iPads For Every Classroom A main goal of Brooker Creek Elementary PTA is to help ensure that all its students receive the best education experience made available to them. This year, PTA is trying something new for its Fall Fundraiser named “Students are the Core of BCE PTA.” Rather than send home a catalog for candy, cookie dough or wrapping paper, PTA is asking for a direct donation from individuals, families and businesses. This will allow 100% of contributions to be retained in the school and provide the necessary funds to purchase new iPads for each classroom for the benefit of all its students, Pre-K through 5th grade. The goal is to raise well over $40,000. To engage the students in this fundraising effort, Brooker Creek Elementary PTA is inviting the students to create a 50150 word essay, poem or

picture that best describes one of three themes: Why is Technology important? How Technology has changed the world? How will Technology help change the future? There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, one from each grade level. The fundraiser begins on October 1, 2013 and ends November 8, 2013. If you would like to make a donation or sponsor our direct donation

The great value and amazing fare at Vetture’s keeps patrons coming back! Located in the Brooker Creek Shopping Plaza on East Lake Road, Vetture’s will celebrate its 13th Anniversary in December. The fantastic prices, mouth-watering food and jovial neighborhood feel will have you coming back for more, over and over again! Owners Rick and Dianne Maida have taken their values for quality family time, good food and hospitality and turned small restaurant beginnings into a true community favorite that embraces everyone who enters with

14

warmth. The Maida family feels blessed to be part of such a great neighborhood that has allowed them to turn a restaurant into a family. When Rick and Dianne moved to Woodfield in 1991, they both knew they had found home and a place to raise their four kids, Ricky, Jodi, Corey and Kelli. Both Rick and Dianne are originally from New York. Rick’s mom and dad are both from Italy and many of the recipes served at Vetture’s have been in the family for generations. The authentic Italian cuisine and delectable pizza at Vetture’s is always a great choice! Chef Paul Pennacchini is originally from Rhode Island and has over 30 years of accumulated restaurant experience under his belt. Paul has been working with Rick for many years; his passion and love for food is evident in every dish he creates at Vetture’s. Rick says, “Paul is passionate for his work and he seems to enjoy every bit of it.” I have tried some of Paul’s amazing creations and it is easy to see why folks love this restaurant!

Choose what kind of pasta you prefer, the sauce you love best and the dish that makes your taste buds sing out in glee.

Vetture’s has recently expanded the bar and added two new booths inside the dining area. The bar now has high-top stools, granite countertops and amazing specials on bottled and draft beer, as well as wine, which can be ordered by the glass or bottle from the pizzerias extensive wine list. And if you are in the mood for a celebration, you can order a champagne split. Speaking of celebrations, Rick and Diane’s daughter Kelli is engaged to her high school sweetheart Costa Kontodiakos. The Vetture’s Restaurant and Pizzeria family congratulates the newly engaged couple on their future and welcomes the joining of two families in love! Kelli says, “It was awesome growing up in such a tightknit community, especially having Vetture’s be the restaurant that everyone hung out at. After all our little league games and on weekends growing up, Vetture’s was the place to be! I always got to be with my family and friends at our restaurant – a home away from home!” Rick and Dianne stay involved in the community and always have specials for diners! The owners and staff are welcoming and hospitable, and whether it comes to work or community, Rick and Dianne dedicate themselves to treating people with respect

Save Time and Money with Grout Tech By Kim Thomas Before you spend thousands of dollars remodeling and re-tiling your bathroom or kitchen be sure to call Grout Tech for a FREE estimate on cleaning or repairing old dingy tile and grout. Grout Tech can breathe new life into your existing tile work, making everything shine like new at a fraction of the cost. Grout Tech is a family owned business serving Pinellas and Pasco Counties. With nearly ten years of experience in the industry, Grout Tech specializes in cleaning and sealing tile and grout, re-coloring grout, re-caulking showers and tubs, and repairing grout and broken tiles. Grout Tech will renew existing grout and tile to its original beauty by cleaning and maintaining the tile and grout lines. John Cole and his wife were ready to re-tile their entire bathroom before calling BJ at Grout Tech. “Our bathroom tile was over 40 years old it was looking grungy and very dull. We called Grout Tech and we are extremely pleased with our results!

