. There have been a lot of unhappy people in the Clearwater Beach area and now word is out. We finally found the best. Congratulations Donna and so happy to have found you. -Katherine Sullivan, Clearwater Beach, FL As far as I am concerned there is only one cleaning service in the Tampa Bay area and that is the Cleaning Angels. They came into my home the first time and did a deep spring clean and was I ever blown away. I have never seen a cleaning service do the detail work these girls did. Donna sent four girls and they stayed for seven hours and my home is about 2700 sf. They hand washed all my baseboards, did the blinds in a three step process, washed every door and door frame in the whole house, moved every little knick knack and got into every little corner possible. Two weeks before I used a different service that promised a spring clean. They sent two girls that stayed in my home for 2-½ hours. After throwing my money away I was referred to Donna by someone in Land o Lakes. I’ve told many people if you are looking for your home to be cleaned correctly, don’t waste your time on other maid services. Call the Cleaning Angels if you want it done right and you will never have to find anyone else. Congratulations on your 20 years and hope you have many, many more. -Betty Bennett, Odessa, FL

ter than the “big guys.” Competition is not a bad thing. A marketplace of tens of thousands of small businesses is the best way to ensure innovation and above all, low prices. For example, there are hundreds of restaurants within any given city, some of which operate right next to each other. This is necessary in a thriving economy. Can you imagine if there was only one type of each business in each town? The price of a cheeseburger would be astronomical! Entrepreneurship is what fuels

By Matthew Selby In today’s rough economy, small local businesses are closing their doors on a daily basis, while many big corporate businesses still have the investors and financial backing to pull through. There is nothing wrong with national companies by any means, but by spending our money in locally owned businesses we can help our local economy flourish instead of decline. When we spend money locally, we contribute to the wellbeing of the entire community. Local businesses build strong vibrant towns, linking neighbors in a web of economic and social relationships. Local ownership ensures that important decisions are made by people who live in the community and thus will feel the impact of each decision they make directly. Many local businesses recycle excess revenue by giving back to the community in which they live, which enriches the area and creates an even better place to live and love. Pinellas County Commission Approves East Lake Community Overlay The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously in a 7-0 vote on Jan. 24, 2012 in favor of approving the Community Overlay for the East Lake Community of 33,000 residents. The Board of County Commissioners will utilize a community overlay to define East Lake Tarpon as a cohesive community and their decisions will support the local vision, community character and natural environment of the area. Small businesses support the residential character of the community. Maintaining the community’s quality of life, low density residential character, and expansive open spaces is to be considered before any zoning changes or increased densities are considered. The next step in this process will be for the State to approve the document and then it will be incorporated into the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan.

6

The Overlay document is the result of over two years of public meetings and collaborative planning sessions with the residents and businesses in the East Lake area. It joins three other community overlays the county has approved in Alderman Road, Tierra Verde and Ozona. It has been publicized in several newspaper articles and discussions with communities and businesses, service groups and posted on the CNCN website for discussion. For more information on the Overlay: Access the CNCN website www. cncnpc.org, access the Pinellas County Planning Department website at www.pinellascounty.org/plan/community_planning.htm. Muvico Theaters Palm Harbor 10 – Better Than Ever! By Amy Paterson Muvico Theaters Palm Harbor 10, located at 37912 US Highway 19, has been a favorite venue for locals for the past 17 years. The comfortable and friendly home-town theater enjoyed by so many of us over the years was beginning to show a bit of wear, but not anymore! If you haven’t visited lately, you’ll feel like you are entering a brand new movie theater. Muvico Palm Harbor 10 recently had a complete makeover and added several new features to further enhance your movie-going experience. Now equipped with three 3-D houses, one D-BOX house, and completely new surround-sound speakers; Muvico Palm Harbor 10 is taking audiences to a whole new level of entertainment. Going to the movies is always a great treat; a little block of time to let your mind escape the everyday and indulge in bigger-than-life action while watching favorite stars on the big screen. There is something nostalgic about the smell of freshly popped popcorn thick in the air as you enter to

