LETTER FROM THE OWNER Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Welcome to my home! This home means a lot to me since it was the first one I owned. I have thoroughly enjoyed personalizing it. When I first bought this home, I thought I was going to live here for many years to come. Within a year, I met my fiancé and we are getting married in a few months. Unfortunately, I am moving since he does not live in Virginia. Now, all the renovations I was going to enjoy are being passed along to you! First, I love the people in this community. I have made friends with many of the neighbors on my halls and in the other buildings. The children here are precious, and I have connections with many of them. The maintenance and office staff are great, always friendly, and quick to help. I know them all by name and they always wave hi and call me by name. My condo has been such a fun place to turn into my own. My parents got me all new stainless-steel appliances in 2017 as a gift! The extravagant oven was my favorite addition. There is so much cabinet space in the kitchen which holds my tea collection and my Nana’s Corningware pots and pans. I did a 100% complete remodel of the bathroom in 2017. I even got to help with the demolition of old walls! I did a lot of research of tubs and chose a fancy “Americast” brand tub because I wanted something long lasting I wouldn’t have to worry about. I also did a lot of research on the windows I purchased. I had a connection from a friend that gave me a great deal on a well-known Provia brand. The performance of the windows has been perfect. It gave my condo a more modern look. The two bedrooms in my unit are the largest I’ve lived in. If there’s something I have a lot of it’s my clothes, shoes, and coats wardrobe. I’ve stayed in similar sized places in the past, and I never had enough space. But it’s no problem here! Even the small bedroom holds a queen bed, large dresser, standing, dresser, a side table, with room for more. I chose to make the master bedroom my gym and study and have a great view of the sky while exercising. The mornings and evenings on the balcony are my favorite aspect of this place. I can drink tea on the porch and watch the sunrise and beautiful view. Or I take a short walk to the walking/biking trails down the street and will sit by the river or walk through the tree lined paths. I love that there is so much within walking distance! I am bummed that I won’t be here for the outdoor town center/mall they are putting in less than two miles away in 2020. You can see the location of the mall from my condo!