18

We saved so much money by having the grout in our shower resurfaced and the tile cleaned and it looks brand new,” John shares. BJ is happy to set your appointment, come out and give you a free estimate. She stresses, “It is important for me to be respectful of our customers’ time so I will always arrive at the time we set.” In addition to always arriving in a timely manner, BJ says that they can keep their prices low because they are a family owned business and not a franchise. She explains, “What many people don’t understand is that franchises are often forced to charge more for their services because they have to maintain their franchise fees, but not with Grout Tech.” Not only does Grout Tech keep its rates competitive, but the company will also honor any other quote as long as it is in writing. Because grout is a porous material, trying to remove stains is seemingly impossible. BJ explains, “Color sealing grout lines is one of the many services we offer and it is definitely the most effective way to create a perfect,

We had our family room, kitchen and dining room re-grouted. They also re-grouted the tub, shower and base of our toilet in our bathroom. They were fantastic! Excellent Service Leads to Referrals Throughout the years, Grout Tech has grown through its many referrals from happy customers. People really appreciate that Grout Tech saves them time and money, but it is the excellent service provided that has really helped this business grow. Doris Strathearn, another Grout Tech success story, said that before calling Grout Tech her bathroom and guest bathroom shower and floor grout had deteriorated over time and the tiles were dull and stained. “The tile was in good condition but it was stained so we had Grout Tech come

Feel Better, Look Better, Live Better with Tampa Rejuvenation By Marcy Sanford Tampa Rejuvenation Founder and CEO Brett Markowitz wants to help people lead healthier, happier lives. During his 15 years in the health and fitness industry, he has seen many people who eat right and exercise but still can’t lose weight; and has even seen some that continue to gain weight despite efforts to lead a healthier lifestyle. He says, “Our patients come to us for many different reasons. Some have always been over weight; some have started to gain weight as they get older and can’t lose it despite exercise and dieting; some are suffering from depression and fatigue; some people are having sleep issues. And, for the most part, they all know something is wrong but they just can’t pinpoint what it is. At Tampa Rejuvenation we work with each person to create an individualized plan for their body, hormones, and lifestyle to help them live a healthier, happier life.” Tampa Rejuvenation opened their fourth location in June in the Covington Professional Park at 13648 Hillsborough Avenue. “We opened this office in response to the need of our patients,” says Brett. “We had many people traveling from other areas to come to our offices and we wanted to make it easier for them.” Tampa Rejuvenation’s doctors include Johanna deVryer, MD – Board Certified Internal Medicine; Agnes Green, MD – Board Certified Anesthesiologist; Jeanna Hepler ARNP – Internal Medicine. Brett says, “Each of the doctors are specialists within their unique studies, and they all share a passion for the field of anti-aging and how it is helping to change patient’s lives. They are all A4M credentialed – this is where they go for additional education on how to slow up the aging process and prevent age-related diseases. They all work hand in hand to provide the

22

best patient care possible.” Since 2008, Brett and the board certified doctors and professional personal trainers and nutritionists at Tampa Rejuvenation have been helped hundreds of patients regain their energy and take control of their lives. “Our doctors look at the whole person and all of their symptoms and lab results to discover what is happening with their body,” says Brett. Patients like 42-year-old Stacey have seen amazing results. She says, “Tampa Rejuvenation offers a total healthy lifestyle makeover. I have had exceptional results over the last few months following their program – a loss of 40 lbs of body fat while gaining several pounds of lean muscle mass. I have lost approximately 22 inches from my bust, waist, hips, and thighs, not to mention the improvement of my overall well-being. When I wake up in the morning none of my joints are screaming anymore and my chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain is gone. I no longer feel exhausted and run-down throughout the day. My blood pressure, cholesterol and resting heart rate have dropped significantly. Tampa Rejuvenation provides support to cover every aspect of a healthy lifestyle and gives you the right tools to achieve these results all in one place. They have knowledgeable doctors, personal trainers, and nutritionists on staff to help every step of the way.” One of the many reasons Tampa Rejuvenation’s programs are so successful is that they recognize that no two bodies or body chemistries are exactly alike. They use an integrative approach to determine the most suitable blend of medical weight loss, bio identical hormone therapy, clinical nutrition, and exercise for each individual. The professionals at Tampa Rejuvenation take plenty of time meeting with each patient to assess their needs, challenges, and goals. Then, they perform diagnos-