pick your seat and settle in; everyone chatting amongst themselves, as they anxiously await the start of the movie. Finally, the lights dim and the audience stills as the movie reel begins. I was 13 years old in 1995 when Muvico opened in Palm Harbor. My friends were equally as excited as I was about the new movie house, because this gave us something to look forward to every weekend for years to come! This movie theater that has housed some of the greatest memories of my youth – in line with friends, movie posters up in lights, excitedly discussing which one to see next – will always hold a special place in my heart. It is an honor to share all of the improvements that our local Muvico has recently made with Neighborhood News & Lifestyles readers. Mondays at Mixers will be your Bazingo destination; Bazingo is a live bingo game mixed with a DJ that plays your favorite music while you take the chance to win big! Trivia Tuesdays give everyone a chance to test their trivia knowledge in a friendly competition. Wednesday nights is hospitality night, so those who work in the hospitality industry are offered 20 percent off of your bill. Thursdays are Ladies’ night and ladies drink free from 9-12. Fridays and Saturdays, Mixers is your karaoke destination; come out and be a rock star! You will notice the walls inside are lined with caricatures and you may be asking yourself who these people are. Are they athletes? Movie stars? Politicians? Well possibly a few, but for the most part they are regular customers who have been patrons of Mixers for years. Tony used to pay a caricature artist to come in and spend a few hours to sketch his customers. This was an immediate hit with all concerned and eventually the walls became covered in the framed caricatures. Unfortunately, the artist

I’m sure he would love to find someone who can pick up on this fun tradition. In addition to great drinks, Mixers has an excellent food menu with daily specials. This is not your typical “bar food.” Mixers’ food is fresh and made to order. Daily food specials are made directly from Tony and Nancy’s own recipe books, such as roasted leg of lamb, corned beef sandwiches, soups made from scratch, and freshly

made chicken salad. The regular menu consists of some all-time favorite foods like chicken wings, burgers, grouper sandwiches, shepherd’s pie, and so much more. Tony brings a taste of Ireland to Palm Harbor, as he is an Irishman true and through. He says, “It’s not an Irish Pub, but a pub run by an Irishman.” There is a day this month that you would think Mixers were a true Irish pub, and that is St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th. St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at Mixers are known for being the best around. It doesn‘t get more

authentic than the ‘real Irish’ menu and entertainment that Mixers has lined up for the day. This St. Patrick’s Day will feature Irish musicians, Irish dancers, and of course, the bag pipes to entertain you while you drink green beer and sway along. Mixers will have a special menu for the day consisting of all the Irish favorites. Tony and Nancy will be serving Dublin Coddle, Irish fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage, and Irish stew. Every year the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Mixers is a hit, so get there early for a seat, and don’t forget to wear your green!

After the St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza, don’t fret, there is another party that you can check out the following Wednesday, March 21st. Tony and Nancy are counting down the days to the end of the Mayan calendar which, as most everyone knows, ends December 21st of 2012. There are those who claim this will be the end of times for us all, so Mixers has decided to embrace the idea in a lighthearted way and party like there’s no tomorrow. Each month on the 21st, there will be a party to countdown to the end. There is even a digital clock that is counting down the time to 12/21/12. Tony and Nancy bring more than 40 years of combined experience in the service industry to Mixers Bar and Grill, providing everything customers need and want to make Mixers the favorite bar and grill in town! Mixers Bar and Grill is located at 3430 East Lake Rd. in Palm Harbor, and is open every day, 11 a.m. – 3 a.m. Happy Hour is daily from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. For more information, visit mixerspalmharbor.com or call (727) 787-2710.

Every Detail Counts when Creating Japanese Cuisine at the Lazy Maguro Restaurant

By Julie Kanehl Sushi is meant to be an art form created by masters of their craft who have been taught for many years by another master, and is then taught master to apprentice, generation after generation. The culmination of years of hard work and dedication, and an incredible eye for detail can be seen in the beautifully prepared dishes at the Lazy Maguro Japanese Restaurant, where sushi and dumplings are their specialties.

