Living Science Lab
O
ur Lady of Wisdom Regional School in Port Jefferson is home to a Living Science Lab that allows students to see, handle, understand and manipulate objects and materials related to their studies. The Science Lab allows students in all grades, Pre-K through 8th, to have a real world, hands-on learning experience outside of the classroom setting, which is essential to Common Core teaching. The Living Science Lab is equipped with many lab supplies.

Rain or shine, Imaginations at Play offers days packed full of fun and activities in its 8000 square foot play area designed for children aged 6 months to 11 years. All of our activities help the social and academic development of children. We have designed our play space for parents and caregivers to not only watch the children learn and play but interact and play along with their children. Our guests can enjoy the hands-on activities that Imaginations at Play provides daily! Parents are welcome to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching their children play. Includes Free Wi-fi. Imaginations at Play offers both children’s and adult’s educations classes, birthday parties and open playtimes. Our facility features hands on education experiences which incorporate sensory and dramatic play.