tic testing to analyze your current health and well-being. After receiving and reviewing your lab results, your doctor will talk to you about your health history, the symptoms you are experiencing, and your goals. Then your doctor will work with a team of fitness and nutrition professionals to create a customized plan to help you reach those goals. Brett says, “Our medical team is comprised of on-staff physicians, clinical nutritionists, medical assistants, and personal trainers. Each patient has a team of professionals to help ensure their success. We treat people for what is really wrong with them instead of using a band-aid approach to treat symptoms as they pop up.” Brett says patients of all ages come to Tampa Rejuvenation for help and that there are many factors besides aging that could be throwing your natural hormone or thyroid levels off balance, including stress, genetics, lifestyle, and environmental toxins, which all can decrease the proper healthy level for your hormones. Once Tampa Rejuvenation gets your hormone levels back to normal, they continue to offer support and help to their patients through an on-going maintenance program. The nutrition and exercise specialists will develop a plan just for you. “We have developed just for Tampa Rejuvenation patients an Iphone or Android application specifically for our weight loss programs; it even prints out a shopping list for you to take to the grocery store,” says Brett. You also receive a workout video and recipes daily. The workout is tailored to

Custom Windows and Doors Of Pasco, Where Custom is Standard By Kim Thomas If you need any type of door, window or components, visit Custom Windows and Doors of Pasco (CW&D). Family owned and operated by the Leggiere family for the nearly 22 years that it has occupied the corner of US 19 and Grand Boulevard in Port Richey, CW&D has earned a stellar reputation for fair pricing, excellent service and honesty. Custom Windows and Doors of Pasco was founded by Bob and Carole Leggiere. Bob passed away September 16, 2012. I am fortunate to have met with Bob a few times over the past years. Sitting at his desk, Bob would lean in a bit and in his straightforward, no-nonsense manner, he told me exactly what set CW&D apart. Working alongside his sons Gary and Bob Jr., Bob left a legacy that the Leggiere family continues – exemplary service provided in a no-pressure sales environment with knowledgeable staff and skilled installation. Recently, Carole, who assumed a leadership role as President of the company, invited me to come and

meet a few of the great people that are part of the CW&D family. Gary Leggiere is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and like his father, he does everything possible to make certain that every customer is completely satisfied. “I don’t give up,” says Gary. “If someone is having a problem such as a hard-to-fit opening, I will exhaust all resources to accommodate people.” I spoke with a customer who experienced this dedication firsthand. Diane of Port Richey and her husband John have used CW&D quite a few times throughout the years and for a couple of different properties. Diane says, “We found a very unusual door style that we wanted and of course it was outrageously expensive, but Gary and Lydia researched and researched and found one for much less. Since we moved to Florida in ’93, we have been to Custom Window and Doors for windows, shutters and doors – most recently on our condo. They are excellent! Of course, we knew Bob and miss him, but Gary lives in the business. He knows it backwards and forwards.” Assisting Gary and handling the

job scheduling for installations and repair services is Lydia Blotta. “I’m the facilitator,” teases Lydia, who literally keeps track of everything the company is doing in four different counties. “Lydia is a tremendous help,” says Carole. “She is energetic and the customers love her!” Not only does Lydia take great care of the cusGary Leggiere, Vice President of Sales tomers, she is a gourmet cook and often brings the ple have a hard time visualizing what office crew to-die-for lunches. Custom Windows and Doors of Pasco in Port Richey, has a stellar reputation in the community for fair pricing, above-and-beyond service and extraordinary craftsmanship as exemplified by the beautiful handcrafted doors (center) that Ralphie built shorthanded. I needed someone skilled and found Ralphie and sent him out. The customer called and said, ‘Where did you find this guy? He is phenomenal!’ And he really is. His favorite word is integrity and he cares about the integrity of the door because his name is on it.” Ralphie describes his work style as, “between old-school and contemporary.” He adds, “I learned from old craftsmen – some are gone now – but I have continued to work with new materials such as composites, plastics and fiberglass, which are extremely durable and a big advantage in a climate like Florida.” If you want a beautifully stained

or painted door, Ralphie works handin-hand with Cynthia Sands-Nelson of Chic Impression in St. Pete. Carole says, “The doors she does always look great and she stands behind her work.” Products & Services Contractors in the area have long trusted CW&D to provide a superior product at a fair price, but you don’t have to be a contractor to shop here. CW&D serves customers who want installation services and do-it-yourself customers, offering custom windows and doors for every budget and for every type of building. Additionally, Custom Windows and Doors sells and