This brand new restaurant is located in the Brooker Creek Shopping Center (between Publix and Vetture’s Restaurant & Pizzeria. While this Japanese Fusion restaurant has taken the place of a similar style restaurant, Lazy Maguro is an entirely different experience. The good news is spreading, and Lazy Maguro is becoming known for providing diners with an amazing array of Japanese cuisine that is authentic, fresh, and really delicious. Owner and Master Sushi Chef, Rexley Kwok, is a true artist when it

comes to the food he prepares. Kwok creates food that is as beautiful to look at as it is to taste. Kwok’s sushi bar is complete with refrigerated compartments for each of his ingredients. He says, “I use only the finest sushi-grade fish and the freshest ingredients.” Kwok began working in the restaurant business in 1999, which is where he met his mentor, Hiro Ida San, who is a Master Sushi Chef from Tokyo. Hiro Ida San takes on only a few students, and Kwok was one of the lucky few who have had the opportunity to work and learn under his tutelage. After five years of working with his mentor, Kwok became the Master Sushi Chef at the Fuji Japanese Restaurant in Boca Raton, and then the Jadefire Japanese restaurant in Hudson before opening Lazy Maguro. Kwok is at the center of this restaurant, and he carefully created the entire menu himself. His radiant

personality is prevalent in every aspect of the dining experience, and customers enjoy coming back to visit with him. The beautifully designed dining room and accompanying sushi bar provide plenty of seating for small or large parties, and the Japanese motif sets the perfect tone for a night out with that someone special, a girls’ night, or a healthy family dinner. One thing is for sure, there is something for everyone on this menu. Many people have found themselves at Lazy Maguro for their fun and affordable drink menu. They have some really unique items: Lychee and plum sangrias are affordable and very tasty, and if you are in the mood for something frozen, there is a selection of really exotic drinks that make going out for Japanese food that much more exciting. For lunch and dinner, Lazy

The staff and Master Sushi Chef at Lazy Maguro make every dining expericnce out-of-this-world with an amazing selection of sushi, dumplings and more. Maguro has an offering of elegant sushi/salad fusion dishes that are perfect as an appetizer or as a part of a larger meal. To give you an idea, there’s a sushi sampler, a seaweed salad, and something called an Ika Poki, which is a raw squid, masago, seaweed and cucumber salad that is served with poki sauce. Many people mistakenly believe that sushi means “raw fish,” but sushi literally means “vinegared rice” in Japanese. Sushi can be made with any number of ingredients, cooked or raw, and often includes vegetables, fish and wasabi or cream cheese. When sushi is made properly, it is like eating a present that explodes with flavor. Every time you take a bite, the different tastes blend together and create an experience that is a bit addictive. “I wanted to learn the art of making sushi, and was very happy when I got to work with my master,” says Kwok, who enjoys educating anyone who is interested in Japanese cuisine. He explains that Sushi is a delicate balance of fresh ingredients, texture and temperature saying, “Sushi is meant to be eaten fresh.” The sushi is large by local standards, and unique in that every ingredient can be tasted. It’s almost like a fine wine in that each element works

together to complement the next. The portions are generous, and there are many different kinds of sushi rolls to choose from including common favorites like the California Roll, the Shrimp Tempura Roll, and the Spicy Tuna Roll. In addition to traditional favorites, Lazy Maguro also offers specialty sushi rolls like the Dragon Roll, which is made of shrimp tempura, masago, krab stick, inari, cream cheese and topped with avocado and eel sauce. The Buccaneer Roll, the Miami Heat Roll, and the Tropical Wild rolls are also very popular. The Tropical Wild Roll has a delightful infusion of fruit mixed in with traditional sushi ingredients, and it is an absolute musttry! In addition to rice-on-the-outside sushi, seaweed sushi is also available, as well as Cuki style sushi , which is a very healthy sushi meal made with a cucumber shell that is cut into sheets as thin as paper, and without the rice. “My motto is that every detail counts. Every piece of rice is important when making sushi,” says Kwok. In summary, the sushi portion of the menu at Lazy Maguro is impressive. Every item is accompanied by a detailed explanation of what the sushi roll is made out of. In fact, the sushi menu will also tell you whether the sushi is raw or cooked, which makes