installs all types of hurricane protection products, and supplies and manufactures all types of screening, such as garage door screens and hideaway screens. The company offers repair/replacement services for all types of screening, glass and vinyl. Customers are in good hands with Tom Goodworth, the service tech for CW&D, who has over 35 years of experience. If you are thinking about new windows and doors, the showroom at CW&D is a great place to start. You’ll find many styles of doors and windows from leading manufacturers such as PGT, Silver Line Windows by Anderson, Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors, Therma-Tru Doors, Plastpro Fiberglass Doors, and Gorell Windows, as well as many other top manufacturers in the industry. These days, living in Florida, there is much to know before you can replace your old windows. Depending on your address, there are different types of requirements for building permits, and you may be required to install storm protection for windows. The experts at CW&D handle everything from pulling the building permit to the professional installation of your windows and doors. Hear From Customers Jim and Melody of New Port Richey had CW&D replace all of their windows. Jim says, “They are very reasonably priced compared to the other companies we shopped. They gave us a date and delivered and installed right on time. The windows look great. There was a small place where the stucco needed repair; the guy they sent came within three days and did a great job, too.” Nigel and Janet of Hudson were looking for a company that did custom work and stopped by the showroom when they saw it on US 19. Nigel says, “They were very good. We

had the whole house done and I was very pleased with the windows and doors.” Ralph of New Port Richey also replaced all of the windows in his house at CW&D. “The experience with them is wonderful,” shares Ralph. “We’ve been doing business with them for over 14 years. We have had inserts made for doors. My dad had them replace his garage screen door and I put all new windows in my house. They put each window in very carefully and cleaned up after each one right away. Gary is right up on everything and if you need additional work, the people they refer you to are great too!” Whether you want the very best windows and doors on the market or more affordable, yet still high-quality windows and doors, you’ll find it at this local, friendly, family owned and operated business. Custom Windows and Doors of Pasco has 100s of choices for new windows and doors and the company’s repair shop carries hard-to-find parts for older windows. You’ll find what you need at Custom Windows and Doors of Pasco, but you won’t find a high-pressure sale. Sounding like his father, Gary says, “If I am shopping, I want to be educated about the products. We inform our customers about the products we carry. We never try to pressure anyone. I don’t want people to feel, ‘I wish I’d looked around more.’ I want people to feel that they have researched their options and made the right decision.” Custom Windows and Doors of Pasco is located at 7940 US 19 N in Port Richey. Hours are Mon.– Fri., 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and from 9 a.m.–noon on Sat. After hours appointments can be arranged. SAT AND ACT IMPROVEMENT: TWO MYTHS AND TWO TRUTHS By Dr. Wayne Adams, Former Dean and Full Professor of a Graduate School of Business Having helped students improve their SAT and ACT scores for five years, there are two myths every Florida parent should be aware of: Common core educational standards will help (they won’t); and high schools are improving (highly questionable at best!). The good news is that, with proven tutoring techniques, proprietary materials, and new teaching philosophies, my students normally improve 200 – 300 points on their combined SAT scores, and 4 – 7 points on their ACT composite scores. When any parent looks at the “before and after” essays, they are amazed. Now that the new school year has begun, more and more parents and students are thinking about how to score their best on the SAT and ACT Exams. Bright Futures’ minimum requirements have dramatically jumped, admission to colleges is very competitive, and the workforce realities emphasize that students need to do really well in college to find a good job after graduation. Latest statistics indicate about 3 million seniors graduated from colleges last year, with only 1.1 million college-level entry jobs available.

Myth #1: Common Core Educational Standards Will Help. Recently, a great deal of fanfare has accompanied the national roll-out of these standards while the whole program is embroiled in tremendous controversy. Established by the Federal Government for teaching in all schools in the United States, the two main areas for minimum educational standards are Math and English. Neither of these two key areas will improve our students’ scores against truly

Dr. Wayne Adams has degrees and advanced studies from Harvard, Yale, and Vanderbilt. He is one of the leading tutors in the country. independent world standards. The new math standards barely cover basic geometry and algebra. Using “historical” math, there are no longer absolute truths; so 3 times 4 can now equal 11 so long as a student can effectively explain how they reached that answer. Stanford Prof. James Milgram, the only mathematician on the Common Core Validation Committee, refused to sign off on the math standards, calling the whole thing “in large measure a political document” during testimony he gave in May 2011. In English, there is no new focus on vocabulary, grammar, and writing essays. In fact, the whole area of English is being

de-emphasized because the classics are being almost totally ignored. Myth #2: Florida Public High Schools Are Improving. According to the most recent figures from the Tampa Bay Times, nine of Pinellas County's 16 high schools were rated “A” ( 2011-12 academic year). The state announced tougher evaluation standards for each of the next two years, only to rescind them before publishing the results each year because they were too severe on schools. If nine out of 16 high schools in Pinellas County are “A” schools, how can eight other high schools in Pinellas County the same rating as Palm

same rating as Palm Harbor High School? PHUS is currently rated #22 in US News and World’s ratings of Best High Schools in the country, 80% of the senior class qualify for Bright Futures Scholarships, and FCAT scores are consistently in the top 1% in Florida. Another “A” rated school has less than 50% of its graduates even going to college. Whatever happened to a “bell curve”? Two inconvenient truths: First, the SAT and ACT exams are graded on a curve nationally. One example is a recent student who scored at the 60th percentile for all Florida students on the ACT, which was adjusted to 50th percentile on the national scoring. Second, on standardized international examinations not curved only to

“St. Francis” Continued from page 1 a job for my team. They see it as their mission, often coming in early, staying late to care for and restore our patients to wholeness. Our follow-up care is second to none.” Meet the Friendly Veterinarians Michael Amsberry, DVM and Laurie Greene, DVM combine their unique services to offer a wellrounded and holistic approach to veterinary care at St. Francis Pet Care Center. Dr. Amsberry bought St. Francis in 2010 and Dr. Greene joined him this year in May.

Dr. Michael Amsberry and Dr. Laurie Greene Dr. Amsberry was born the 7th of 8 boys and raised on farms in the

42

Willamette Valley of western Oregon. From the age of 12 until he graduated from veterinary school, he worked as a residential housepainter. He attended Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio earning a BA in Biology/Chemistry in 1986, and then attended Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1990. Dr. Amsberry founded a small veterinarian practice in his hometown in 1995, which he ran successfully until he and his wife Jenny sold it in 2008 so they and their two teenage children could move to Florida to be close to Jenny’s family. The Amsberrys love it here and especially enjoy the East Lake area. Currently, their family pet members include a mother and son set of Yorkies, Truffles and Fudge, and two local rescued cats named Suri and Belle. Dr. Amsberry takes a cuttingedge approach in his practice and has developed special interests in preventative care, internal medicine, dermatology, geriatrics, dentistry, orthopedics, laser surgery and most recently, alternative care such as laser-therapy, nutrition, and acupuncture. He hopes to limit the use of drugs in his patients.

Dr. Laurie Greene hails from New York City, and is delighted to have escaped cold winters for good. She is a graduate of Ohio State University, and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr. Greene enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, from wellness care to surgery, and has a strong interest in nutrition and alternative medical modalities. While in New York, Dr. Greene was affiliated with the prestigious Heart of Chelsea Animal Hospital, and had her own House Call Veterinary Practice. Dr. Greene has two sassy cats of her own; the frisky felines “allow” her to stay in their house and take care of all their needs. Dr. Greene is excited to be part of the team at St. Francis Pet Care Center and is delighted to help take care of the health needs of the lovable pets in our area. She is particularly eager to be part of St. Francis’ service expansion into alternative medical modalities such as acupuncture and laser therapy, and to include house calls and Hospice care among the many services offered at St. Francis Pet Care Center. Exceptional Services “We understand how important the presence of pets are in our lives,”

says Dr. Amsberry. “I truly believe that pets are angels sent to help us through the tough times and join us in celebrating the good times. We strive to manifest our goals of complete wellness- care throughout our hospital, grooming, and resort.” The pet hospital at St. Francis is state-of-the-art and completely paperless, which allows the staff to view, send and display your pet’s medical records easily. All radiographs can easily be sent for a second opinion by a boarded radiologist and the results arrive within the hour. St. Francis has an in-house lab for quick test results. Dr. Amsberry says:

“It has become very apparent over the last 20 years that periodontal disease, while not only very uncomfortable, directly contributes to multiple diseases in the body. We are

convinced that excellent dental care will provide your pet with a much higher quality of life and increase his/her longevity. At least 60% of all dental disease in pets can only be detected with X-rays. We include full mouth X-rays with every dental so as not to miss anything that could be hurting your pet. Our X-rays are digital, and we review them with the Pet Parents at our discharge appointment.” One of the unique services that St. Francis offers is low-level laser therapy; with five FDA approvals for people, Dr Greene says the newest technology of laser healing is beneficial for everything from arthritis to helping wounds heal quicker. Dr. Greene specializes in pet acupuncture and can help you decide if acupuncture and laser treatment are right for your pet’s health.