newcomers feel a lot better about trying something new! Kwok makes his customers feel welcome and comfortable from the start. Together with his mother and brother, and an almost entirely American wait staff, customers can feel comfortable enjoying their sushi experience, whether they are trying it for the very first time, or coming back because it’s their favorite. If you are in the mood for something other than sushi, there is a lot to choose from. The dumplings at Lazy Maguro are unique and delicious. Dumplings can be made with pork, chicken or seafood centers, and prepared in a number of ways. Their most popular dumpling is the “Asian Ginger Style” Dumpling, which is topped with Asian sweet and sour sauce and shredded ginger, but their other offerings are just as popular. There’s a BBQ inspired dumpling called the “Cheesy Porky Style,” the “Spicy Azuki Style” is covered with miso sauce and azuki beans, and a “Dynamite Style” includes baked scallops, mayo and masago, topped with Italian cheese, and that’s just to name a few of them. Lazy Maguro’s dumplings are plump, tender and tasty. In addition to traditional sushi and dumplings, Kwok also offers a de-

licious tempura menu that includes chicken, eggplant, and calamari. The tempura batter is crispy and light, making high marks with people who love Asian cuisine. There’s also a Teriyaki section and a noodle section on the menu, which means that there is something for everyone. After dinner, you must try one of their delicious dessert options, one of which is an absolute must. It’s called the Cinnamon Sin. Looking for something fun? How about Mochi? It’s an Asian treat that is ice cream in a soft candy shell that you can eat with your hands! Maria Ray, who just tried Lazy Maguro for the first time said, “I will definitely come back again. The food is delicious and the portions are generous.” Lazy Maguro is located at 36221 East Lake Rd. S in Palm Harbor. The restaurant is open Tues. – Thurs., 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.; Fri. hours are 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 12 a.m.; Sat., 4:30 p.m. – 12 a.m.; and Sun., 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. For more information visit their website at www.lazymaguro.com or call (727) 7846020.

“Spine Center” Continued from page 1 Center realize that surgery is not always the only solution to a problem. Dr. Siddiqi and Dr. Hayes agree that their primary goal is to improve each patient’s pain and discomfort with conservative care, where possible. Depending upon the severity of the problem, spinal surgery may be the only option; if so, Dr. Hayes and Dr. Siddiqi are two of the finest surgeons in the region who focus on managing their patients’ care beyond the operating room. They have put together an exceptional team of physicians who work with one another to ensure that every patient is getting the best care possible. “We have a shared philosophy here,” explains Dr. Jorit Wijnmaalen, DPT, MBA, MTC, who is the Director of the Trinity Spine Wellness Center. “One of the most important aspects of our patient care is the communication that we have with one another. We are never more than a phone call away and patients see that and really appreciate it.”