St. Francis is a cat-friendly practice. A separate entrance and exam room have been designated to accommodate their feline friends. Dr. Greene also provides house-calls for kitties that are just too scared to make the trip in. With traditional and alternative veterinary services, a grooming Salon,

lodging at The Resort, hospice care and even house calls – St. Francis Pet Care Center truly offers it all. St. Francis Pet Care Center offers clients Preventicare Plans to help pet owners obtain excellent preventive care. This wellness assurance starts at $23.95 a month and can save you as much as 40%. Puppy and kitten plans are offered in addition to adult pets. “We started the program a year ago because we saw that a main concern of clients was related to being able to afford excellent health care for their pets,” says Dr. Amsberry. “Preventicare is a discounted program we designed and manage, which allows for clients to make regular monthly payments that spread out the financial burden. It secures very high quality preventative care for our patients.” As a bonus, there is no charge for the exams throughout the year and added discounts for The Resort and Salon. Grooming –– Salon at The Resort The groomers at St. Francis take pride in their art and are trained to keep a watchful eye on skin conditions or other discomforts in your pet. St. Francis offers three different “Spaw” Packages and even offers grooming for cats. The walk-in tub makes it so much easier for large breed dogs and those with mobility issues. There is nothing quite like having a freshly cleaned friend to play with and snuggle! St. Francis is dedicated to bringing you the best grooming techniques and products available, always looking out for the safety and comfort of your best friend. The Resort at St. Francis Pet Care Center focuses on your pet’s comfort and care. The team at St. Francis is the heart and soul of service. Guests get to stretch their legs in one of five play areas, at least 4 times

a day with optional pool time and pupsicles. Coming soon in the eight private suites will be cameras so that you may see how your pet(s) are doing from anywhere in the world 24/7. Your baby will get plenty of exercise and massive amounts of love at The Resort. The team loves to pamper all the guests visiting The Resort and cater to all their needs, making for a happy stay that isn’t overwhelming in any way. Giving Back The St. Francis Pet Care Center staff has a passion for helping pets. Dr. Amsberry believes in giving back to the community. He founded a non-profit program over a decade ago called “Vets For Pets”, dedicated to educating the community on pet wellness, safety and even helps place abused or mistreated animals in loving homes. Check out St. Francis’ facebook for photos and videos of their Extreme Pet Makeover series where St. Francis adopts a homeless pet in need of care, restores them to good health and then places them into a forever home. Dr. Greene says, “The stories are emotional and phenomenal! This program gives us a chance to connect with the community on a compassionate level, while showing the miracles that can occur with love and veterinary care” Both the doctors and staff members visit schools frequently to teach

kids about dog safety and how to approach or deal with animals. Dr. Amsberry became involved in dog bite prevention 20 years ago and developed the program called “Nip the Bite,” because many children are bitten each year, suffer both physical and emotional injuries, often developing a life-long fear of dogs. Teaching children the proper way to approach and behave around dogs prevents bites. St. Francis Pet Care Center will be visiting public libraries and local pet stores to present their “Pet Edge” series that discuss topics from Chinese herbs to heat-stroke prevention. Make sure you stay updated with St. Francis Pet Care Center’s website and facebook page for information regarding upcoming events, Extreme Pet Makeover stories and Pet Edge dates. For those wanting to “Wag more and Bark Less” look for the up and coming “Tails and Ales” parties that St. Francis will be hosting at local tap houses around the community! St. Francis Pet Care Center is located at 3591 Keystone Road in Tarpon Springs. It is open Mon– Fri 8-5 and Sat 8 -Noon. Find information about Medical/Surgical care, “Spaw” Packages, The Resort, Pet Edge, and Extreme Pet Makeover on the website at www.SFVET.us or call (727) 9377600.