Introducing Dr. Casey O’Donnell The newest physician of Trinity Spine Center is Casey J. O’Donnell, DO, FAAPMR DABPM. Dr. O’Donnell is a Physiatrist with specializations in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He moved here from the northeast and even though he has only been with Trinity Spine Center since January 3 of this year, he says that he has already bonded with many patients. When I met Dr. O’Donnell, it was easy to see how his patients love him; he is open and friendly, with a kind demeanor that puts you at ease. Dr. O’Donnell is excited to be working with likeminded physicians. He has known Dr. Hayes and Dr. Siddiqi for a long time and was friends with Dr. Siddiqi even before the two attended medical school. Dr. O’Donnell completed medical school at the University of New England – College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002, followed by his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UMDNJ/Kessler Institute in New Jersey, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident during his senior year. He utilizes diagnostic tools such as EMG/NCS (electromyography and nerve conduction studies (for carpal tunnel syndrome, diabetic neuropathy, etc.) and ultrasound which allows “live action” viewing of the tissues. Some of the procedures he performs include: epidural steroid injections and facet injections (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar); trigger point injections; nerve blocks; SI joint injections; Botox injections for blepharospasm, cosmesis, cervical dystonia, focal dystonia, sialorrhea, and spasticity using electrostimulation, electromyography and palpation; plus many more such as ultrasound guided injections. Trinity Spine Center is hosting its 3rd Annual Patient Appreciation Day and Open House on April 7, 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Like last year’s event, there will be fun for all, plenty of good food and refreshments, an Open House, and informational lectures regarding chiropractic, nutritional and spinal care. Dr “J” is heading up the event and has some new things planned for this year. The Ironman competitor teases, “I exercise just a little.” In an effort to help folks realize that exercise can be fun and beneficial, Dr. “J” has planned a 5K and a onemile “run/walk/crawl.” He says, “We want everyone to know that this is a fun, non-competitive event. I don’t care if they run, walk or crawl; our objective is to provide a way to get people inspired. It’s not about winning; it is about motivating yourself, saying, ‘Yes, I can do that.’” Participation in the non-competitive run is free and includes a t-shirt, and you don’t have to be a patient to participate. In fact, the Patient Appreciation Day and Open House is a great time to meet the doctors and staff of Trinity Spine Center in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Trinity Spine Center accepts Medicare and most major insurances and is happy to accept new patients. Since opening, Trinity Spine Center has treated more than 11,000 patients. The Lucky Dill has been a favorite eatery in the area for years, and now the new location on US 19 N in Palm Harbor has even more room for guests. The corned beef and pastrami were both perfectly spiced and served on delicious, warm, melt-in-yourmouth rye bread. When I tasted the Bronx Burger, I was in heaven. The Bronx Burger is one-half pound of burger with melted cheddar cheese, grilled onions and apple-wood smoked bacon all piled skyscraperhigh on a delicious sesame bun. Brown Bag Lunches of Pinellas – A Grassroots Non-Profit to Help Feed the Homeless By Katie Thomas Pulling up to my family’s house and walking through the front door always gives me a sense of comfort and well-being. It’s my safe-haven; a place to run to when I need to be squeezed in tight, a laugh from my younger brothers or a hot meal from my mama’s kitchen. I can always find exactly what I’m looking for when I walk through my parents’ eccentric golden door. I know that I am blessed and fortunate to have such a place to call home. Last semester I attended a class with a woman whom I believed to be of extraordinary, humble character. Maria Johannesen taught our class that an idea can be turned into a lifechanging reality with the right gumption and spirit to back it up. In 2011 Maria noticed statistics showing a high unemployment rate within Pinellas County and an even scarier number of people living without homes. The homeless population grew to reach 5,887 last year; 2,110 of

36

the homeless recorded were children attending Pinellas County public schools. Maria committed herself to putting a grassroots organization together that would feed the homeless and hungry throughout Pinellas County. Maria posted on Facebook her idea of preparing simple brown bag lunches and distributing them to the homeless on Independence Day. She received a phenomenal amount of feedback and as a result she gathered up some friends and got to work putting 250 brown bag lunches together to hand out on Independence Day. “On July 4, 2011, with the kindness of the Salvation Army in South Saint Petersburg in allowing us to use their kitchen, we succeeded beyond our 250 goal; instead preparing 578 bag lunches,” says Maria. “This had a ripple effect that day because of our lunch bags. The Salvation Army was able to feed their residents and individuals still out in the street. By the end of the day 1,012 homeless indi-

viduals were fed. It was the best Independence Day for me and the 27 volunteers, celebrated with many tears and sense of community!” A few months later, Maria and her crew began the process of preparing 1,000 brown bag lunches for another event on November 19, 2011. Brown Bag Lunches of Pinellas was successfully able to adopt seven surrounding shelters into the program, ultimately allowing for a much larger impact. CASA, Touched by an Angel Ministries, Alpha House for Pregnant Women, Pinellas County Homeless Coalition, HEP, Pinellas Hope, and ASAP Homeless Services were all involved in the preparation and distribution of feeding thousands of the homeless. Brown Bag Lunches once again exceeded their goal in preparing 1,461 brown bag lunches with these help of the shelters agreeing to open their soup kitchens for those still out in the street. Maria says, “We received feedback from two of those shelters, in which,

when combined with our bags, 2,271 homeless were fed – a great success!” Maria explained that this was the day that the crew realized that Brown Bag Lunches of Pinellas needed to become a non-profit. Brown Bag Lunches of Pinellas successfully gained 501(c)3 status as a non-profit organization in February 2012. Maria explains, “Since then, we adopted Touched by an Angel Ministries for Christmas, providing over

Now, we are working on our next big event on March 24, 2012, with a goal of preparing 3,000 brown bag lunches. A brown bag lunch includes peanut butter-and-jelly sandwich, a granola bar, a bottle of water and an individual sized apple sauce.
